When I call, they're always there with an answer. If you're building something with LEDs, check these guys out. The only negatives: Custom orders can be delayed and they could do a better job of passing that info on. Getting a delivery with missing parts and a "B/O" scrawled on the packing slip is a let down. And quantity discounts aren't much of a discount, but they know their costs way better than I do so maybe it's all they can do. I like them, I buy from them, and I'm going to keep buying from them in the future.

They also have some pretty cool furniture and interesting Vermont themed decorations. Not to mention, they have the lamp converters for growlers, and who loves growlers more than people in Vermont? Before you head to a big box to pick out a lamp that will last you six months, go here and get something beautiful that will last a long time.

We never got that from them. 2. The crew would start work at around 9 - 9:30 am, take a break around 10:30, leave for lunch at noonish, come back around 1:30 and leave around 3:30 pm. I would guess they put in an average of 4 to 5 hrs a day. The job took 29 days to complete. Our roof is not a complicated one! 3. My husband commented they were the "quietest" roofer ever. Bang...wait 30 seconds, then Bang...wait 30 seconds. You get the idea. 4. The crew smoked cigarettes like choo choo trains. It must be hard to hold a cig and hold a roofing hammer, and place a shingle. They did do a good job of cleaning up their cig butts. 5. The crew size and personnel would change as well. There was one guy who showed up for a day or two and he had a disability that prevented him from climbing a ladder. What!? 6. The owner and the crew always had an excuse as to why they could not put in a full 8 hr work day. 7. Because they were so slow, they came in and worked a few Saturdays. One Saturday when we were gone, a crew member was dropped off and never picked up by his supervisor. He had to ask a neighbor for a ride home. 8. You could never reach the owner by phone. Only phone messages. That in a nutshell is my experience with Roof Over Vermont.

One star for their lack of communication, no schedule for service (so we're at the whim of theirs)…read morethat ended in them refusing all future service. I called to get our hot tub removed for disposal on June 10th, and said anytime after the 13th, and the best way to get it was on the left side of the house. Whoever I spoke to was pleasant. I didn't hear from them until mid June when they said they'd tried to call me multiple times- said they tried to get it but there was some water in it and couldn't access it from the driveway, even though I had told them to access it from the other side. I only had one missed call from them, and had no messages. I know my phone was working because I had calls from other people during that time. I apologized for the water as I didn't think of it, and gave them my work number since I don't have service when I'm at work. Later saw I had a missed call from them because I was at work-never got a call from my work phone (why else would I give my work number if not to call it?) And they left no voicemail. Called again the end of June to see when they'd get it, and they said 'next week' the week of June 29th. Never got a call and never saw them. The pool was covered with a tarp the whole week, but we left for vacation that weekend. On vacation saw a missed call and voicemail that they'd pick it up that Tuesday the 8th, only to get back home and it was still there-because the tarp had come undone on a corner and there was some more water in it (maybe a gallon?) Left another message the week of July 14th explaining and asking for an update. Never got a call. Had my husband call on July 26 (a month and a half later from the first call) which they told him they were refusing any future service because of my lack of communication and unreturned messages. They also said they knocked for 7 minutes on the door at 7am with the dogs barking and a car in the driveway-which must've been when we were on VACATION-and the house sitters car. Why wouldn't you call at that point? Or if no one comes to the door with the dogs barking maybe assume we're not home-and give us a call?

You will need an electrician, and patio -- and they will not help you coordinate with those people. The sales team was lack luster and completely uninterested once they had my $20,000. They will not help you make sure that specs and directions are thought out or considered. It may be that your ridiculously expensive hot tub is facing the wall of your house, with the cover blocking the view. Also, the head of delivery interrupted me, talked over me, yelled at me, hung up on me then told someone else not to connect me with the manager. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They will take your money and will not stand by their work.
