Tucked away on a secluded 14 acres you'll find cows, pigs, sheep and chickens, not to mention some friendly cats and the requisite farm dog, Jesse, patrolling the property. A picturesque little creek runs through the property and is great for kids to play and wade in. Don and Kitty are delightful hosts; funny, charming, warm, accommodating, and exceptional chefs to boot! We were lucky enough to be staying over during one of their cooking classes and got to experience the most scrumptious multi-course Italian feast with different varieties of handmade pastas made from their own fresh eggs from the henhouse. Breakfasts are hearty and tasty, and it's a great having it on the sun porch, rain or shine. The house itself is really lovely. Recently built in the last few years, it has very welcoming open floor plan, enviable kitchen, and spacious and comfortable guest rooms. I can't remember when I slept so well. In fact, the entire getaway was just perfectly relaxing, and I was content just to lay about the house reading and hanging out with our hosts. Kitty was even kind enough to give me a lesson on making hooked rugs after I expressed some interest in the lovely examples decorating the living room. At that point, most places would have simply shrugged their shoulders and sent me on my way. But then Rob stepped in like an absolute legend. This man went above and beyond in every possible way. He found me an overflow spot, saved me a bunch of money, printed out everything I needed, and even helped get me refunded around a hundred bucks. Most importantly, he made sure I was still able to be here for the holiday weekend. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it honestly turned what could have been a disaster into one of the best camping experiences I've had in a long time. The campground itself is beautiful. Clean, peaceful, surrounded by gorgeous scenery, and close to everything Seaside has to offer. Whether you want the beach, restaurants, shopping, or just a relaxing place to unwind, this location is hard to beat. Big five stars to this campground and an even bigger shout out to Rob and all the people here who make this place what it is. You folks truly made a stressful situation turn into an unforgettable Fourth of July weekend.

Unfortunately, it rained the majority of the time we were there, but since we had a travel trailer, we just played games inside all day. The great part was that we knew the rain was coming so on day one, we went to the beach and enjoyed every minute in the warm water. The water is seems clean, the waves are great. Even though it's a river, I did not worry about floating away. I still enjoy watching the ships. One of my nieghbors showed me an app that gives you info on the ships that pass. I still recommend this place. Unlike lasdt time, no barking dogs nor car alarms. Even my neighbor had dogs and they were so well behaved. Great time! Definitely visit if you have a chance. This time we parked down by the restrooms (near tents). Okay, little kids don't know better and kept running through our spot, but when their parents saw them, they corrected them.
