I visited Dr Zyzda primarily to get my toenails cut because I'm getting old and my vision isn't so good. And I had some general questions about my feet. When I entered the office, the receptionist was very kind and friendly. The office was clean with comfortable seating. And my appointment was right on time. But the best was Dr Zyzda. He is very knowledgeable and kind, and he answered all my questions in simple terms that I could easily understand. And he did a beautiful job on my toenails! I highly recommend him! read more

About 8 or 9 years ago, I saw Dr. Zyzda abput my plantar fasciitis. He fitted me for orthotics, and I had no problems until my orthotics finally gave up the ghost and cracked--5 years beyond their life expectancy. They had completely eliminated my plantar fasciitis pain for those 8 years. I returned to his office for new orthotics but this time saw Dr. Stransky. She's smart, but she also has a great manner, patiently answering my questions and educating me about a minor foot injury I had. For my feet's sake, I hope I don't need to see her often. Dr.Zyzda performed surgery on both of my feet when I was 18. I received a bunionectomy as well as a lengthening of my Achilles' tendon. Dr.Zyzda did an amazing job! He was very compassionate and patient in explaining to my mom and I everything we need to know about the procedure. He made me feel secure and cared for. It has been roughly 5 years, and my feet have never been better. Before the surgery I had severely flat feet which caused hammer toes. Now, I am happy to say my feet look normal! Of course there are the scars, but my feet work like they should and my toes are spaced out evenly. Wow Stransky is terrible she left me with A staph inflection. She then proceeded to Lie about it. When I asked her why she Lied to me she got offended. I am left with The pain of her incompetence. Dr Z is no Better he sent me on my way saying nothing Is wrong. She told me she was done with me after I asked Her why she Lied. So she doesn't even try and Correct her mistakes. At my post op my foot Blew up bleeding. She kept telling me I could Tolerate pain so well. It was because my foot Felt dead. This practice is going to kill someone. I went to Colorado Podiatry recently to get an Ingrown Toe-nail removed. Dr. Olivia Stransky saw me and the procedure went okay. I was worried about the recovery and Dr. Stransky seemed like it wouldn't be a big deal a little arrogantly. I followed all of the recovery instructions but ended up getting a pretty bad infection, I called to follow up a number of times and never got a call back. I ended up having to see another doctor, I would not recommend this clinic. read more

I was looking for a 2nd opinion when I chose Colorado Podiatry office. A doctor who was willing to think outside the box, someone innovative. I tried a few more treatment recommendations and then we moved to shockwave therapy for my foot. It was the best decision I have made in a while. I was a skeptic but it worked and my doctor was the best! Besides great care from my doctor, the front office staff are very welcoming. They know me and it feels good to not just be another patient. Dr. Zyzda surgically repaired a Level 4 break of my calcaneus (heel). This is the most difficult Procedure that any doctor can do. I have to say that it was a 100% success! Dr. Zyzda's practice is great! Everyone was friendly and helpful, from the intro paperwork at the front desk to the nurse and Dr. Zyzda. The procedure went smoothly, though definitely an odd experience. One thing I'm certainly grateful for is how attentive Dr. Zyzda was to any potential discomfort, and used more anesthetic as needed. So nearly a year later and lots of P.T. and recovering from RSD because of the first surgery, I have just had my second surgery to fix the tear and the tendon and anchoring my toe back to where it's supposed to go. The office staff for Dr. Olivia Stranski is really bad. They act like they have never worked in an office before. Lost insurance forms, never answering the phones, slow to fax anything, just horrible customer service. Also, very expensive. $85 for a nail trim for my 90-year old aunt. Avoid this office. The podiatrist team here is great, very thorough and have the best care. They see a ton of messed up feet from hiking and snow sports. I have had multiple ingrown toenails and they always help me get back to business. read more

I needed to go see Dr Olivia today as I could not walk without excruciating foot pain. I didn't have an appointment when I called. The receptionist ask if she could call back. She called back in 5 minutes and said Olivia will see you now. That was 11am. At 3:30 pm, no pain! This place is incredible. I have been there 3 times in the past 4 years. What an incredible place! I would never recommend this place to anybody that has any type of foot problems. I wouldn't recommend it if you had a hangnail. The lady at the front desk is super nice. The one nurse sherry is an awesome lady. Dr Stransky was my doctor. It was supposed to be a simple reconstructed foot surgery. Then it was another surgery and another surgery. I believe she went to surgery happy on me. I no longer have a leg, because she did something wrong obviously. One time she was not there I saw Michael Z. the other doctor there he tried to tell me that I can't break or bend the metal. I had an CT scan done shortly after that showing that I broke a screw and moved an anchor. Wow you can tell these are really intelligent people at this place. Like I said I am now an amputee thanks to Colorado podiatry. Thank you! As much as I hate to say this I am more comfortable with my leg gone than I was after all five of my surgeries with her. That's pretty sad. If you're looking for a good responsible doctor try ortho one! I would almost do them if they didn't cover their butts with all that paperwork you have to sign just to be seen. If you are looking for podiatry care this is the last place you should turn. I'll start off with my first impression of the visit. The receptionist was one of the rudest people I've ever met. I was early for my appointment and approached the desk, she was texting on her phone and still did not acknowledge me even after I said hello. She handed me the forms I needed to fill out and I gave her my ID and insurance card. SHE THREW THEM BACK AT ME. So unprofessional and downright strange office etiquette. Then the doctor. I spent about 45 minutes in the room overhearing him make small talk with one of the nurses. He finally came in, basically told me nothing was wrong (even though I could barely walk from the pain in my foot) and prescribed me something. I asked if it was dangerous to take with alcohol or before driving. He says "Just don't take any heroin"........ the unprofessionalism in this office is cringeworthy. Then to top it off, the legal dispute I am about to have with this office. I was overcharged at my first visit, and my second visit the receptionist told me I'm free to go, not asking once for any payment. I start receiving threatening phone calls from reception about not paying, even though I sent in my itemized receipt from the overpaid first visit. I have gotten calls from multiple debt collectors who all laugh when I tell them what's going on with this place. Avoid avoid avoid, they should not be in business. read more

