I originally went into the store with a voucher; I was given by Crystal, store clerk when I returned some merchandise previously purchased. There was another worker present on tonight, I'm not sure of her name but she wore glasses with dreads, African american who went out of way to make our visit horrible when trying to check out. I was given Crystal name bu the lady working on tonight. She could read that but could not read the number or amount on the receipt. Even after the young man informed her he was already assisting me with the transaction. She stated that she had to make a call in order to get the voucher numbers because she could not read them. After 15 minutes she was still on hold with no response. My husband left out the store since it was taking so long and stated he would be waiting in the vehicle for me. After, 10 minutes I was still in the store waiting so he came back in to check to see what was wrong and the lady stated she was on hold still waiting on someone to answer. The young man managed to read the voucher and receipt and enter the numbers off the voucher on order to complete our purchase. When he informed that he had read the read and entered them she acted surprised and asked him how did he do it??? He was doing his job as he told he could do. Upon leaving out of the store, facing directly toward my husband vehicle across the street was APD, so I assume that was the call/answer she was waiting for, we were not approached cause there was nothing wrong done, beside the lady labeling us. However, It just seemed very odd at the time. Needless, to say prior to that my husband was by the fitting room, I attempted to locate someone to open the door in order for him to try on his garments, she was behind the counter and when she approached the dressing room, she didn't speak or anything. Her people skills were unprofessional. The young man had previously informed her that he was able to handle our needs from the beginning, but she she seemed like she had a problem with him helping us as soon as she noted the voucher. I am an Alumni of the University of Arkansas and LSU. My husband is a hard core Cowboy fan so that is the store we normally shop at regularly and spend a lot of money. I fell that situation should have not taken place and the lady needs some education on customer service with treating all customers the same no matter what the case may be at the time. One of which is the Under Armour outlet. In between seasons they get rid of the last seasons gear at great prices from what I had seen. They have a number of men's, women's and children's clothing and yes some shoes. They have a wide variety of running gear, under gear for other athletics as well. The staff was very friendly. Now there were a lot of folks in there when I went and it looked like they were going through a great deal of stock. Point being, the store is laid out pretty well. My story: I caught wind of this store from one of my running buddies. The best time to go in here is in between seasons. (They are trying to get rid of "out of season" stock), was the word and boy were they right. I found some great deals for the past running season. Now and then I need to replace my running gear. I had two little problems that should be known. In checking out, I was charged twice for the same thing by I believe by accident and this little issue was seen by corporate from another register. Called next day to the stores manager and we started working on this issue. Several days later this issues was removed on my bank statement. Please note this issue to watch on your purchases here and let's see if this note reaches corporate and changes or updates their registry system. The second issue for them is so simple to resolve. I asked a store rep if they had running shorts if they had shorts with zipper pocket and it was unknown to the rep and he stated "I should check the web site." Great excuse, but management should educate reps with their products! Or even better just stating, "I am sorry I do not know the answer to that question, let me research that issue and get back with you." Bottom line: Great place to get discounted price running gear. However, I wouldn't necessarily classify it as sporting goods, they don't sale the same stuff you get at Academy to Dick's Sports, they sale outdoor mountainy type of items... climbing, hiking, kayaking, bouldering, trail walking, camping ... that type of stuff, both materials and the clothes.
