Been here almost 61 days and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Since we live in the desert, the green grass and the cool weather are a real treat. Beautiful, large sites, WELL GROOMED, nice restrooms and clean. FANTASTIC STAFF from placing reservations , checking in, picking up my dozens of orders and mail to the outdoor staff mowing and cleaning the park!!! Came in late with no reservation and they accommodated us very kindly. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot. No complaints.

Very unprofessional We called the place and asked a young lady if we can set a tent up and she said if you pay for a full hookup you can . We arrived and start our night and drink and about 11 pm a guy which appeared to be the first lady's dad showed up and starts by saying that we need to have an RV . Told him that we talk to girl she mentioned we can set the tent and he says i don't care. THIS IS NOT ACCCEPTEBLE HOSTING. Definitely less than we expected but not horrible! The whole "resort" thing really threw us off! It's mostly permanent residents, not many camping or traveling folks. It was cleaner than many of those types of parks though, and it was super quiet. We were only there one night and arrived later in the day and left in the morning so didn't need more than that. If it was called and RV park instead of a resort, perhaps our expectations wouldn't have been what they were. Overall an okay stop on the map if you just need a quiet place to park and sleep for the night. read more

This was a one night stay for us. The campground is very nicely kept, green grass all around, very orderly and clean. Beautiful area.

This place deserves a ZERO rating. For $76.00 dollars you get nothing except your hookup no cable. It is an outrageous amount of over charging. I would skip this and head down the road to cannon beach where we had full hookups and cable RV for $44.00. A night. They need a pool, a bocci ball court, miniature golf, and a tennis court to be worth $76.00. Get busy circle creek. read more

I had no problem with the staff they were very friendly & accommodating, not at all what the other reviewer stated. The sites where very nice & clean, loved seeing the elk in the meadows in the early evening and the honkers flying over many times a day. Very close to Seaside and Cannon Beach, Price was reasonable. As we travel in the car, we like to stop and check out RV parks in the search for another "go-to" place. We always stop & I ask if we can view the park. I have never been told "NO" told until this park. In the past when I have asked if we can view an RV park, they are always friendly offer tips & supply maps in the hopes we'll come back with our RV. Overall a nice setting, but... The manager is a major deterrent. She was not only rude, but hostile. I had a dry camping site and was charged $36 for it, then the next day she wanted to charge me $30 to dump and fill my clean water tank. A very expensive night and a less than positive interaction with management. read more

Booked a spot 8 weeks in advance and were assigned a quiet spot in the back of the campground. A day before we called to confirm and were told we were assigned spot 1 which is right by the office and right next to the highway. We told them of our original spot assignment which was quiet and they said there was nothing they could do about it. Not a good way of doing business. read more

We're are looking forward to our up coming stay memorial weekend. We have a reserved site on the river. The woman I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and very informative about prices and Good Sam membership prices. We appreciated the help purchasing a Good Sam membership...we're fairly new to RV-ing and it was nice to have a little guidance about the savings the membership offers. When I read a "bad" review...I always look at the emotion behind what the person is saying, and base it against fact. Maybe it's the person's feelings rather than the actual failure of the business. Being able to hide behind your computer and write an unsavory review is really unfair considering it could be you and your emotions and feelings about what that business owes you! You should choose to not return to that business, not slaughter their business. I never take the time to write a poor review...it's to much negative energy to throw out there. read more

Management was EXTREMELY rude to my girlfriend and me. We drove through the park to check it out, something you'd normally do in any campground to see if it's somewhere you want to stay, and one of the managers came running up to our car, red-faced and angry, and started screaming at us about how we weren't allowed to drive through before reserving a spot, and asking us sarcastically if we could read (we missed a small sign at the entrance). She demanded that we stop by the front desk and apologize. When we refused to apologize, she said we'd "lost our chance" to stay there! I've NEVER been treated so rudely by an employee of ANY establishment before. Stay far away from this place! read more

I used to live at Circle Creek before my friend John Waterberry got bit by the managers pitbull Haley and Grant. I complained about my electric. The electric wasn't up to par and it was shutting down and burnt up my wiring and shortly afterwards I got addicted but that's OK I hope no small children go to the park with that pit bull pray that no one gets injured read more

We stayed here for 4 nights the first week in August. Nice camp ground. Our sites were a little noisy, but not the managers fault. It was clean and well taken care of. The managers have only been there since May and have been very busy keeping it clean. We would go back but, would request sites further from the highway. read more

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights I July. After reading the horror stories on this page I was preparing for the worst. It is not the worst. It was good! They have a ton of spots and it can get noisy and crowded, so not the best for a quiet space. But if you're looking for a place to just sleep or maybe take the kids while you're in Cannon Beach, this is the spot. It's close enough you can walk to everything and the price is pretty much the cheapest around. The staff have a lot to deal with, they are busy, so be patient and you should be fine. They do charge for extra things so be aware. They do have showers and bathrooms free of charge which is nice. Be courteous to them, follow the rules and you won't have any issues. read more