Dr Zyzda is a great physician/podiatrist and surgeon. He saved my foot. After long months to over a year of suffering with 3 fractured metatarsals with "other care" who did nothing; he operated to fix the fractures. With such delicate surgery on pencil thin bones you need a very very good surgeon. With Dr Zyzda you'll get that. His office staff are friendly and efficient. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get taken back for X-rays and a few minutes until he comes in exam room. I highly recommend Dr Zyzda. read more

Please did not do business with this company. They do not tell the truth. They give the answer that will get money in their pocket the quickest. They told me my claim had been denied. I would have to pay out of pocket. I called the insurance company to find out why, to fight it. I was told no claim had been filed. I called them back to get a copy of the denial and they said " We didn't REALLY file a claim, I just called and asked." I can fight a denial. I can't fight the air a phone call is written on. I called to make an appointment with Dr. Zyzda back in July, and got no answer. I got a call back a couple of days later and was able to schedule a consultation with Dr. Zyzda several weeks later. At the appointment, Dr. Zyzda was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was very pleased with Dr. Zyzda himself. I took a while to consider my options and seek a second opinion before deciding to have Dr. Zyzda perform the surgery he had recommended. I called to ask additional questions and schedule my surgery---again, no answer. I left two messages with the surgery scheduler and my calls were not returned for over a week. Finally today, someone called me as I was carrying two armloads of groceries in from my car. I was unable to answer, but I called back within 5 minutes. I was left on hold for 10 minutes or so, then I finally hung up. I realize that doctors are busy, but I am also very busy. I don't have time to sit around waiting for a discourteous office staff to return my calls. I have found a new podiatrist to perform my surgery. Again, Dr. Zyzda seemed great. I would recommend him. I went to Dr. Zyzda to correct a bunion that was causing me a lot of pain. I picked him specifically because of how active he is in the outdoors, and I felt that he would be my best bet in getting back outside hiking, biking and running. After having my last post-op I am happy to say that I am back doing what I love without any limitations from my bunion! The care received throughout my five months was superb. The front desk was efficient, the medical assistant was kind, and Dr. Zyzda was fantastic. Not to mention how helpful his surgery scheduler was in determining my financial responsibility before the procedure. I've had foot problems all my life cause mostly from the horrific types of shoes women have been forced to swear for most of their lives. The neuromas under the toes of each foot caused tremendous pain and numbing that went up the backs of my legs after about 1 block of walking. That, combined with a very damaged heel with spurs and plantar faciitis; and a baby toe that had been injured, made any kind of activity very painful. Just walking across the grocery store was a big painful endeavor. But,one very lucky day, I found Dr Zyzda as he was in my insurance plan and near my office. There are no words that can convey my gratitude to him for the quality of life I am now able to live, now that he's taken care of all 4 issues over the past few years. I went to a doctor about six months ago who told me I most likely had plantar fasciitis. He explained it was super common and not much could be done. As the months went by, it became worse, but I thought I just had to deal with it based on the prior doctor's words. I finally couldn't take it anymore and scheduled an appointment here. I was able to get in within a few days and I'm so glad I chose this office! Dr. Stransky is such an amazing doctor. She is very knowledgeable on the subject and made me aware that there are plenty of options far from just dealing with it. I ended up getting a steroid shot injected into my foot which is helping me so much! The whole office staff was so sweet to me and I appreciated that I was never left waiting for obnoxious periods of times, as I often find myself doing at other doctors. We came up with a game plan and I'm just so relieved to know I have options! I was referred to Dr. Zyzda through Concentra to access a possible workman's comp claims in relation to a foot injury associated with a bunion. On initial exam it was found that I would require bunion surgery with bone reconstruction in addition to torn ligament surgery. The office assisted in evaluating and determining health insurance and personal financial responsibility. I was always pre-notified of any impending costs prior to appointments to avoid any financial surprises. The office staff was always friendly and welcoming, and kept me well informed of upcoming appointments and medical care. I was under Dr. Zyzda's care for aprx. 5 months during which time I received excellent medical care. Dr. Zyzda always had a humorous, informative manner. The staff and Dr. Zyzda always allowed my husband to be included in any appointments/visits. I would highly recommend Dr. Zyzda for any foot care needs. As a matter of fact I have other future foot care matters that will need to be addressed and I will be returning to Colorado Podiatry for those needs.
