I have an issue that on Yelp and on Google it says that the closing hours for lunch are 12-1 just for me to arrive at 11:30 on my lunch to realize I wasted my time driving over here. Please fix the hours online to reflect the office closure of 11:30-1 pm and I can readjust my rating. This is a very upsetting situation. I have been going to Colorado Allergy & Asthma Centers for over 25 years. I have recommended them to others who all thought the treatment they received was excellent. 25 years ago I was using my rescue inhaler constantly and would wake up at night unable to breathe. I saw a doctor at Colorado Allergy & Asthma Centers who gave me treatment that I use twice a day. I've changed medications over time, but all have been effective. I rarely use my rescue inhaler. I have been treated well by the office staff, my appointments are on time, the doctors are knowledgeable and spend time with me answering questions. I have been to the Southwest and the Centennial clinics. read more

Did they close this location and not inform me (a current, longstanding patient)? I don't want to have to physically stop by and play detective.... Update: I emailed the practice and got a call back the following morning. I think my initial agitation at the situation was more due to the panic at the thought of having to find a new immunologist. I loved Anna Meyers. She was so sharp and was a good listener and she was the most skilled allergist since have ever met. She has left the practice and I do plan to try to follow her. I had a provider on my last visit who 100% disappointed me. Not only was she not trained to answer my question, she asked me to do something that I consider life threatening. I cannot follow her directions and I am appalled at her disregard of my safety. I really don't want to go into a situation where I immediately need to call. 911. read more

I drove up from Steamboat Springs to meet with the allergist as a new patient as I keep having allergy outbreaks that result in Hives and ER visits. I feel the new appointment went well, however since then (August 2023) it has been a struggle to be taken care of and advocate for my care. I was told in the office that the allergen shots could be mailed to where I would be getting them administered, except for when the time came they told me that they had to be hand carried and that they were wrong at the office. (I will say this is a rave for Dr Ebadi, he did drive them up to steamboat springs for me.) When it came time for a refill I emailed back the paperwork within minutes. I got a call a week later they still hadn't "received" my paperwork. I emailed it again right then and it was there instantly. (This is important). With this refill I was able to pay for them to be shipped?! Surprising-- but very okay with paying the 25$. Turns out in April I was going to have to move offices to get the shots administered. Fine. We started the process in April 2024. My allergy nurse here was very helpful and got all the paperwork to them. Which oops, surprise, they never got it. We tried two more times to get them this paperwork. My new office received the paperwork they needed to sign in early June 2024. They signed it and sent it right back. Oops, guess who mysteriously didn't have the paperwork on their end again? Colorado allergy. We finally get all of this paperwork sorted after now 2.5 months. Oh now I have to hand carry my allergy shots again from Denver...... how?! I paid to get them shipped in March? To which I was told that must have been a mistake in March. (Which also my new office was literally downstairs from my old office and we all asked if my allergy nurse here could walk them down... NOPE. I live about 4 hours each way from the office and have two small toddlers. So that is not a day trip I can do or take work off of to accommodate. My entire experience with this office has been far below my expectations. Working as a nurse in a busy office I could NEVER in a million years imagine mishandling patients records and care so poorly. It has been thousands of dollars and MONTHS of time that is now wasted as they will not send my shots or help me in any way. So now my shots will just sit there and expire.... I would never recommend this practice to anyone. I have never been so frustrated, saddened, or upset at how poor my care has been.. read more

What happened????? Came her yesterday for a new client appointment for my young daughter as she appeared to be having a return of a food allergy. A food allergy. 3 hours later we are told she has allergies to cottonwood, sage brush and cockroaches? Oh and not eggs. The only scratch test for food was eggs. Everything else was grasses, pollens, animal dander. That's NOT why we came. We came for food allergies. So why did they test for everything else but that? To make matters worse, it took two hours to see the doctor. And, my daughter was in extreme discomfort with the scratch test - the timer went off and no one came in for at least another 10 minutes. On 3 occasions i went into the hallways to ask for assistance and each time was told to wait. Oh, so now they want her to do bloodwork and a challenge test. The doctor suggested we go to children's hospital for the bloodwork bc my daughter hadn't had any done since she was an infant, and children's was better w kids. Then they handed me a lab work request for Quest. I told them the doctor told us to go to children's. But since the last "hold tight" took over 20 minutes i wasn't going to wait for a new lab slip. Nor was i going to sign a document to schedule a challenge test where we'd be at that office for potentially even longer. No. Never again. Listen to the patient and what they're there for. I'm now paying for tests i didn't even come in for. Keep appointment times. If you're going to be 2 hours late, tell the patient so we can reschedule. Total waste of time and probably a lot of money. Yep, I too should have read the reviews. I used to receive two sets of allergy injections. Once I went through all of the antigen jars, I was told they had to get more made and will contact me when they're ready to continue getting shots. I never heard back, and I cannot seem to get a hold of anyone to find out if the next set of antigens are ready. It's been a month now and if they ever become ready, they would have reduce the dose again to build me back up the standard maintenance dose. Giving the clinic the benefit of the doubt, perhaps they're have too many patients to handle - or - they're customer service is horrible, or both. read more

