The guy who was working was very helpful and I love that all the safety stuff and practice happens before your time starts! Had a group for a birthday get together and really enjoyed trying the different games and the whole setup they have, we brought some snacks and I think it's smart to not have alcoho. On our recent visit to Pocatello, we asked Yelp for suggestions for what to do for a family activity. Herbert Hatchets was one of the suggestions and we decided to give them a try. We walked in without an appointment and they gave us instructions. We had an hour of fun! We especially liked the different scoring ideas on the wall for extra added fun. My kids took me here for Father's Day and I must say it was a great present I learned with great safety how throw great axe. It was so fun and the introduction had me throwing good in no time. This was seriously the best time! The staff was well informed and very helpful and the different game ideas were fun!! An hour was plenty of time for our group of 5 and we all had loads of fun. I would definitely reccomend and cant wait to do it again. read more

This is an really fun place, and anyone and everyone can do this. It takes some practice, but throwing hatchets is completely doable and cool! Give it a try! And there's lots of different games to try with the hatchets. read more
