The bus tour was ABSOLUTELY the number one thing I was looking forward to the most visiting Denver, as I'd done it a few years ago and had a BLAST! Sadly though, the company called me literally only an hour before and cancelled on me, as I was the only one that booked. Though I got a refund, all other tours around the city were of course booked by this point. So no tour, at all. They asked if I could do another day, but I'm a tourist, so, no? So disappointed. I paid nearly $200 for what was marketed as a premium cannabis tour for me and my wife. What we got instead was an overpriced, underwhelming scam wrapped in false advertising. The "bus" was actually a rickety, worn-down van that looked like it hadn't seen a tune-up since the Obama administration. Calling it transportation is generous--more like a rolling death trap with seats. As for hospitality, don't expect much. You get a bottle of water and a single bag of chips--how generous. And the so-called "pre-roll" they hype up? It's CBD, not even real cannabis. That's like going on a wine tour and being served grape juice. Laughable. The grow house stop could have been interesting--if you could see anything. The flower room was pitch black. Imagine spending good money to stare into darkness while being told to imagine what could've been there. What a joke. Then came the glassblowing "demonstration," which felt more like watching someone struggle through a YouTube tutorial in person. Zero flair, zero engagement. And to top it all off, they drag you to one of the most overpriced dispensaries in the region, as if you haven't already been robbed once. They proudly call themselves the "Original Cannabis Tour." I believe it--because everything about it feels ancient, outdated, and lazy. If this is the original, it should've stayed in the past where it belongs. This was so very very fun! I'd have happily given 5 stars if ac on bus was working. It was Hot. There were four of us in our group and one another couple, total 6 and our awesome guide Priscilla. There was a driver for the bus too. We started with glassblowing demo in a consumption friendly environment at their headquarters. It was a very informative demo and Eric made some great pieces for us. I love mine! We moved to bus to visit a grow warehouse, amazing glass gallery, and a couple of shops. Our guide knew her stuff and it was fun to hear her info, stories and enjoy happiness together. I plan to do this again next time I'm home. I'm also very interested in their cooking/making classes. This was great, I learned a lot and got exposed to some pretty cool places in Colorado cannabis industry. The tour guides were awesome. They were all very nice. The grow facility was awesome, got to smell some really nice flower. I learned a lot about the growing process. The pipe makers tour was also cool, I enjoyed it a lot. The glass blowers were very talented and had some really cool pieces. Then we visited some dispensaries. The cannabis bus that drives you around was super fun, first time getting hot boxed. Visiting from California, was very excited to experience my first cannabis tour while visiting CO. Decided to go with the 4.5hr tour Let me start by saying, the staff and tour guide King Kala, was awesome, super friendly and very informative. The bus driver however drove erratically, speeding through speed bumps, taking fast sharp turns, which killed the mood n vibe. Here's the quick breakdown of the tour: Visit 2 dispensaries, which includes 1 grow room, and a nice party on the bus, which is only as good as the group and you make it. Majority of the time was at the grow room, where the tour guide sped through his presentation. Then you'll have time to purchase some goodies before heading to the 2nd dispensary, then head back to the meeting spot for the glass blowing demonstration. Overall, coming from a state where I've been to many dispensaries, this tour was cool, but didn't feel like $79 worth. Yes the grow is cool, but it's too long, as there is a lot of downtime in between dispensaries. Bus needs some new music, good music can definitely help elevate vibe as well. I've always been taught, never show up to a party empty handed, so.... First Tip: BYOW - bring your own tree to enjoy throughout the tour. None is provided unless other tour guests want to share. 2nd: Eat beforehand or bring snacks with you because they only offer a 1 bag of chips or cookies for the entire tour. Their solution, order grub hub. Overall, I'd probably not take this tour again. For the price, I'd rather of spent that money in the dispensaries, pick up supply and go spend the time enjoying the scenery Denver has to offer. I booked a private tour with Trina and had the best time getting up close with the plants. Trina's wealth of knowledge is impressive to say least and her passion for the Mary jane is inspiring. Me and my girlfriends went on a quick trip to Denver. We knew we had to do something weed related. Being foodies, we decided to get a cannabis cooking class. This class met our expectations plus much more! Chef Roilty is freaking amazing. He's a great teacher, funny, and the food he made was delicious. He explained the decarb and infusing processes well. He made simple, but amazingly flavorful, dishes that I can easily replicate at home. He's very charismatic, so it made the class super fun. Love his stories!!! It's also interactive! We went on tour with Kolby, he was great and very informative. Our first stop was og medicinalis, grow house and dispensary. In growing house we spent less than 5 minutes. We took pictures of plants and that's it. I didn't go to dispensary, I saw menu online and in Denver are much better dispensary than that one. Second stop was the best, we visited Eric, glass blower, he showed us how he makes pipes. We watched him blowing glass and making pipe. What a RIP OFF!! Save your Money!!! People. First off, the video is False advertising. This is what sucked us in. It's a lie!! There are no freebies on this tour. You get a small bag of chips and are shuttled in a hotbox from dispensary to dispensary to spend lots of money. The "tour/presentation" lasted maybe 10 minutes. And guess what, stoned people have no interesting questions. At the end of the tour, everyone is stoned out of their mind and about $500 poorer after all the weed they bought and they tell you you can get a t-shirt if you leave an awesome google review, but you have to show it to them. People were so stoned and broke they were loving the T-shirt deal! Do yourselves a favor - get a lyft driver or a designated friend and have them drop you off at a few dispensaries then have plenty of money to spare for hotels and dinner! read more

