I recently took my mom to a routine foot care appointment with Dr. Raquel Litherland. I took time off work and drove her across town for the appointment. She has very thick toenails so we thought it would be best to have a podiatrist cut them. I didn't go with my mom into the appointment but could tell that she wasn't happy when we left. She said the doctor did a really bad job. When we got home I looked at them and couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was absolutely appalled at the job she did. It looked like a wild animal had chewed her nails off (see attached photo). I called the office to let them know about our experience. I was told they would pass the info on to management but they never reached out to us. I would definitely recommend going with another provider/doctor. read more

I got a notice that Table Mountain was having a special on laser nail fungus and made an appointment. Raquel Litherland was super explaining the process including there's only a 60% heal rate. I asked to have it done. While there asked the best way to cut my toenails, she cut them for me and I'm very satisfied, thank you! I have two of these instruments, but just can't seem to get it done myself. This is my go to foot and ankle clinic. This was my third visit and I've always been treated well by everyone! read more

Please stay far away from this practice. Dr. Lutherland is incompetent and did not perform the diagnostic tests to determine my foot issues or do a complete exam on my foot. Their billing practices are questionable and they clamed one of my procedures done by Lutherland was not covered by insurance. They came after me for charges and even after paying these charges, they still reported me to a credit agency. The front office receptionist was rude and did not make eye contact with me when I came for my appointment. Dr. Litherland is the BEST. I trust her implicitly. She has been my podiatrist for many years, and I would swim across any ocean, or crawl across any land to see her. I have a lot of medical issues, one of my more severe ones being CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome). It causes horrific pain in my foot. Dr. Litherland is the only doctor I've ever had who can handle my foot with the gentle care required not to cause additional pain for me. She has done 2 surgeries for me, which were complicated due to my CRPS. She made sure to take all necessary precautions and everything turned out perfectly. Having had foot surgery for bunions and hammertoes that were severe on both feet in 2014, they became deformed again from living in a toxic mold environment claimed uninhabitable. In 2021, I received a referral to a Dr. Scales now retired who referred me to Mountain Table Foot and Ankle. In constant pain with a gait abnormality causing falls and trips to the Emergency Room, I finally made it to Table Mountain Foot and Ankle 2 years later and was appointed Dr. Raquel Litherland. From that day I have been in excellent care since October of 2023. The ex rays noted severed arthritis, hammertoes left undone on my right foot and a pretty bad case of bunions once again with both feet. Orthotic inserts were provided as well as a referral to Physical Therapy, however my condition did not improve. Surgery was performed on 6/6/24 with the right foot, moving the Big Toe over and removal of hammertoes. I received a Cam Boot to walk in not crutches and was amazed at the progress to my feet and how little pain I was experiencing in that area in comparison to how I felt before. Healing is doing spectacular with stitches removed today and I will be walking in a regular shoe in 2 weeks! Dr. Litherland and the entire staff and team have been great and pleasant to work with. She is an extraordinary doctor who cares and does her craft well. I have been disabled since 2014, not able to work well due to my pain aside from my feet, however now I see a brighter future ahead with walking normally and being able to stand longer. I was disappointed with the care provided at Table Mountain. I felt the physician was rushing around and didn't take the time to actually listen to my concerns. I understand that the physician only has so much time and that this is a business, but I felt that I was another number. I also felt that my concerns were not taken seriously because I was a younger guy. The airbags in the stability boot broke multiple times and had to be replaced. Table mountain did cover the replacements. I am still experiencing pain and I've since started working with a group in Vail. The people at the front desk were nice, but I would not recommend Table Mountain as a whole. read more

