This office is a nightmare and one of the worst doctor's offices I've ever been to. Dr Mellamed is very bad at communication and leaves you with more questions than answers. My initial appointment setup and actual appointment both went very well. It took about two weeks to receive my results, and during my follow-up appointment, it was recommended that I start injections. At first, I declined because I wanted time to do my own research. About two days later, I called back to move forward with treatment. The front desk told me they would inform the doctor and get back to me. Two weeks passed with no response, so I called again. I was told, "Oh, no one sent it, but I'll take care of it and call you back." Another week went by, and after calling again, I was told they still needed to send it but that they could see the notes on my account. After another week with no update, I went into the office in person and received the same response: "We didn't send it, but I'll do it now and call you next week when it's ready." From there, I continued calling weekly for the next four weeks trying to get updates. During my final call, I was extremely frustrated after weeks of conflicting information and lack of follow-through. That was when I was finally told that I needed to sign a form through the patient portal. I attempted to complete it, but the portal would not allow me to sign. I then sent a written confirmation message through the portal to document everything. After that, I was told my shoes should be ready within two days. Three days later, I called again only to be told that the form likely needed to be printed, signed manually, and re-uploaded. At that point, I had completely lost confidence in the office and felt like my care was not being taken seriously and they didn't give a fuck. I ultimately decided to move forward with a different company and location, and they were able to get me scheduled immediately. read more

The most unprofessional office I've ever had the displeasure of receiving 'care' at. I made the appointment & told the receptionist what I needed, I told the nurse on appointment day and then again had to tell the doctor because no one had relayed it. I asked at end of appointment if I needed to take my lab orders to labcorp and I was told no, I attempted to get my labs drawn but there was no orders, I called-still no lab orders, emailed them and still no lab orders were sent. I called to speak to someone about my experience and no one called back. I then replied to the 'confidential' feedback form, the doctor then called me and had clearly read the answers. He had time to call me after I made an 'anonymous' complaint but couldn't bother to send over lab orders. read more

I have been a patient at Veros off & on for 30 years. I used to have the UPMOST TRUST in Dr. Isaac Melamed, MD. However, these last two years have been a Disastrous NIGHTMARE! I have been misdiagnosed with more than one (wrong) condition, I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on hundreds of labs & tests only to be wrongfully treated AND wrongfully diagnosed! The entire staff is incredibly scattered! There's NO consistent communication among staff & doctors, nor do they actually follow through with what they say they're going to do. Plus their staff is just, rude! I'm now being brushed off by Dr. Isaac Melamed & the entire Veros Health Center's staff! It's taken me over two MONTHS to get ahold of anyone who's able to help with my situation. Plus it's been over two YEARS of poor medical advisement & medical treatment! There's NOBODY to complain to nor is there any way to submit a grievance report. Veros Health has been helpful w/Labcorp testing to reveal health problems. Unfortunately, I often find errors in the patient notes. There's also a level of absent mindedness. Some examples are forgeting to call in my medication to my pharmacy after prescribing it. There's also forgetting to send in orders for exams & more. Lately, there's no way to contact anyone. I e-mail & I'm ghosted. I call & receive a recording. I Recently left an important message & was never called back. That was 5 days ago... I'm baffled @ how this business still operates w/o communication to acheive quality care. Can't help but wonder if there's a secret club w/Veros Health & I'm not a part of it? Although the infusion center and nursing staff do not deserve this one star rating, the horrendous communication of the scheduling and answering service brings my overall rating to a 1 star. They NEVER answer their phones NOR do the call back (although the message says they will get back within 24 hours). Two different times I have had to drive to the center to speak with the scheduling department (and coincidentally while doing so, I actually met someone who had to do the same thing!). When I express my frustration, I get the same response, which is "we are short on staff", or "we only have one person doing the scheduling". This has been going on for 8 months!!! How does a business continue to operate like this? I've never experienced this level of poor communication. It's infuriating. I have been a pt of Veros ( ANGELA!! Fabulous!) but went in for Neuro for the first time. I met with Yuri, very nice, did a thorough intake and laid out plans of attack. And then, I met Brianna, the med assist for Neuro.Dept. She's amazing. She stepped in the room, saw me, and turned off the lights-- (if you get migraines, you'll know this was big) then filled in all blanks-- med side effects, timing, etc. and answered all questions, made sure I had access to help/answers.. She is aware, kind and extremely professional. It is a rare thing in health care to find someone who genuinely cares about providing quality work AND cares for patients. As an update to my previous review, I was offered blood work to check to see if I have other autoimmune conditions. Lab Corp is right in their office which was convenient, but I was not warned what the cost of thus blood work would be. Just got the bill and my ins was billed $6999.00. My portion is $500.00 which thankfully is no where near the almost $7,000.00 but it's still more than I ever imagined. Be careful when consenting to blood work and find out the cost first. read more

