When we arrived the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortabe and we were greeted very nicely and with a smile. Dr. Hunter is wonderfully relaxing and has a wry sense of humor. He listens and does not make you feel rushed. It was obvious he cares about his patients as he spend quite a bit of time questioning my sister on her medical background. Dr. Hunter was very attentive to both of us and his eye contact was wonderful. We were able to schedule the actual procedure for the next day. Again the warm welcome up arrival and no waiting. When the procedure was finished, Dr. Hunter himself (not an assistant) came to get me and we went to recovery to discuss post operative care. My sister was relaxed in a recliner with a warm blanket; the only thing missing was a glass of wine! We were overly pleased and both of us agreed that a review was certainly in order as so many people are dentiphobes so it is important to know there are wonderful doctors out there who care and do an amazing job.

Associated Eyecare: - In 2025, I saw Dr. Pethe, who was wonderful, and who released my medical records to the portal like a normal doctor, immediately after my appointment, on the same day, with no follow-up required, and he printed out my new prescription for glasses - In 2026, this week, on Wed 9/9, first receptionist Noemi failed to call me to alert me that Dr. Pethe had left this practice (no wonder why!) *MONTHS AGO*. Instead, I found out during my 24-hour in advance reminder call, not the proper communication, but Noemi single handedly called me to "remind" me of my appointment with Dr. Maleeka Bokhari, who I had no idea who she was, or that Dr. Pethe had left the practice, and this wasn't even a proper communication of the *PROVIDER CHANGE*! This forced me to waste my time on Tue 9/8 calling back, to understand what was going on. Dr. Gersoff looked at the MRI and did other diagnoses that led him to believe that I had a small tear in my meniscus that was causing my pain. In addition, he patiently went over my entire MRI with me and explained exactly what it showed, remarkable! After my operation, I could walk long distances without pain. After listening to me he worked with me trying different options. When surgery was the next option Dr. Pingree made me feel incredibly comfortable about taking that step. Although the surgery was recent, I am confident Dr. Pingree has helped find the answer. He truly cares about his patients and does not follow the "status quo" so many doctors do. He had the most immediate opening which aligned with my timeline. Unfortunately he did have to inform me that I may need to look at hardware removal in the future, but I love a doctor who is transparent. His medical assistant Caley was also amazing. She checked my incisions and removed my stitches. While it was uncomfortable, it was still a great experience. They both have great bedside manners. Dr. Resig's timeline is different than the surgeon who did my surgery, as he will have me bear weight on my ankle sooner, but as daunting as it sounds, if I can get back on my feet sooner, I'll take it. My original timeline was non-weight bearing for the first 6 weeks, and this moves it up two weeks! I originally was going to go with a different doctor and office but their scheduler told me that they would want to see my X-rays, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get it in time for that appointment so I looked elsewhere and I'm glad I did because I was stressing out about it.
