I came in a little early and just didn't know what I wanted exactly. Christina was absolutely in it, she asked me every question in the book. Mind you this is the 1st time being there. This whole visit was totally fantastic. From the talks to hair dressing (lol) it self, I felt like I was at home especially between Christina and Garcia. I really wish it was like an old time Barber shop where they just come in for a few hours BS and drink coffee. That's the type of place it feels like. I went to this new salon (new for me) today in Winder and would never have found it without talking to Christine. So, definitely call or text. It is by appt. So you kind of have to. Christine did my hair, and Linda was there with her doing other ladies' hair. If you want a stylist who is totally honest and works with you to make you look your absolute best; Christine is the one to go to. I have the hardest time finding someone who works with my thinning, fine hair, and she is just amazing. I walked out of there feeling absolutely amazing. I found a Stylist to replace the last Stylist (owner) at Bombshell in Hoschton that I never thought I could replace. (She and her family moved), and I was at a loss. But Christine and Linda are professional but fun and kept me laughing half the time I was there. Very personable while still professional. I feel like a brand new me, thank you, Christine. I've been going to ColorZone since I moved to Georgia over 10 years ago. From my first appointment, I've been going to Christina Martinez. She's awesome. I'm usually very adventurous with my hair and color and she's always up for the challenge and other times she will flat out tell me why I can't or shouldn't go for the style/color I'm requesting. I very much appreciate her honesty. I trust her too. There's been times when I walk in and tell her to go for it! Anything...I'm always satisfied and I always carry her business cards with me bc i get stopped in public often and complimented. Christina is now managing the salon and there are huge changes happening over the past year or so. Changes for the better. Kristi and staff are amazing. I was going to stop by to make an appointment , and was seen right away. My hair really was a hot mess , trying to cover roots with over the counter dye and getting the wrong color to boot. She did a fabulous job and even put in a few highlights. This is my new place ! I am taking the time to write a review based on my experience since now I have the down time. I got my hair done by {Lauren} on 7/8 and it was amazing. I loved it so much and Lauren was amazing. I will tell you why I emphasized on the word "was." On 8/22 I came in for my next hair appointment and the foils bled and had stripey highlights. We reset an appointment on 9/13 to fix it and it wasn't any better in fact in had more streaks that looked in odd places. I was 62 days total that my hair wasn't fixed since the date of 10/23 when I texted again and 40 since she tried the last time to fix it. I have tried effortlessly to try an reset an appointment to get it fixed. She explained she could not come early, could not stay late , did not work certain days, her already had people for certain appointment times she left for a wedding. I was unable to get my hair fix after the first attempt. I was hopeful her boss would step in to fix the problem but instead she slowly stopped responding to my text messages in hopes it would just all go away.I had to wear my hair in a baseball cap because it was so awful. I really liked Lauren and its a shame she did not make her wrong a right. I spoke to a few stylists and they said they would have moved appointments around to fix this or came early or stayed late. It is now 4/26. That is approximately almost 36 weeks later she has not reached out to fix the issue and make her wrong a right. read more

First color by Tierra was $48, and this service does not come with a blow dry and she did not follow the formula given by my hairdresser from SF. She added gold and my hair is ashy blonde. But for $48 I forgave her. But then the second time in TIERRA did the same thing but she also did 4 foils of brown. She did not match the colors in my hair or the pattern at all and no blow dry. Then she overcharged me! $120 later and I reach out to her. We decided I might come back in and use up the $30 credit. But then I decided, TIERRA is not good for my hair. I have called for 6 months about my refund and TIERRA never returns my calls, ducks and dodges me over $30. I did catch her once and TIERRA denied overcharging as she couldn't recall the services and she still believes she cut my hair, which she did not. TIERRA is absolutely awful and a fraud. I know I will never get the money back for her shoddy services. If you care about your hair go elsewhere. BE WARNED! read more