If you are deaf and need an interpreter DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE! They are all about what's convenient for THEM. For example, they have this little IPAD or some sort of video that has an interpreter. They don't care. It's convenient for them to pull this out rather than taking the time to find an in-person sign language interpreter. They don't care about the law. All they care about is how to save money, YOU AS A DEAF PERSON ARE NOT A PRIORITY! MONEY IS! I emailed them back and forth and all they did was tell me they could not "find" my file. They asked me if my name changed. I told them if I changed my name they'd be the first to know. They didn't like that. That's not the answer they wanted. So they decide to look at my screenname of my email address and then tried to tell me my last name is "X" and I told them it's not. It's my screenname and that I don't want the whole world to know what my actual name is and that it's not a crime. They didn't like that, either. I can't tell you how many times I told them I wanted an in-person sign language interpreter. They kept trying to convince me that "it's just like having an in-person interpreter right in the room" and that not only infuriated me, but that was NOT TRUE! The thing about technology stuff is that they freeze, skip, or crash or a combination. THIS is why I preferred an in-person sign language interpreter. They try to fool the deaf with the law by convincing them that it's the easiest way to get it without having to wait for an in-person interpreter. It didn't take me much to figure out how they manage to do that. It's because most deaf are naive about ADA law. And now, they've met ME and they tried to pass me off as another oblivious deaf person. They argued with me back and forth on the email about not only the interpreter situation, but also about "finding" my files! Then, because I was "rude" and "abusive" they cancelled my appointment, and when I emailed them asking them for my files so I can go somewhere else, they IGNORED IT! Looks like I'll have to go right to them to get it. Listen, they ignore those who have accommodation requests, they shove pills down your throats instead of fixing the problems, and to toss it all up in a mixture, they make sure who is boss in the situation. The front office receptionist is very rude, we had an appointment for our 13 year old and when we showed up at 9:30am the front desk receptionist told us our appointment was cancelled because we were supposed to arrive 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork. We were never told to be 30 min early and after explaining to her that no one ever told us that she replied with "well I don't know what to tell you" with the worse attitude and treated us very poorly. Completely dissatisfied. Told I have a fracture in my ankle. Had recommendations, when they did not get done due to an injury, I was made to feel bad by Dr. V. I went to see and orthopedist, who finds NO fracture and advised I have serious issues in my ankles with failed repairs (not Table Mountains fault for the failed repairs, but not dx on this either) . My orthopedic specialist has ordered MRIs and we will discuss what kind of secondary repair will be needed. I felt like they did not take me seriously at Table Mountain. When I went in, I advised them, that is what I wanted, since I have ongoing issues. FAIL. read more

I first went to see Dr Dirlam because of extensor tendinitis, which, as it turns out, is because I have flat feet. Dr. Dirlam recommended custom inserts and STRETCHING. I can't understand the previous poor review - he was quite clear that 80-90% of my problems would be solved with proper stretching of my calves and using inserts, and he gave a handout on the stretches to do 2-3 times per day. I started out with OOB inserts, but then I switched to custom. Standard inserts were fine, for me, but they need to be replaced every 6 months, so custom is more cost effective, long term. I am not the best at stretching, and he suggested physical therapy. They worked on some additional exercises with me, but the stretching is still the most important thing to do. I will say that the combination of stretching and inserts has made a huge improvement in my life. A couple years later, I found that Dr Dirlam had moved on, so I made an appt with Dr Hurley to get a partial matrixectomy (sides of toenails removed due to ingrowns). She did a terrific job and was super fast, and I was probably a bit of a high-maintenance patient. I made the mistake of watching a video of the procedure, in advance. DON'T DO THAT. My stress level was so high, I needed extra shots of local anesthetic. It is now about 2 1/2 months later, and I wish I would have known about this procedure years and years ago. I came into this practice an absolute mess! I was a type 2 diabetic with an a1c of 12. I had for broken bones in my right foot and had developed a plantar ulcer with a cellulitis infection on my left. Dr Still literally saved my foot. Today I visited Dr Dirlam at their Lakewood location on Union. I was paying out of pocket since my insurance is with a managed carrier that was not able to see me soon enough and I was concerned with the price. Dr Dirlam took my ingrown nail off after numbing my toe and I was off to the pharmacy within minutes to get an antibiotic. The whole thing was really quick and easy and affordable. Anthony Valenti is confrontational, unethical, and a very poor physician. He intends to juice your insurance company for as much as he can by taking excessive x-rays and over-charging for orthopedic devices. He wanted to put me in a boot and when asked about the cost he said, "we just charge your insurance." Sadly at the time, I had not hit my deductible. His charge was $300. Amazon, same boot $70. He insisted I needed surgery without ever looking at my MRI images. I do not think that he can read an MRI. He simply read the radiologist report and said that I will need surgery. I then sought another opinion from an amazing physician who felt surgery was not close to necessary and walked me through my MRI. Lastly, the whole office is the most unorganized operation I have ever seen. The disconnect between the front desk and the so called doctors is really something to be admired. Customers beware, not customer service focused. The call you back for multiple follow ups and don't let you know how much your insurance covers. They tried billing the wrong insurance multiple times and when I finally did receive my bill it was past due! Due to their own mistakes. I tried to air my grievances and was told there is nothing they could do and wanted to immediately set me up on a payment plan that would auto bill me each month. Not the solution I was looking for. Had they billed the insurance correctly the first time I would have known the cost and chosen not to schedule follow up appointments. Some of the front office staff is oblivious to patients and constantly having inappropriate conversations and the rest seem like they hate being there...find another office, I know I won't be back. None of the treatments even solved my issues. Stretching and resting did the trick! Custom inserts are a joke. read more