I have been very ill for sometime requiring hospitalization, multiple episodes of random anaphylaxis, asthma exacerbation etc. I was referred to Dr. Greg Lomas, who was wonderful the one time I saw him, and gave me hope to controlling these scary symptoms and diagnosis. I am a nurse and currently on short term disability as the symptoms have been life altering and possibly dangerous to my patients given my specialty and the unpredictability of onset. Connie RN nurse manager gave me a lab slip to have a very specific lab drawn (along with others) which i had drawn day after appointment. I noticed it was not the lab the Dr. had spoken of. When I called she was jovial and glad I had noticed. I asked if they could get the lab from the specimen already drawn, to which she replied they already had. I checked the lab website many times and never saw results. This particular lab could diagnosis or hopefully rule out something akin to leukemia. I have contacted the office several times as they are refusing to update information to my disability claim since there is no diagnosis or so Connie says. I am a single mom. My other providers had no issue providing updates, but here I am with a terminated claim, two little boys, no income, no diagnosis. Best part, called Connie (Its been a month) she NEVER actually got that lab result, nor did she call me to inform me that I still needed it. It was me that figured that out. Who knows? could have been diagnosed a month ago and safely back at work. I'm not sure why there is such reservation on updating the medical information. I'm not sure why I was never contacted to get the very specific and informative lab. I'm not sure if Connie thinks this is not a big deal, but it is life altering for my family. I have an appointment in a couple of days. I think Dr. Lomas is not only competent, but very invested and I am looking forward to his insight. Connie? Not so much. I'd like to personally thank her for making sure I have no diagnosis, and of course no income for my small boys. I hope no one ever treats her this way. read more

Extremely unhappy with the additional mask restrictions. The Governor's order states 12 and up who are NOT vaccinated. I am vaccinated and both my kid's are under 12; however, all three of us were required to wear a mask while in the office. I do not agree with this or that masks on kids help prevent the spread of COVID-19 or anything. read more

Not impressed! I took my son here in hopes of finding him relief for his eczema. The first doctor suggested wet wraps 3 times per day for 30 minutes. That didn't work so we saw another Doc who suggested we remove our dogs and cats from his environment. Then we had to make a special appointment with a PA to get an allergy medication. Refilled - they wouldn't just do it over the phone even though they prescribed it. My sons eczema is terrible, and we will seek an allergy specialist that is competent in treating it read more

I was given allergy shots here for almost 3 years, before I was told by the PA that I did not have allergies, just a "sensitive nose". And that allergy shots were subjective anyway. These shots were a great expense and time commitment. The nurses and front office staff were very professional, that's why I am giving this practice 1 star, but the rest of the office gets a 0 in my mind. The MD's are very difficult to get in to see, so instead you see PA's and nurse practitioners, why are we charged the same amount to see them? Wow the gift that keeps on giving. After discontinuing my care here following the complete mishandling of my account, they have continued to send me final notice notifications on a balance that I have already set up a payment plan for. As someone who works in healthcare, I have truly been astounded at all of the ways they have failed to value customer experience, starting with providing initial information, to verifying insurance properly, and now to how they manage patient billing. I am not someone who writes negative reviews regularly, but I would actively discourage anyone from going to this office. read more

The Denver allergy office is completely irresponsible. First, they tried to kill me by accidentally giving me 10 times the regular dose of antigen (they gave me .7 instead of .07) which required giving me tons of meds to counteract the anaphylactic reaction they caused. Now, when I move out of state, I give plenty of notice to have my antigen mailed and they just sat on the request. When I followed up a week later (still a week before my appointment with my new doctor) they told me they were just waiting for me to call in with the information. I requested that they mail it overnight since they weren't ones who messed up. When I called back today to check the status, I was told it went out today by regular mail. I asked for a supervisor and was told by that person that the receiving office didn't return some form (first I am hearing about that). So it is still not their error but my new doctor's office. I will now have to take another day off work in order to get my shot once the antigen arrives (assuming it does). This will make me delayed in receiving my shot and will cost me another day off work. They didn't care at all. read more

Dr. Laoprasert has been nothing but the best for our family. Both of my children see her for their allergies. She takes the time to meet with us regarding both of our girls and gives us samples of their medication every time we see her. When our youngest ended up in the hospital due to a serious reaction, she was the one calling us to follow up, on a Saturday none the less. Making sure she was ok. She cares about her patients and their treatment. read more

Dr. Greos is an amazing doctor. He has wonderful bedside manner and this practice is top-notch in terms of communicating allergies and issues with your team of doctors (internist, etc.) I highly recommend seeing him if you are in need of allergy relief or need to do testing. read more

I was referred here from my primary doctor to test for bee stings to see if I needed an EpiPen. When I checked, in I was misled and told that I had met my deductible and would see no charges. At that point, I was actually talked into receiving additional testing I hadn't originally planned on (as, according to the office, I would not be charged further.) The office literally upsold additional testing to me to make more money, while misleading the charges I would see. A month later, I received a surprise bill for over $500 from the office. When I called to discuss, the office was incredibly rude and blamed me for the misunderstanding. While it is true that one should always know their own insurance, the doctors office should also take responsibility to not mislead and oversell when they are incorrect - knowingly or otherwise. While the doctor was fine (for the 30 seconds I saw him), this office is clearly only out to make and sell as many tests as possible. Like other reviews state, I would not recommend this office as anything other than a money grabbing operation. Look elsewhere. read more

