Being unfamiliar with the waterway we got in shallow water before reaching the river and damaged the propeller. A passerby told us that we were supposed to be to the right of the pylon (which would have been good information to have before we headed out). When the day was over the employee said only the prop was damaged which would cost $250.00. I thought about asking to split the cost due to lack of instruction but decided not to. The kid wrote out a note and had me sign it for the $250.00 as we were driving away I received a text from my bank showing me they had charge my card $525.00 instead of the $250. When I called "Captain Tom" (who was not on site that day) he told me he assessed that there was more damage. I asked for pictures and he sent me one of the skeguard that had a slight dent but completely functional. I would never use Crescent Bar Excursions again!!