I cannot recommend Dr. Still or his office. I took my child here and he was unable to fix a minor problem after three tries. His bedside manner was awful. When a procedure failed a couple times he acted angry and was baffled by why it didn't work. He kept implying that we may not have followed post-operative treatment correctly. All of this was unprofessional, especially with a kid. She felt he was mad at her. I don't know if my child is one of the rare people where a procedure fails three times (possible) or he is not good at what he does. Each time we did the procedure she had a much longer and more painful recovery than was estimated. She also got a dangerous infection. He seemed aggravated she was allergic to what they treat it with normally. I don't know if this is all horrible luck or not, but we are now off to another clinic for round 4 to try to fix her problem. His staff is incompetent and rude. I hope it was a staff error and not the doctor that called in a prescription for "one bottle" of a pain medication instead of a dosage and number of doses. By the time I got to the pharmacy the office was closed and they could not fill an order like that and had never seen anyone prescribe something in that way. Then they called the wrong type of antibiotic once and ordered a refill on the wrong one twice. When I called, once his assistant rudely insisted no one at office refilled anything because she would know. It had no refills, so I think they had to have. Post-op checks are not supposed to be an additional charge. Once they insisted it was even though I was pretty sure. It was incorrect and then they credited it. Another post-op Dr. Still even said there was no charge and the front desk still tried to force me to pay a co-pay even though I explained it again. I refused and said ask the doctor. read more

Do yourself a GREAT favor and get a second opinion BEFORE getting surgery by the doctors at Table Mountain. My incision broke open within days after removal of the stitches, then turned into a grave infection which I DIAGNOSED and brought to the attention of the doctor. The staff provided alternate wound salve after seeing the infection continue for weeks. Big clue - an intake nurse couldn't look me in the face because she knew the dr's ego was more important to him than asking for help in resolving the problem. DON'T BE FOOLED - this clinic is UNABLE and UNQUALIFIED to properly provide wound care as they advertise. I lost pay ($$$), incurred $$$$$ in hospital bills and ultimately had a 2nd surgery to rectify the mistakes caused by Table Mountain. Learn from my mistake - your health is at risk!! read more