EDIT: I've updated my rating based on a great response to my review by the owner. He informed me that they recently went through protocol changes and my tour seemed to fall in the midst of this. He addressed all of the concerns in my review, and I can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of service his business provides. I wish I would've spoken to him sooner! I hate that I can't write a good review for this place. We were scheduled for an 11 am tour and one hour before it started, we got a call that our tour was being cancelled and we'd have to select a different time. I was dumbfounded that they thought one hour in advance was enough. I thought 24 hours was customary. I scanned our tickets and found no disclaimer stating that there was a possibility of cancellation. Since we were on vacation, we didn't have much flexibility because we had booked other activities. We were never offered a refund or discount. They offered us a free painting class, but once again, we were too booked up. We were able to move things around to take a 2 pm tour. I pulled up the address on yelp because it was quicker to get to than my email. It's the wrong address, and because enough people make this mistake, they have fliers at that address with the correct location on it...which is 20 minutes away. As for the tour itself, the "expert" in the industry turned out to be less than that. I get that it's a pot tour, of course we are smoking. But if you're getting too stoned to do your job, maybe you shouldn't take 3 dabs in a row before smoking a joint and hitting a steam roller? She kept mixing up indica and sativa, and if she didn't know the answer to a question she would just laugh and make you feel like it was a dumb question. Most people seem to have had good experiences, so I'm sure this is an anomaly but it really disappointed me because I was so looking forward to it. I hope they figure out a better way to handle cancellations because I could've probably overlooked the other missteps if it didn't feel like one thing after another going wrong. read more

