I'm an IT professional, but I had an older laptop I just could not get booted up. Figured it needed to be reloaded, but didn't want to take the time myself. When I pulled up to the Columbia Computer Center, I was surprised at all of the cars and customers in the place! They had plenty of staff and I was helped as soon as I got in the door. I explained the issue, paid a $25 deposit, gave them my contact info and left. The next day they called to let me know that it did need reloaded and gave me several options. Since I had already replaced the computer, I chose the option to sell the shell and have them put the hard drive in an enclosure (accessible with a USB). They just charged me the original $25 deposit and gave me what I thought was a fair price for the laptop shell. So, I went in with a useless computer, that had data I needed. I came out with the data and some cash in my pocket! On top of that, all of the staff I spoke with were professional and friendly. They peddle hardware at insane markup, would not recommend. $530 for a Optiplex 5070, 16GB DDR4 and a 256 SSD/Nvme. the license is probably a KMS key that will go invalid. read more

I got a great laptop from there. They replaced the hard drive and disk.. Im not exactly sure whats its called but it runs super fast and is better protected against drops and hard impacts. Came with malware protection. Hard drive had 2 year warranty and laptop has a year warranty. I don't know much about tech but the man loves his job and wants you to have a good computer. Man... These guys are THE BEST! I've used them for issues with my personal computers in the past, but they have been SUPER CLUTCH for me when it comes to helping me with issues with computers at my business. I brought my computer up there last month, they charged me $75 and told me everything was fine, and it booted up just fine. Got it home, everything was NOT fine, still same issues and video card was not working anymore either. Took it to another place, they ran a diagnostic on it for FREE. Came back as a bad motherboard, RMA'd it back, the manufacturer said "Bad motherboard" and replaced it. I've had good experiences there before, but they ripped me off the last time i was there, i now go somewhere else read more

Ok this guys when they talk they sound nice and honest but they are not I gave them my Loptop they told me to repair it in one or two days three weeks later they fix it ok they say told they put brand new parts which is absolutely lie mine was much newer and they charge me $153.00. This is by far the best computer service available in Mid-Missouri. Not only is it a great way to support local businesses but it is also a better more personal experience than the big name corporate stores! I never take out the time to write online reviews, but my husband and I were so impressed with the service at Columbia Computer Center that I felt I just had to do it. Our desktop computer was running slowly, so we decided to take it to Columbia Computer Center for a general check up and clean up. We met with Zach who was very professional and knowledgeable. We dropped it off at the end of one day and Zach called the next morning. He said he cleaned it up, but it really needed the hard drive replaced. We told him to go ahead and replace it after he gave us a very reasonable price. He ordered the part which came in the next day and he had the computer done by the end of the day. Everything is running great now and very fast! We will only use Columbia Computer Center for all of our computer needs. Oh, and we also found out that they fix iPhones and tablets too!
