Spent over 4k here on genuine parts and these fine people didn't live any of the parts so 1 month later this thing is squealing and would not go into 4wd. Contacted me about a used transmission i had for sale. I was very informative in my description and what vehicle it came out of. They had me load it and bring it to thier shop and once i was there the looked and said it isnt going to fit the vehicle they were trying to install it in. I wouldnt trust these guys if they cant even tell the difference between transmissions. Didnt even offer me anything for wasting my time. I would avoid doing bussiness with them if they wont stand behind what they say. read more

if there was a zero I would put one my car to had the transmission replace with a brand new one that one since I got it back was having shifting problems so then I took it back to the to fix sat for 2 months and then the "fixed" it and now it's having the same problem gonna need to go to court to get money back or get it fixed the right way because this is to much read more

I brought the car in to fix a transmission. They called and said it was complete. I got there and the transmission was complete but alignment was off they took another hour to fix the alignment. Honestly kinda mad cause I live far but the manager was very friendly. read more

Zero star: Quick to say my vehicle had a transmission problem. They checked it with the machine, no code popped up. Told them the problem I was having. They drove it said yeah it's the transmission. Got my vehicle a week later, with the same problem. Went back to let them know. Basically told me I'm the one that lost out with the money spent but at least I have a year warranty on a transmission. Took my van here because it was leaking transmission oil from a rebuild done at the owners other location in Ontario. After being told different days that my van would be done it was finally done over a week later. 8 days they had it and I would of been fine with that if they only told me up front. Picked up my van drove it from colton to Ontario pulled over looked under the van and it was leaking more than before not sure if anything was done..A warranty means nothing if you keep having to take the car to the shop.. read more

Recently used the servive here at Colton Transmissions and I am extremly impressed by the service I recieved. The vehicle they serviced was an '06 Buick Rendezvous AWD vehicle my trans failed and they did an amazing job rebuilding it. Worst place to deal with! Took my truck to COLTON TRANSMISSION cause I broke down on 10fwy. Told AAA take me there. First they do not open at 7am as advertised, I had an appointment at another shop that day that offered a 12 month warranty. I waited til shop opened asked how much to replace tranny He said $2800. I said ok do it. 3 days later I picked up on Friday after work, Come Monday driving to work in Hollywood about 168 miles from home. I barley made it, I called shop he Had paid to tow truck to shop. They had to replace transmission because the did not check trans cooler. It needed replacing, shop replaced trans BUT F'd up my exhaust system by using some others nuts and stripped all treads on bolts. and the DRAMA got worst. Shop owner lied he was on a trip for 2 mo. I thought he is not going to trust his monkeys with his shop. Shop offers a 6 month warranty and it was 6 mo. to the day i was taking him to small claims but I didnt think he would pay if I won. His text back to me said warranty is over, thank you. It took me 2 mo. on my free time to repair the exhaust. Don't get any work done there. They specialize in transmissions and probably Taco's too. Guy was a jerk off. read more

Took my car to go get a transmission replaced it took them a week to do which was fine with me because I understand that they have other cars to attend to before I took my car NO lights were on the cars dashboard except for the airbag light. For example It makes it weird because if you take a car to a mechanic shop to get an oil change and comeback with a check engine light you would think it had to do something with the mechanic. so when I take it to them Danny is very helpful and a cool dude to talk to when you have a question or need help it's also good that they give you 1 year warranty but the part that gives this place a not so good review is the lights on my dashboard that were not there before when I talked to Danny about it he says that those may be there because the mechanic took off the wheels to get to the transmission (remember this for the future) so I go on one of my days off to get the lights cleared and they clear them but turn on again. I expect it's a sensor that has to do with the tire and they tell me the same thing. So when I take it in the next day to get it inspected but this time the business owner was there and told me that it had to do with the break sensor maybe getting dirty and that they had nothing to do with it. This made no sense to me because he was pointing at the brakes. Wouldn't they have something to do with it since they took off the wheel so they were messing around in that area of the wheel where the sensor was at? I stayed quiet and was not going to argue so then after they try to refer me a brake place to go check out that sensor but I will not do that because that's extra money for a sensor and for the brake place to inspect it. I rather just clean or replace the sensor myself which I will have to do because the business owner says that they had nothing to do with the lights being on in the car. read more
