So glad we found this place first. My son's take on it, was just as pleased as mine. He walked out with a big smile and tons of confidence. He was really happy the instructors spent so much time grooming his technique. They gave him a lot of attention and still made sure they were assisting all students. He can't wait to go back. He is so knowledgeable about anatomy and all of the different systems that work together in producing optimum health, he's always learning more and incorporating it into what I need. He's super creative with different workouts, it never gets stale or old with Sal, he changes it up often while still keeping track of my progress. Sal is one of the most enthusiastic people I have ever met- which is really helpful when I'm in the thick of it and want to give up.. He never lets me! He is also really supportive- checks in often about how I'm feeling and if there is any minor tweak during training, he remembers to ask about it and makes sure to modify during the next session. Sal is hands down awesome at what he does. I highly recommend him.

The only minus is sharing the waiting area with certain parents , who are inconsiderate to say the least.They created their posterity now the whole world is considered their fenced back yard.I mean being a parent myself I understand it is not possible to control your child's every move, but if your son has been hitting the back of my chair for 25 minutes out of 30 that I sat here, while you were gossiping out loud with your significant other are you even trying ? I mean I also came here to watch my kid primarily, but I can at least imitate some polite interest in others.One lady lets her daughters roam all over the place while she watches her phone.I mean your kid licks the pole ? Not a biggie to you ? Ok , but when your kid throws up on a floor that is not cute in my book.What about when your bigger daughter dances all over the place and steps on my toes few times ? I keep coming back to him because I've never had so much fun getting my own butt kicked! Chuck has 20 years of experience training, mixing martial arts techniques with boxing and weight training. All the while he tells jokes and stories in his Irish accent, ensuring that I never get bored! His habit of storytelling also helps me get through the high weight reps without counting, so I never feel like giving up. Currently I train with Chuck at the Burbank Athletic Club, but he's been willing to travel to several different gyms over the years, and even to my house for an extra fee. If you're serious about increasing your strength and endurance, or even just in leaning out, I can't recommend him enough!!!