Very happy with care provided by Dr. Dirlam for chronic plantar fasciitis. MRI showed significant tissue damage and bone spur. Dr Dirlam recommended non-invasive topaz with PRP procedure. Another surgeon I saw for 2nd opinion recommended opening the heel and performing a full plantar fascia release/bone spur removal surgery, said there was too much damage to be successful with just topaz/PRP. Went with Dr Dirlam and the less invasive route and at 3 months post-op I am back to normal every day walking without pain. Some soreness if I do extensive walking, but have been told I won't see full extent of recovery until 6 months post-op, but can say at the half way point I am very satisfied with recovery made so far. I also was kicked off my insurance, so I called to cancel my post-op appointment, they assured me that the approved was already covered as long as I didn't have any additional problems. I went to the appointment and double checked again that I wouldn't owe anything. Two weeks later I received a bill for x-rays. I called and they wouldn't waive the fees! I am an active woman in my mid 40's. I have suffered from Hallux Rigidus for over 10 years in both of my big toes (the cartilage in my big toe joints worn to the bone, making them unbendable and painful...bad toe genetics). The surgery went smoothly and perfectly, all COVID rules were strictly followed and I felt comforted by the level of professionalism and genuine confidence demonstrated by Dr. Valenti and his staff. My toe healed faster than I expected so I had my other toe done in June. The second toe healed even faster than the first one. I now feel little to no pain in my toes, they both BEND now, the scarring is fading quickly and I'm back to hiking the mountains I love and have missed so much! I might even be able to wear heels again (if I want to). I could not be happier with my surgeries, I feel young and strong again. I think it's important to mention that I traveled all the way from Estes Park to Table Mountain Foot and Ankle Clinic in Wheatridge (1.5 hours one way) for my pre and post opp appointments and surgeries, traveling for the right medical care is worth it to me. Will never go there again, no matter how much pain I'm in! They did NOTHING for me but charge me copays. I returned my old worn out Good Feet inserts for new ones and my feet feel great! To start with, the office girls told me that a copay is automatically generated whenever you walk through the door, it is up to the office people to waive the copay based on if you see the doctor or not. I've been getting charged copays ever since. I went in for foot pain and seen the doctor. He would say nothing, just rubbed my feet. I had to ask what I thought were all the right questions to get any answers. He said I needed a set of $550 inserts and that I needed to do some stretching. I asked what my options were and he said he could give me a shot instead, "...do you want that?". Never explained what kind of shot, what it would do, what to expect or anything like that. He never even told me what was wrong with my feet. Being in pain, and knowing how well my Good Feet inserts worked, I thought a custom insert would work better! I trusted the doctor and ordered the inserts. I was charged a $35 coypay, and rightfully so for that visit. I came back two weeks later and picked them up and the assistant fitted them to my shoes. I was told to wear them for two weeks and come back to see how they fit. When I returned they said I owed a $35 copay from the last visit for picking up the inserts! I argued that I will not pay just to pick them up as instructed. They were so kind they waived that one. On that visit the doctor wanted to see how the inserts were doing. They fit so bad that they were crippling me. He said wear them for another two weeks. Again I asked my options. This time he offered a shot or surgery. I asked about shoes and he gave me what looked like a black and white artists rendition of four different brands they sell there. He said if I see one I like he would order them for me, In the mean time just keep wearing the inserts and come back in two weeks. Now I am getting billed a copay for the instructed follow up visit for fitting. I called the billing office and the lady kindly explained their legal rights of charging copays and that there was nothing that I could do about it! They are a specialist rather than my regular doctor and they can charge a coypay for ANY visit that they choose! She then explained that she did not have the authorization to waive the copay and that she would have the doctor or office manager call me.... No phone call but I am still getting billed! I am just going to suck it up and pay it so it will not go on my credit. YOU WIN Table Mountain! I just hope that this review would keep at least one other customer from going there. I went here hoping to find some relief or some help with some of the pain I've been experiencing. I set up an appointment with Greg Still. I'd refer to him as a doctor if he in fact actually acted like one. His bedside manner was ATROCIOUS. He honestly made me feel like I was being lectured and scolded for the pain I was experiencing in my foot?!?! It was so strange. He never smiled, not once... And I WAS A NEW PATIENT! He also seemed to dodge every opportunity to give me an ACTUAL solution with a "well it's up to you if you want to try to do this, or if you wanted to do this other thing you could do that". I actually had to ask him if he was going to provide me with any help or just continue to give me vague options of what treatments are available "if I maybe wanted to see if i possibly wanted to try them". I'm being serious, I've never had a worse experience with a "Dr." Ever before in my life. I would never in a million years go back or recommend anyone to this place. Dr. Dirlam was very caring and attentive, and when he was unsure about a questionable situation he sought the help of the other doctors in the practice. Dr. Gregory Still was recommended to be because I was having issues following my 8 (EIGHT!) previous surgeries on my right foot. I live in Colorado Springs but it was well worth going to Denver to have him treat me. Because of all the scar tissue and nerve damage, I had been in pain for several years. He consulted with other special podiatrists and came up with the best plan. I wasn't looking forward to another surgery, but was actually excited about the prospect of ending or at least reducing my constant pain. His surgery involved cutting two nerves in my foot and I am now seeing some positive results. He was caring and even called "after hours" to see how I was doing. I only wish my doctor here in town had recommended him years ago. I would highly recommend him. read more
