Was expecting Sal's employees to do the work. 2. Project started with power washing the house during which some sidding was torn off the house. The sidding on the house is cedar. Sal took the cost and materials to repair the siding off the bill. 3. Day 2 half the house was scrapped, bear spots primed and painted. 52 minutes later it started to rain, hard. Been painting my differant houses for 30+ years and know that rain effects fresh paint. Was told don't worry it should have dried before the rain. 4. Day 3 the rest of the house was painted and the siding repaired and a rotted window sill replaced. The painters were good and waited a couple of hours for the house to dry before painting. 5. Later found that an entire side of my brick chimney that runs up the outside of my home had a fair amount of over spray on it. And the kicker, Sal was in a rush to collect payment stopping by to pick up a check not wanting it to be mailed. I also got dunning emails from his online payment system the day after the check was cashed. Got the sense that the company was more interested in time to money than quality of work. Quoted 5 to 6 day job done in 2.5 days. Highly doubtful that I would ever hire this company again.

They were very meticulous in making sure our furniture was covered and when finished painting everything was put back as it was. Everyday they arrived promptly at 8:00AM and left at 5:00PM. Our condo was painted with two coats of paint to the walls. They also did our ceilings and trim. Also our kitchen cabinets were removed to be prepped and painted. Once done they put back the cabinet doors. We can't express enough the wonderful job Harley and his crew did. They were the nicest gentlemen. Understanding that businesses are extremely behind in work I did not fault them for not starting around the time that they stated they would. My quote included pressure wash of the entire house exterior and one of two decks as well as deck stain and paint trim (to trim that was wood). We conversed with each other to verify colors. I reached out to inform them that the deck was not pressure washed. They gave me a response indicating when it might get done. My deck was NEVER pressure washed prior to the stain application. I'm sure this must play into the fact that there are areas that are not evenly stained (or brush vs sprayer??). They specifically asked me for the color of my trim. I informed them that it was an off white/cream color. They stated they would color match. Not only was the metal on my house painted (which I did not want to have happened) but it was painted stark white! Additionally they did not paint ALL of the metal trim. The trim along the top edge on every side was not done. Which, if it was the correct color, wouldn't matter but because it isn't, it stands out like a sore thumb. There was damage to the trim around one of my second floor windows. The strapping along side the fireplace was also not replaced even after I raised this as an issue. The amount of paint chips that were left following the house being pressure washed was outrageous! If I had known that this was going to happen, I may have been able to prepare more appropriately. I have damaged plants; burnt grass from paint on my lawn, random rags left behind etc. The list continues. While the painting itself was done well; all of these other factors have overshadowed the good work. It would have been nice for someone to check in when the job was complete to ensure we were satisfied. None of this happened. I can not provide a positive review nor do I feel comfortable recommending this business to others moving forward. I emailed them to articulate my concerns and I received no response.

I haven't enough words to adequately recommend Paul Dauteuil and his crew. They painted the…read moreexterior of my house several years ago. My wife and I were very pleased, so after a kitchen remodel, I contacted Paul to see if he could paint the areas affected by the remodel, as well as the ceiling. Time was of the essence, as my wife was *very* pregnant, and due at the beginning of the next month. Paul was - as always - very responsive, got me a quote, and arranged to have the painting done by mid-month. This was much appreciated, especially since my wife delivered several weeks early. But Paul was not done with us yet: I took down some curtains in the main room that I had had painted. As a consequence some of the wall and some of the ceiling needed to be repainted. I contacted Paul, to ask what ceiling paint he had used (so I could match it). Next thing I knew, Paul and his brother were at my door, painting the ceiling for me and matching the paint on the walls. Paul even swept the floor, probably leaving the house cleaner than how he found it. Even then, however, Paul wasn't done with us. Earlier this week, I contacted Paul to get some help matching the paint he used on the exterior after having some work done on the house. He could have just e-mailed me a quick response; instead, he stopped by the house this morning with a can of paint, confirmed it still matched the house, and gave it to me. Can't say how much I appreciated the gesture - which is, as far as I can tell, par for the course with Paul. I've worked with a lot of contractors over the least 10 years or so. None of them left such a good impression on me as Paul.