Erich Miller is the best!!!! I drive all the way from downtown to get my hair done by the best. It is so scary to be a blonde. Trusting people to take you to that perfect shade. I went to color zone yesterday after requesting a stylist that works with short pixie cuts and short hair cuts when I made the appointment. when I got there Christina was triple booked. I originally requested a skin fade, not everyone's speciality, and she said I'd be better off at the barbershop next door. I decided to go with a graduated cut that was still short instead since she said she could do that. I showed her pictures of the hair cut I wanted and other pictures of similar styles so she could get a clear idea of what cut I was looking for. My wedding is in less than two weeks so it was very important that my hair be trimmed up and restyled well. After telling her I did not want an under cut and I usually end up with a bunch of lines in my hair since my hair is so straight.....I ended up with lines all over my head, my left ear didn't get trimmed around all the way, my neck line didn't get cleaned up, my hair on each side was trimmed down too short/too high up to blend the top of my hair with the sides like I wanted and had picture references of. I'm not sure if it was just an off day or what, but a client should never end up with hair like mine was yesterday. They say they'll fix it for free,but I'm not letting her touch my hair again. I ended up going to an amazing salon in Duluth and paying for it to be fixed. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Do not go here if you're looking for a short sassy cut. read more

You can't "follow formulas" as every salon carries different products,you can only use the equivalent and attempt to 'match' desired out come. Also remember the things that factor into switching up a regular formulation such as medications,vitamins,age,drugs,drinking,etc.. if you and tiara decided on a $30 svs deduction,that's only what you are allotted, not a "refund"! It's really convenient to act 'polite' after your svs while still at the salon,knowing you aren't happy yet wait until anytime after to call and demand a cheap cuponish follow up service. If there was a problem and required Any form of refund, you have 48hrs kindly at most as a consumer is concerned. A blow dry, style, blow out,trim/cut is an add on unless you are receiving a color/cut special or partial hl/lol - cut special... Sooo next time as you book with a new master stylist, as you confirm your appointment (which is done again at least 48Hrs before your svs appointment) know when they say "we're calling to confirm you appointment for a color with tiara on Wednesday," if you want or expect more, that's the appropriate time to understand , correctly comprehend, and or chance what you're service will include..you're owed nothing from this stylist,perhaps you should be apologizing to her. @D.B. read more

It's hard to pay full price when you don't know what you're getting, so I went on Groupon looking for some deals. After reading several A+ reviews I called to schedule an appointment. The manager Christina suggested I come in for a consultation and if we decided on something that I liked, I would receive service at that time without a further appointment. Where is the no star, I am NEVER going back option? I am a resident of Dacula. I moved here five years ago. I own two homes here, run a business here, and have my first child on the way to start and raise our family here. I will never, ever, ever, EVER go back into this salon again and will continue to bad rep this company for the rest of my life. I don't even know many other places to get your hair cut in Dacula, but I know where NOT to go and this place is one you want to avoid. I had been getting my hair cut at this location for a couple of years. It's a convenient location to where I work and the girl Kristine mostly did an ok job. It was high priced, but my hair is wavy and difficult and it usually takes about 30-45 minutes to get it right so I paid the price. Because my hair is so hard to cut, I typically am a lifer as far as who I trust to cut my hair. I will even send my wife there, friends there, and anyone else to go there because it takes some good skill to cut my hair right and people know that because of my personal standards, my referral is good. However, skill does not give ANY company the right to treat their customers with disrespect and that is what you will get at this place. Throughout my experience having my haircut there, Kristine always let me know how much of a burden I was to her paycheck. I am a young guy who runs a business so I am almost always 5 or 10 minutes late and it takes her 30-45 minutes to get my haircut right so in her exact description, I am not worth her time to have my hair cut by her because she can make more commission off getting a highlight job that only takes her 15 or 20 minutes and the customer pays $150.00 bucks or whatever it is. I always tried to tip well over 20% to make up for it because I felt like a burden, but she still always tried to push me off onto someone else. The last few haircuts were bad, I am sure intentionally to run me off, and the very last time I went, she explained that my spot had been filled by other, more important opportunuties and she could not cut my hair. I am done. If a company can't respect me and my referred business and is going to constantly demean my importance to their organization, I just can't do business with them any longer.