I am extremely disappointed in the level of service and professionalism we have received from this company. I referred my boyfriend to get an allergy test. Once he went, he was billed over $1,000 for the initial test out of pocket (which I understand everyone has different insurance). I called as soon as we received the bill and spoke with a gal in the billing department, who assured me everything was alright to pay it down in installments and there would be no issues at all and nothing would be sent to collections. Let's be honest, who has $1,000 laying around from an initial allergy test. He has been making payments every month on time. Without even reaching out to him, they decided to call an attorney and charge him not only the amount in full, but an additional fee for the attorney. I am wondering why someone in billing would advise monthly payments are ok and then without even notifying the patient, send an attorney to seek out funds. A simple call to clear things up would have sufficed. I will be sure to tell everyone I have referred to your company to leave and find another company who truly cares for their patients and has the professionalism to simply call someone before sending an attorney and costing them more out of pocket. read more

I am incredibly disappointed with the professionalism from this practice. I had to get a nickel test done for a potential life changing surgery coming up. The nickel test is extensive and required four total visits to the office including the consult, putting a patch on, taking the patch off, and then having a final read. When I went in to get the patch removed, the nurse stated that it was negative. This was incredibly exciting to me. I asked her if it would be safe to call my doc and schedule the surgery and she replied "yes." I went in two days later and the PA checked and it was positive. I was incredibly disheartened and asked for a second opinion just to make sure since the nurse was so confident two days earlier. She refused and just repeated "its positive." No compassion whatsoever. I am not upset that the test was positive. I know that can't be changed. I am upset that the nurse made me feel so sure when it was removed and that the PA would not even consider a second opinion. I would find another allergy clinic if you are looking for people who care and are professional. read more

I am rating a 1 star because of financial fraud and lack of communication this staff has. I received allergy testing (all covered by insurance as I spoke to my insurance myself) and was recommended allergy shots. After finding out more about the shots (they would be around $400 with my insurance and I have to go in 3/wk) this was not something I had the budget or time to do. So, it was a wonder to me when I received $465 bill from Colorado Allergy and Asthma the next month. I called the office and the receptionist explained to me they had temp workers over the holidays and the temp accidentally ordered shots for several of their patients without consent. She said she was passing it to finance to reconcile the bill, as it was their accident. Fine, I understand. Then, 2 months later I get another bill (reduced, but everything on my visit was covered) for $118. At this point, no one returned my call from finance, and no one fixing their original mistake. Now (6 months after treatment) they sent my $118 to a debt collector to collect money that I don't owe! This is a terrible way to lose a patient of 6 years, and they don't even care. I went with my 24 yo daughter today to discuss testing her for penicillin allergy. Many allergists will not test for this. This was vital bc we had be told that she was allergic when she was a toddler bc she got a mild rash after taking amoxicillin for an ear infection. She was diagnosed last week with Active Lyme Disease (YES In CO, no we had not left the state in 10 yrs!) and they give a 2 antibiotic to prevent it from becoming chronic. One of the drugs is amox! We called them yesterday and they got her in TODAY! We were told we see someone today, then come back later for testing. We saw Dr Laoprasert who immediately understood the urgency of finding out if she actually had an allergy or she just got a rash because of the infection. They tested her for multiple types of Penicillin at the appointment, then when they were clear they gave her 500mg orally. She was fine! No reaction. Thank you so much for seeing her immediately, not trying to tell us she "couldn't have lyme disease in CO", and being kind and helpful. From the MD to her nurse and the women in the front, everyone was polite, kind ,and understanding . I will gladly recommend them to any of my patients! Used to come here and get tested when i was younger. I made an appointment this month and was told my insurance wouldn't cover it but i decided to make the appointment anyway. After calling around and finding a doctor that would take my insurance i called and left a message cancelling my appointment as no one answered the phone. I left my information and got no call back so i figured they got the message. Well i just got an email saying i missed my appointment. Dr greos is great but i think the reception area needs some work. I would recommend this doctor but would definitely keep calling until you're talking to a human. read more

They won't tell you how much the service will cost and you'll have a $700 bill show up at your door. This amount is for the test, not the solution or the shots. If you don't have the $700 to pay, they will let you enter into a payment agreement only to send you to an attorney with Absolutely no notice when you're payments are made on time. The attorney will also tack on another $125 to your remainder. If money and communication mean nothing to you then you have nothing to worry about. read more

I have been going to this practice for 11 years. Over time their practice has changed drastically. At first they wanted to help my son and I manage our asthm and allergies however each time they asked me to participate in "research". I finally did. Once I was done with their study they were done with me. I have never received the same treatment since. My asthma is more out if control now then ever before. They have no compassion. They have no desire to help me. Sad I fell for this "company" that just wanted a research project. Not to mention every time I take my son inthyenwamt him to do a research study too.