***Updated Review*** After several years of putting up with everything, my rating has gone from five stars to one, because of few things. 1)Dr. Melamed's time management. I often waited more than an hour, sometimes up to two hours for my appointments, unless I had them first thing in the morning. He would not apologize, or even acknowledge this. At several of the meetings my husband came and left because he had to go back to work. Dr. Melamed and his staff show incredibly poor skills at working effectively. 2)Patient confidently The set up at ImmuneO is great. They have separate rooms where each patient can infuse by him/herself, unless it's crowded, then we'd have to double up. Not only did they breach my confidentiality when they thought another woman was me, but they gave her facts about my medical history. I should have stopped going there after this, but I continued. I had more waiting hours for appointments, more missed appointments because the doctor 'wasn't in,' and more uncomfortable times when the front desk staff was being reprimanded in front of me. Finally, enough was enough, and I decided I had to go. My time, confidentiality, and dignity were worth more than that. Even if Doc Melamed was the smartest man in the world, I wouldn't go to him. I was going to this office for about year and I can not tell you how many times I was frustrated and disappointed. My serum seriously took 2 months to have made when it was supposed to take 3 weeks. and the doctor downplayed the severity of Covid during the Omicron surge. Now I'm at a new allergist who informed me that Immuno-E was not treating my mold allergies. I get that in CO there's not much mold. But I was never informed that was what my treatment plan was. I travel and spend time in places with ample mold. And given the choice, would have chosen to receive the additional shot. Now I have togo through the build up phase again. Incredibly disappointed. So the doctor I thought is so amazing in my previous review is leaving. Since I found out, I have been charged on a day when I was not physically present. To put this in context, I always pay when I check in but the next time was charged twice for a time I wasn't even there. Twice when I was in route I was told to turn back because they close at the time when I normally arrive. I even set up an appt. elsewhere. Last week me and my spouse spoke with someone who insisted that I could still go here but to call ahead, despite checking in. When I called in saying I'd be a minute late I was told again that it was too late even though when I got there, there were 5 others in the waiting room. As any contractor knows, it doesn't make sense to lose pay once a week to get allergy shots. So much for thinking that i have to drive a little farther to get good quality. Next time I have an allergy appt. here, I will need the new doctor to explain to me the benefits of getting my allergy serum renewed here instead of going somewhere closer with later hours. read more

I visited immunoe for an immunological issue and then tried to follow up with an appointment to see an ENT for sinus issues related to my immunological issue. We ran thousands of dollars in tests which the Dr. Explained in language I could not understand. He told me so.ething is wrong but there's nothing he can do to help. I scheduled a follow up (at his suggestion) to try and understand what he was saying and got the same answer. What the heck? I tried to schedule with the sinus solutions Dr's. I started with a referral in September, followed up with another referral in October, called 4 times to schedule an appointment and left my new for a call back every time (I spoke with live people every time I called) and never got an appointment. I feel like Dr Melamed is a good Doc. I appreciate what he did for me at my first appt. my secoMd appt was a disaster. I flew in from another state. Not one question was answered. I think he spent 5 mins with me reading my blood work for the first time. Then he found one thing I was never told what to do expect etc. then they said I would do another test at that appt and then it was never mind. The staff is very nice but most horrible ran office I have seen. I asked about certain blood tests and he said he didn't have tHem aNd wasn't concerned that he didn't have them. Total waste of time and right at a 1000. Trip for me. Ugh !!! I have called the office twice since I got back to see what treatment im suppse to do and can't get a call back. If can't use LabCorp for your labs then forget about. I can you only use quest and is had been a nightmare trying to get labs sent to quest. Have called 16-20 times and just keep getting the run around. It's like they don't listen to what your asking. But they call to schedule appointment to go over to labs. Impossible to get to speak with someone who works at Dr. office. Will never go back. And they have you sign a stupid form stating you will call them before going to er. A relative has been going to this center for infusion for several years and has had no problems till last year. The staff here used to be very efficient and scheduling appointments was handled promptly. However, this center was sold to another company and it has been a nightmare ever since. They cannot keep staff and the staff they do have is about as incompetent as they come. They lose doctor's orders and the blame it on the doctor's office instead of themselves. They tell you they will get problems solved that day and two weeks later no one has addressed the issues. We are currently looking for a new infusion center for our relative. She is going through enough healthwise and doesn't need the consistent problems with this center. The staff is awful. If you need infusion, find a different center. read more

