The battery in my I-phone was shot. I kept putting off replacing the battery because I thought I needed to go an Apple Store, and the closest ones to Columbia are inconveniently far away (St. Louis or Kansas City). Finally and, frankly, a little reluctantly, I decided to try and have the battery replaced locally. The problem with using Yelp to find a reliable provider in Columbia, MO is most providers have less than 30 reviews. So. I decided to roll the dice and take a chance with iGenie Repair. As it turns out, there was no need to worry. iGenie did an excellent job, replacing the battery in less than 10 minutes while I waited. If I would have known earlier their service was this good, this convenient, and this high a value, well, it would have saved me walking around with for over a year with an iPhone with a sucky battery. Wish I would have come here much sooner. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is they need to update their prices on their website. Bottom line. My advice? Given them a call to get a current price for the service you need and, then, give them a shot. I think, like me, you will be glad you did and gratified you didn't have to spend much more time, money, and effort going to an Apple Store. read more

I have used iGenie Repair multiple times on multiple phones. I mean, you would think the manufactures would make these things bulletproof by now... Anyway, I most recently took my iPhone 6 Plus to iGenie Repair to have the screen replaced. I checked on the pricing and was pleasantly surprised to see it went down, yay. I was able to walk in and have my phone back within 20 minutes. There were a couple hiccups with the replacement screen but that wasn't something typical or iGenie's fault in any way. They worked with me to get everything fixed and again, I had my phone back in 20 minutes. They kept me up to date with the progress via e-tickets and both guys I worked with were super professional and cool. iGenie Repair came in clutch! My work laptop screen unexpectedly stopped working and I was in a time crunch for a fix. I found iGenie and they could not have been more helpful! I brought my laptop in right before closing and Justin said he would look at it that night (after business hours) and also check their warehouse to see if they already had the part he would need to fix it. Amazing service. I rang around all the places I could find in Columbia for an iPhone screen repair and iGenie was by far the most professional and quality service in town. Whilst it wasn't the cheapest (by $30) it was worth the extra $30 for the quality and level of service knowing the job was done right and there wouldn't be any repercussions from it like I'd heard with other iPhone repair shops in Como. Also the worker was beyond helpful and even stayed on extra 30mins after closing just to help fit my schedule. I was paying AT&T insurance for my iPhone but found out there was a $167 deductible to use it to get my cracked screen fixed. Plus, they would have sent me someone else's refurbished phone in exchange. It cost less to get it fixed here. I dropped it off at lunch time and picked up the repaired item after work. Had a broken iPhone screen and they made getting it fixed quick and painless

I went to get my cracked iPhone screen replaced. Originally I'd been quoted at $80 but when I went back the guy said that was not correct and said they charge $100. I was frustrated but he'd already fixed my phone so I paid. Then less than one month later, the screen they'd put on my phone FELL OFF of my phone, it had not been attached properly. When I went back in with my receipt to ask them to fix their mistake they said I could get it replaced again for their "return customer" price of $80, but they wouldn't fix it for free. Go to Cracked Up Mobile just a little farther north, barely outside of downtown. He was extremely nice and did a great job fixing iGenie's shitty one, AND he's cheaper. read more
