Absolute nasty business, and I wish I could give them -100 star…read more Their name is sports experts but they are actually the expert for rip you off. We rented a few ski sets and when we return it, they claim the ski is cracked and charged me $350 for it. The "crack" is almost invisible, and more importantly, it could totally be a normal wear and tear. The "expert" Keiran admitted we are "unlucky" that the ski broke on our hands, totally despite the fact that the ski could reach its lifetime. If they rented out the ski out 20 times and it broke at the 20th customer, the unlucky 20th customer must replace the whole set? What a business! And despite they claim they are the "expert", they messed up my daughter's snowboard, and give her (10 year old) a snowboard for 5 year old, according to the snowboard instructor at sunshine village ski site, however they gave me refund at last. I bet that's the reason that they claim the ski is broken and charge me for that. The refund is like 20 somthing and the charge of the ski is $350, and tax on top. Generally, nasty place, if you don't mind to be ripped off, please continue to shop there.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!!!! My father and I rented two sets…read moreof skis and were told by a sales associate "Make sure to get the insurance, because there are a lot of rocks out there." We bought the insurance, as recommended. Sure enough there were rocks and the cheap skis cracked. When we returned them we were informed that the actual ski was not insured and were forced to pay for both pairs. Why have any insurance if not to cover the skis?? Simple con. The manager came out yelling "You should have skied where you were supposed to." "My sales people told you about what the insurance 'covers'." (Which they didn't). We hadn't gone under a single rope or out of bounds part of the mountain. I do not appreciate being called a liar or swindled. They give you cheap skis hoping you break them so you are forced to pay for them. Greasy. Also, do not buy your goggles here either, I bought a pair and got to the car realizing they were heavily scratched, they would not take them back. Been skiing 29 years and this takes the cake.

Soul Ski & Bike - New Nórdica skis, great deal on last year's model!

DUDE. I went into basically every ski shop in Banff and this was the place that I knew I had to buy…read morefrom. Andrew, the owner, took time to listen and ask questions about my ability, my preferences, and what I needed to work on. He gave me advice without trying to sell me on anything - very different than some of the other shops in town (cough, cough, Abominable). I decided on some skis and wanted to work out some boot issues I'd been having. He told me to come back the next day and Brody would help me out (because Andrew was going out of town). Brody = freaking amazing. I ended up getting new boots and he helped me figure out that I was in a boot way too big for me. I got the new boots and after a day of riding, came back to make some adjustments. He and Tristan really thought through what options I had to make the boot fit perfectly. I was so impressed with how cool Brody was with my MILLIONS of questions. You could tell that he really cared about doing things right and making sure I felt great in my boots. It was an awesome experience. They do heat molding, waxing/tuning, sell Nórdica, K2, and Technica (and a few other brands I think). Great shop with great people! We meant to stop by to say thanks again before we left but didn't have time - if you see this review, tell them Andrea from Las Vegas sent you!

This was my first time renting bikes in banff. We wanted a more relaxed ride so we could explore…read morethe town of the banff and the bow river. We opted for cruiser bikes. The staff were friendly and eager to help. We received a helmet and a lock along with your bike, charging you 10 bucks for an hour or if, over 3.5 hours, it'll be 35 for the day. We found these to be pretty reasonable prices! The bikes were comfy and easy to use. There were also lots of trails and places to bike around town that could allow you the whole day to explore. We would definitely come back here. Maybe next time I'll try a mountain bike!

Rundle Mountain Bike Rental - Get the e-bike. Canada does not eff around with their bike trails. Your legs will thank you afterwards.

Renting a mountain bike was a to do while visiting Canmore/Banff…read more After looking at a few places I came across Rundle Mountain. Their website is fairly easy to navigate and calling for inquiries was seamless. The bike trails (especially the Legacy Trail that starts in Canmore) is 26km one way. I bike for leisure and knew my 20-mile roundtrip ride would be challenging. I opted to rent out an Element ebike and it was the best choice to spare my legs while still getting a robust workout. The ebike rode like a dream! Acceleration was smooth on pavement with a touch of a button and I enjoyed covering a lot of ground/taking in some pretty amazing sights. Rentals are available for a full or half day and parking is free onsite. The bike company is located at the Rundle Mountain Lodge in Canmore.

Rundle Mountain Bike Rental is awesome!!! So affordable for the price, and such amazing workers…read more They were so responsive over text initially, and then were great as well over phone and in person. Ben was such a wonderful help - he explained how to use their e-bikes for us who didn't know how, and made sure to help change our gears for our bikes before we started our journey. We got to test the bikes in the parking lot before starting, and he helped ensure all the bikes were safe and at full battery. They also test the bikes everyday themselves doing the Banff legacy trail (27km) to ensure all the bikes will be safe when people rent it themselves. He also told us how to get to the Banff legacy trail, and good rest stations along the way. It was so easy to pick up the bikes, and start our journey. We will definitely rent from here whenever we are back in Canmore!!!