I never got into see the Dr. After waiting 1 he they said it would be another hour. Waiting isn't a problem however I'm not supposed to be around immunizations and they have a pediatric clinic on site also where many children were getting immunized. The office was also very warm and I get ill being in any kind of heat so I was getting sicker the longer I sat there. I was told that it would always be like that no matter what time I came for an appointment that he always runs really late. I think I'll be looking for a different doctor I don't care how good he is he's not that good if he can't run his office. He only has time for three patients he should only book three patients not 8. I had to find a new infusion center for my MS treatment and Monica was so helpful! There was a huge hiccup with my insurance and other things. Monica worked on my case daily to assure I can get my treatment in time. She was great with communication and follow ups. The staff here is very welcoming and nice also. The nurse got my iv in the first time. Comfortable environment and clean! Will definitely continue going here for any of my infusions! read more

Dr. Melamed may know about the immune system but he doesn't know how to run an office. They call you the day before to confirm your appointment and keep you waiting for a long time. This is the second time I've complained and I will now be going to another doctor. I waited an hour and a half today. The doctor explained that some cases are complicated and that he needed to spend extra time with them. I told him I understood that and that he needed to build that into his schedule. His practice is a dinosaur. Doctors today know they need to take care of patients in a reasonable amount of time. This office has the gall to have a sign over the reception desk about how they care and respect the patient. BS. if they did, they wouldn't keep patients waiting that long. The receptionist told me they have lots of complaints about this. I also have seen many staff walking around or talking to each other, not helping patients and wondering what they were doing. Dr. Melamed recommended a type of infusion therapy that he says he's been doing for 40 years. At first he said I would have to have it once a month. Several months later I was told it would be every three weeks and I might feel sick for 24 - 48 hours after therapy. I said it sounded like chemotherapy. Before I begin this type of therapy, I would like to get a second opinion and would like to know his success rate and speak to some patients who have had it. I think he was insulted but never answered my question about his success rate. He just told me that people from all over the country fly in to see him. I'm sure there are other doctors in the Denver area that are just as qualified and have more respect for their patients. I'm going to find one. An update, I just thought of today. Whenever they were supposed to call the pharmacy or call me back about something, it never happened. I always had to follow up with them. What a pain. As I said before, there was a huge staff always walking around and/or talking to each other. I wonder what they were doing. read more

