The staff was so amazing they're always engaged, keeping an eye on the dogs, stepping in when needed, and cleaning up after each pup as they leave. I've also attended a couple of their special events, most notably their Minis and Mimosas party! It was perfect for small‑dog owners who might feel anxious about their pups being around much larger dog - and my old morkie loved it! As a bonus too, there is a bar for human visitors! On our first visit, instead of simply asking for IDs, staff pulled our mothers aside and questioned them to "prove" our age. It was unnecessary and uncomfortable. We gave it another chance, but the second visit was worse. In front of a crowd we were told we "look like 10 year olds," then met with glares and a cold demand for IDs. Even after showing them, we felt stared at until we decided to leave. I respect the need to verify age, but this could have been handled professionally with a simple ID check at the door. The concept of this facility is great, but the approach left us feeling unwelcome.

There's gate and fence are safe. There's are amenities like a doggy fountain, benches, trash, bags. The only issue is when it has rained, the park is a mess. Water must not drain well and it becomes a swamp in the following days. I've lost a shoe in the mud before. And Winnie has lapped up muddy water puddles before. We've never had a problem with any other dogs or owners. Highly recommend!

There are benches and picnic tables around the lake, a small dog area (no water access) and a training area with ramps and jumps. My dog becomes the happiest version of himself when he's here. Pretty decent size for a dog park too. and seemed clean in general. Con's- As other's have said it's pretty much a gravel sandy plot of land. Misha dog and I love coming here for its location and three other main reasons:…read more 1) It's 2 acre fenced in grassy area is perfect to explore and play with other doggy friends who might happen to be there. All dogs we have met have been nice and ready to make new friends. There is lots of room to run. :) 2) The humans are just as nice as the dogs who visit. In fact, there is a nice community of humans who visit, so most of the time the humans have a chance to socialize as well as their dog counterparts. Everyone seems to be willingly to pitch in to take care of the park as well, with some bringing water for the bowls and more baggies for cleanup. 3) It's a lot quieter than Stow's Bow Wow Beach. Not going to lie, Bow Wow Beach is our favorite playground, but in the winter it's closed and a lot of the time there's so much going on there it's a little overwhelming. Keyser is nice, I never seen more than 5 dogs there at one time. Would HIGHLY recommend to new owners trying out the off leash dog playgrounds. It's a nice baby step for both human owners and dogs. *only note: while there are no hours for the dog park there are no lights on the premise.

Besides cabins & a dog park; the miniature golf course is now open to the public! Although it could us a little updating, its a cute place to take the kids and the prices are budget friendly. Directly next to the course is a large fenced in area for dog lovers to bring their furry friends & enjoy a day in the pool, buy them a treat or two or walk around the large campgrounds. Although I only observed the dog park section (my dogs don't like water); everyone there was having a blast! Owners got to jump off the large deck into a deep pool with their canines and enjoy the beautiful weather. The only reason why I haven't camped here is that it's so close to home it really wouldn't be a get away; but from what I did tour; the grounds are well maintained and the staff at the mini golf station were friendly.