I really wish this tour would have worked out the way that it was supposed to. Wasn't worth the money. We were supposed to go to 1 dispensary and 2 excursions and we added one for extra. We did not even go to a dispensary. The first excursion was supposed to be a glass gallery, we get there and it is closed, which things happen so i get, but if we are paying over $700, I would assume everything would be already planned and set up. Mike, I'm guessing who is the owner, was rushing us the entire time and seemed to be having a bad day. He tried taking us to a place down the street, but it was so unprepared and unorganized the employees wouldn't let us go in. Our only one excursion worked out as planned. Then was the Church of Cannabis. We get there and the workers have no idea we are even going or even got tickets. We had to wait around for an extra 30 minutes until they figured it out. The whole trip was very unprofessional and unorganized. As soon after the light show gets done, Mike comes up to us and says we are out of time and he doesn't have time to take us anywhere else... BUT for an extra $100 he would take us really fast (his words) to see a growing plant. We all felt super rushed and even the tour guide said he's been a "shit show". As much as we paid, I feel as though it should have been organized and planned accordingly. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but not a good first impression and I dont think we will be back. UPDATE: I'm not even the first one this happened to if you look at the reviews underneath me. Regarding Michael, the owners comment, it seems like I have to tell more because he wants to lie to make himself look & feel better. Our "poor attitudes" was because we had enough of things not going the way it was supposed to be and also had enough of your poor attitude as well. First, they call us the night before around 8-9pm to ask us if we can switch the tour time from 3pm to 1pm because they were running behind and didn't want to make us feel rushed. Now, I don't see what the point was for changing times because he rushed us the entire time. Second, when I was on the phone with the booking agent, I asked to confirm if they handle the tickets to the Church of Cannabis and they said THEY handle it. Michael, feel free to listen back to that call for proof. This wasn't a "tour". Our tour guide was brand new. They didn't even know what restaurants was good to recommend. On the website, you are supposed to have a tour where you learn about the Colorado cannabis industry. We learned nothing. We rode around the majority of the time just smoking. I could have saved that money and we could have given ourselves a better tour. After you rushed us home, you didn't even talk to us like an adult. We called customer service & they offered us tickets to a Puff & Paint class. We had a bad day already so we figured we go to check it out. That even was a little better than the tour.... At the very end of the class Michael pops up and wants to apologize. He says that things weren't going as planned because HE was having a bad day. Well if that was the case, I would have much rather him cancel or reschedule. We were all having a great day until his attitude ruined it for everyone. He kept pestering us about giving us shirts after we keep saying no. Finally we just agree and tell him our sizes which was M&L. he comes back with 2XL's like he thought it was funny? I told him I didn't want a 50% credit as we are not going to use it or recommend anyone to use it. The travel agent gave us one excursion for free for my brothers birthday, but why would he come up to us at the end of the light show, say we are all out of time, but then say for an extra $100 he will take us to look at some plants behind the glass super quick. Shame on you Michael, if you are going to run a successful business, you do better. If people are spending over $800 for a tour, have the staff & accommodations for everyone and everything. Have it planned out. Get the tickets in advance like it was supposed to be. The lack of professionalism and organization needs to be better. read more

Came to Denver on vacation and booked my whole trip with CC Tours. The pick up service was great and I was very well accommodated by our driver/guide. I thought I was just going to be picked up and dropped off quick. Our guide asked if we'd like to stop at a dispensary and we were happy to agree. We got information about the city's history both cannabis and not cannabis related. Really cool. Once we got dropped off at our hotel the guide remembered to give me a complimentary vaporizer for our stay. We just finished the tour and it was great. Informative and fun guides! read more

You cannot smoke anything other than the CBD/THC prerolls and some low key gummies that they give you on this tour. We saw a wonderful glass rolling demo, visited a grow house for about 5 minutes then slid into some dispensaries and the tour was over. We got to meet some super cool people but if you are looking for a classic tourist information overload experience with tons of info, this is not it. If you are looking for a chill, laid back ride to some dispensaries, this is it! Puff and Paint - It is literally just following along with the artist doing the class. There is a built-in break to smoke in the tent, which can only be used for the provided pre-rolls. read more

After an extensive google search found just a few places that offered tours and this was one. I had some family in town that wanted to learn more about the industry so we decided to go for it. During COVID they are doing small groups of 10, however within those groups you cannot really social distance due to the size of the car. The tour begins with a glass blowing demonstration which was my absolute favorite part. All the workers including the glass blower and the tour guide were great! Extremely helpful and friendly. After glass blowing we got in this van which is blacked out entirely for privacy matters and has giant colorful screens inside of it were you are summoned to watch videos of weed inspired movies and other related footage while the van moves swiftly through traffic and an outdated playlist sets the mood. Almost like a very very long roller coasted you cannot get out of. The first stop is a grow operation were you see actual plants through a thick glass and this was also pretty cool. However, after this step there's a lot of riding in a dark van with roller coaster room vibes and going from dispensary to dispensary to purchase anything I may want weed related. That part of it got old very quick since most people in there are baked and have purchased way more than they need by the last stop. I have chosen to make my review less than perfect due to the lack of creativity in the tour itinerary but parts of it were still worth checking out. read more