The doctors are great but the way they schedule the day is atrocious. No respect for patient time. I understand their time is valuable but the patients time is equally important. I dread when I have an actual appointment because I have to block out several hours of my day. It shouldn't be that way. On the days I come in just for an allergy shot I am in and out. Maybe they could stagger the schedule or allow more time per patient. I know the front desk is only doing what the doctors want but I truly think they need to revisit how they schedule. I'm sharing my detailed review of my experiences at this office, in hopes of saving others the disrespect this practice demonstrates. I had an unacceptable experience at the IMMUNOe office on Yosemite on Thurs. March 2, 2018. It appears Dr. Melamed had a conference scheduled for weeks, and had to leave for the airport on this day, yet nobody bothered to cancel or notify any patients that were scheduled the afternoon of 3/2. Consequently, I spent nearly 3 hours of my afternoon at the office in total; over 2 hours of this was waiting! Waiting.... just sitting around, being stared at by tje staff, clueless that I wasn't going to be seen by the Dr. I left work at 2:00, arrived for my scheduled 2:30 pm appointment, on time. I waited in the waiting room until 3:30, at which time I was taken back to an exam room (nurse was apologetic for the wait, seemed a bit embarrassed, but still no mention that I had been waiting for nothing). I waited in that exam room for yet another hour, until 4:40, at which time Dr. Melamed's Physician Assistant showed up. She was extremely sympathetic and apologetic about the wait, and explained that Dr. Melamed wasn't available to go over my questions and blood work. She went over what she could and I left the office at 5:00. I later learned that Dr. Melamed had left the building at 3:15 pm, AFTER I had shown up for my 2:30 appointment, but nobody bothered to mention this to me. He probably walked right past me in the waiting room, knowing I was there to be seen by him. I even politely asked the staff twice at the desk if they knew approximately how much longer the Dr. would be. Both times I was quietly told, "you're next". I don't know if the fault lies with the Dr., the staff for keeping it "hush", the front desk employees who didn't bother to reschedule or notify me, or all of the above. Either way, the amount of disrespect shown for their patients and staff is truly unacceptable. I understand that this is a Specialist office visit, and I've come to accept the very long wait times I've encountered each time. But the fact that IMMUNOe would treat patients this way is extremely appalling and unforgivable. Not to mention, how hard this probably was for the nurses/PA's that were left to deal with the frustrated and upset patients. While the PA did a great job answering and explaining the majority of my questions, I still have questions for Dr. Melamed regarding prescriptions, my blood work, and diagnosis. I suppose I will never get the opportunity now to speak to him, as I don't plan to waste any more of my time at this office. I left work for 3 hours, had to make arrangements for someone else to pick my kids up, and ultimately, wasted 3 hours of my day. All because someone didn't take responsibility to make necessary arrangements, knowing the Dr. wouldn't be able to accommodate his afternoon appointments. I've been a patient here for over two years. Dr Melamed is a true outside the box thinker and has helped me so much! I've been diagnosed with several super rare immune and autoimmune disorders. He has discovered them much faster than other doctors usually do with patients that have these problems. I am so grateful to him and his staff for always listening to, and answering, the many questions I always have. When I was scheduled for a procedure they missed again. This put the physician in the unfortunate position of not having everything available . He was honest and apologetic each time. Today they scheduled me at the Centennial clinic. I live in North Boulder and have always gone to the Cherry Creek clinic. I did not realize he had two locations. The only reason I made it to the correct Clinic is due to the fact that I received an email last night that they moved up my appointment time. Clearly it was too late to cancel the appointment and I was able to enjoy an hour and 45 minutes in traffic this morning. Dr Melamed literally saved my life. I was sent to him after coming up with what we thought was IgA def from my rheumtologist's office. I have been collecting auto immune diseases for 25 yrs and he finally diagnosed (after decades of sinus, strep, etc) that I have CVID! I brought my 24 yo daughter in (she also has Lupus,etc) and he determined that she has SAD (Specific Antibody Deficiency). Despite being at children's, good pediatricians everyone missed this! The ONLY problem is that the paperwork runs at a glacial pace -but once you get access to the portal just copy and send to your GP/specialists. SOMETIMES there is a long wait. But here is the drill -Dr M has NEVER rushed me. And if he's running late I assume someone really sick is in there and needs extra time. Bring a book, knitting, whatever because he won't rush anyone. Sometimes he's got very sick kids/ adults and they need extra time. Wouldn't you want that if you were frightened? Once I waited 2 hrs and when I saw him he spent the normal amount of time with me, didn't rush me, was as always kind and brilliant. But I am ok with that. I'd rather wait to see Dr M than see someone else on time that was clueless. He does a LOT of research, is one of the ONLY MD's in Co that routinely runs Lyme tests (MD's in CO just don't) and my daughter came up positive. Everyone is kind and helpful. They have their own infusion clinic (very state of the art) but I am now doing SCIG at home. They trained me, have a home health agency on site to help you (they are available 24/7 for any questions if you infuse at home). If you read the reviews they mostly say Dr M is brilliant but the waiting is a pain. So expect to wait (BRING SOMETHING TO DO. I bring knitting, a book, they offer wifi and they have cable, but just expect he will run late then you won't be angry) but know that the wait is so worth it. This man and his team are brilliant. They know so much about Immunodeficiency, autoimmune diseases, are doing research on Autism, I think MS and other things. He's also brought in a GP and there are rumors he might convince a neuro to come in. I go to the office on Yosemite (bc that's where Dr M goes). ALSO like all specialists it takes a few months to get in - ask for Dr M! I don't know the other docs...but I know he is a rock star! Also Carly, Heather (Both PA's), Allyssa and Page (RN/MA) are caring, funny and kind. They have a lab at the site -also offer allergy testing/shots. You won't find anyone better -honest. read more

Dr. Melamed is quite intelligent. However after 5 years of treatment I have come to a standstill. He continues to ask the same questions, and he runs labs that he never explains to me. He mostly talks to his scribe and not me during my appointment. I have seen many nurses and office staff turn over during the years in frustration with his ever changing moods. This really bums me out to write as I have been a patient of Dr. Melameds for over 20 years. He has always been someone who runs late but it has gotten so bad and the turnover of nursing staff who are either so short staffed they can't give everyone attention or too green is really bad. The amount of times I have to tell different nurses that my pharmacy changed 3 years ago when I moved sucks. That said they know I live on the East Coast now and it is already nearly impossible to get an appointment with melamed but I set up a tele-appointment 2 months in advance and get a call saying he is running an hour late from my original appointment time and to stay in the zoom waiting room or I might be skipped well this doesn't work as I have another appointment to attend and they say the next appointment they can get me is in December!!! I ask if we can get an appointment in at all for the following day and I will make it work sure enough they can but I get again a call today saying he is running 30 mins late and to stay in the waiting room. Suffice to say if you value your time go elsewhere as things have really gone downhill here between these wait times for only 5 min appointments and impossible scheduling to the recommendation constantly of expensive products and referrals that insurance won't cover. read more

I had an appointment scheduled with Isaac Melamed. Per my doctor's recommendation he was recommended. I made the appointment 2 month ago and waited patiently for my appointment. I never received a confirmation for the appointment even with calling a couple weeks earlier to confirm it. No one ever asked me for my phone or even an email address to confirmed it. I called on the day of the appointment to see why I had not received a call back or reminder call. They said they could not contact me because they had the wrong number and no email, and the doctor isn't in the office today anyways. I will have to wait 2 more months for an appointment with said doctor. Maybe Isaac Melamed would not be so exclusive if he wasn't too busy making his dollars for doctors. My health and care was never a priority for Isaac Melamed or his staff. This is typical care I have come to expect from denial doctors in the disablism/ableism health system. I know my only option for help/care is to continue to request to be abused by the health system, Isaac Melamed and his staff. Isaac Melamed and his practice has shown that they are all talking puppets for a failed health system. If you are looking for Health and Care you should look elsewhere. read more

We got slammed with a $4,000 lab bill which they were supposed to help remedy with LabCorp with whom they claim they have a special relationship. Multiple calls to the office and to the doctors have led nowhere. Who runs a medical practice like this? Hopefully the BBB and the state's medical review board can help us resolve this. read more

I am so impressed with Immuno Health Center in Centennial. I was in constant pain for about two years and saw dozens of doctors who could not figure out what was wrong with me. My appointment with Immuno Health Center was my last hope. Dr. Melamed knew right away that he would be able to help me and diagnosed me with a rare disorder. Jennifer the receptionist is even worst when I called her to explain how Ben humiliated me . She jumped right on it telling me off , and that i was not listening to her and that she is trying to help me ? I wan't done telling her my part of the story ...... Helping me ! she was yelling and spitting out 1000 words a minute. Then she says its a protocol he has to ask every client , she was agitated , speaking with a high tone of voice, unprofessional. I liked the end of our conversation something happen or maybe someone came closer to her , her attitude changed dramatically, all sweet and nice . Jennifer and Ben you work for amazing Doctors maybe you should change your attitude from street to a professional level. DO NOT GO HERE! There are many other allergy specialists in the area who will actually respect you as a patient. I have been going here for 2 years, and EVERY time I leave having been there over 2 hours, with only talking to the dr or a nurse for a combined total of maybe 10 minutes. I have sat in the waiting room for over an hour to only to wait for an additional 45 mins to an hour in the exam room. No doctor office wait is worth that. They even tell you that they are double and triple booking you. We finally left for another practice in the area and feel so relieved to actually be treated like we matter. I do think Dr. Melamed knows his stuff and gets down to the root of the problem. We feel rushed to talk to him and most of his nursing staff is rude and unprofessional. I got a call from one of the staff saying that she wasn't sure which doctor I saw, but telling me my insurance accepted the allergy shots and I could come in and get those started if we wanted. This was all before they even got back to me about my results about any of my allergies, which I still have not been informed on. I have been billed however. One of my children saw Dr. Melamed for a couple years. We would go in every 6 months to wait for over an hour to be told "continue what you are doing and come back in 6 months", and then get a giant bill. It's a waste of time when you can get the same type of testing done elsewhere in an office that actually respects your time and you as a patient. Shame on me for staying for so long. read more