Honestly, I have no idea why this is rated so highly. They took us to a grow house that wasn't very active. They apparently had moved the harvesting to another warehouse? Um, woulda been cool if you told us that beforehand to set expectations or took us somewhere else. They let us look at two rooms which had plants in the vegetative and flowering state. However, we could only peak into the room from the doorway and couldn't go any further than that. The dispensary was also kinda weak, and I know for a fact there are better ones Denver. They also took us to this store that sold fancy glass pipes, which was clearly a plug for that vendor. Cool that we're supporting local establishments, but also not really .. since everything was way too expensive (ranging from a few hundred bucks to the thousands) and we all ended up just walking around awkwardly for 30 minutes. Overall, not worth it IMO. Everyone on the tour collectively agreed that we were very disappointed. Somewhat informative, poorly organized, and did not live up to our expectations. We tried to purchase the intro to cooking with cannabis class on Sunday. The calls were some what weird and I became suspicious. I had to make serval attempts and call backs. Each time the call would appear to have dropped (recorded) and the rep would call me back and ask me for information then it dropped again. We never confirmed the purchase for the class, so disappointed. The weekend call center was not helpful and raised skepticism with the multiple drop calls and call backs. Oh, I do have Verizon. It was not my phone service, it was the redundancy of your wired not helpful recorded answering service. read more

Our first time in a legal state, so we figured we owed it to ourselves to check out a tour. We did the essential tour and had a blast. Our tour guide Alex is an awesome dude, super knowledgeable and disarmingly kind. We were part of a great group (which probably made a huge difference) - 9 people, so on the intimate side (which probably also made a huge difference). One thing that kinda bummed us out was the fact that we didn't get as much time as we would have hoped to browse the shops and chat with the staffers at each of the stops. We also had wanted to chill afterwards for a little and talk with Alex about some residual questions we had, but he had to hustle to get to the tour after ours. Overall though, great experience. Remember each experience will be different depending on the group you're with - it is what you make it. read more

This five star rating was definitely earned by Puff, Pass, & Paint! By far one of the best experiences that you will have...EVER! As soon as I found the event online, I KNEW that I HAD to check it out. They had me at painting and cannabis. :D I've always wished that this was "a thing" because I like painting in a social class setting, but I'd prefer to use cannabis instead of alcohol. I took the chance and signed up for a Puff, Pass, & Paint session. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted and told to sit wherever we wanted. It didn't feel awkward in any way and soon we were sharing cannabis with others around us. Despite the fact most of us were living the high life, everything was structured and taught in an organized manner. The instructions were very clear and at a reasonable pace for everyone to stay caught up. We were encouraged to paint our own creative masterpieces. It was such a beautiful thing to see how many different perceptions there were of the same image. I loved laughing, painting, smoking, and socializing with other laid back individuals. SO much fun! I've also attended the pottery class here. Jessa, the instructor, is such a lovey woman! She is very thorough with directions and such a joy to be around. I had so much fun working with the clay. Heidi, the owner, and all of the other instructors that I met thus far have been just wonderful! They are truly passionate about bringing light to the beauty of cannabis and creativity. My boyfriend and I are visiting from New Orleans, and came across this tour when we were looking for something to do. Omg, what a great decision that was! We went today (a Monday) and were the only 2 on the tour. The tour was on a party bus that we got to ourselves, and even got to control the music. We had a great time! We were provided with low THC gummies and pre-rolls, snacks, and bottled water. All was included in the admission price. The first place we stopped was a dispensary called Cookies that has an Apple store kind of vibe. The 2nd stop was at a glass blowing studio where we got to watch a glass blower create a pipe just for us. Then, we went to a grow facility, which was surreal but awesome to see. Finally, we stopped at a really cool glass art gallery. Our tour guide, Rob, was awesome. He was very cool and made the experience super fun for us.