How people in a "service" industry can treat their customers/guests like our group was treated this weekend is unbelievable. The ladies running the office have got to be miserable to treat paying customers like trash. Their performance and attitude just cost them not only our repeat business (4 RV's) but a bike club friend wanted to stay here but now will not. Will they care? Probably not. Seems they would rather not be bothered and cater to the clientele we observed 90% of the park to be full of - high end RV's with old goats inside who never come out, never use the lame and tiny fire rings and certainly don't truly camp. Wi-Fi did not work all weekend, cable tv is 8 stations with nothing even decent (how can you not have ESPN??), and our water pressure was shut off for 4 hours one night due to a break, which I understand. What I don't understand is nary an apology for any of the above when brought up, nor an offer of a discount. $47 a night for this? The park itself is nice, but as another poster said, don't go near the grass with a vehicle - remember the old "get off my grass" comments? This place is the poster child for the surly, nasty "you owe us for allowing you the privilege of staying here" old school proprietor instead of thanking their customers for coming. We won't be back. One lady at registration was very nice. When she asked how old we were (20 & 18) she was about to politely tell us their age policy when a very rude older lady interrupted her to say "that's not gonna work for us, you need to be 21 with ID". I don't see why we need to be of drinking age when all we want is a place to park and an electrical outlet for the night. I've been denied a site because of age before but the way she said it was incredibly rude. read more

We stayed at this place as a last resort due to the surrounding parks having no vacancy and I'm sure glad we did. This place is in a perfect location in between cannon beach and seaside which was very accommodating to my family as we wanted to spend time on each beach. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming upon our late arrival and accommodated our every request. In fact we enjoyed this park so much we ended up staying the remaining 3 days of our vacation there and remain d situated on a beautiful river just behind our camper. We enjoyed the morning sounds of geese flying over as well as the morning walk along the grassy field they have. We will definitely be staying here again as a first resort and not last! I couldn't believe how rude the front desk woman was to my sister and I. Neither of us huave ever gone back to a place to approach someone and let them know how rude and out of line their customer service and behavior was. So unhelpful and condescending that we both almost were crying from shock. We are as nice as they come and even still we went back in and had words. When we nicely approached her, she stood up and walked away, slammed the door behind her, and her co-worker stormed after us after we got in our car. I was kind scared of them both. First time we stayed here. And it was just ok. At first I was going to leave a not so favorable review of this campground. But in defense of it, it was the middle of winter and it's apparently their off season and they don't do much business. There were 3-4 other RVs on site and it was quite gloomy and rainy. The store wasn't stocked due to the off season. But in general the campground is nice and is convenient being between Seaside and Cannon Beach. Very quiet and relaxing being next to the river. We had Elk outside our trailer every morning. The rules of the campground are a little "tight" for our liking. Especially requiring that all campfires be out at Midnight. We were also charged for having 2 kids with us, we are used to being charged for the site and not the number of occupants. Staff was friendly in the little contact we had with them. It should be noted that the sites are paved with just enough pavement to fit an RV. The rest is grass and no outdoor carpets etc.... Are allowed on the grass in front of your trailer. In the winter this makes for a muddy mess but it is what it is. Also the wifi was spotty at best. Would I use this campground again. Yes. It was convenient, clean, quiet, and relaxing! read more

Wasn't really happy with this RV park , the grass was very overgrown and the dead grass from the previous mow was 2 inches deep on the RV pad , it was wet and slimy and I almost slipped twice . Just seems for the price we paid the RV park would have been a bit better and well maintained. Also you aren't allowed to put down your outside rug , not sure why ‍will all the overgrown grass and dead grass at our site we should have like everyone else. It would have eliminated the grass from getting tracked inside our RV and we may of had a better experience. The once nice thing there was the full hookups that was about it . read more

We came across this campground purely by accident. We pulled in and spoke to Sharon at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful and gave us lots of information about local sights and attractions as she checked us in. The next day we extended our stay for another night and Mike gave us a few more excellent tips on things to do and see. Now for the campground review....we loved it. The sites aren't too close together and it's a very quiet campground. We had to stay in the dry camp area but with an RV, it's no big deal (they don't allow tents; however we saw someone get around this rule by placing their tent in the back of their truck! I wouldn't rely on that tactic though) The reason that I didn't give Circle Creek 5 stars is due to the restroom and shower facility; it's clean and well kept, but it's showing it's age. Sharon said that they are renovating the restrooms and showers this winter though, so I look foreword to giving them a five star review on our next trip. If you're looking for a nice place to stay near Seaside, this is a great option. read more

Day four of our five day stay here. Was apprehensive about staying here due to some of the previous reviews but we gave it a try and glad we did. The staff are very friendly and made us feel welcome right from the first call to make our reservation. I don't understand why they or any of the others we have stayed at charge an additional fee per child but seems pretty standard. The laundry room is very clean and plenty of machines are provided. The sites are plenty roomy and it is all well kept. The wifi really works, unlike most other places we have stayed. We are in a spot almost to the back of the park and we are all able to use the wifi on our devices. Great place to stay for a visit to Seaside and/or Cannon Beach. read more

Stayed here four nights and had a pleasant stay. I was concerned when I tried to call to notify them of our arrival after their closing hours and their voice mail box was full. I emailed and heard back from them that they would give us instructions on our spot and everything we needed to know about our stay. Turns out they stayed open for us which was extremely nice of them to do. Park was full but quiet every night. They let us know that WiFi and cable wasn't great where we were, but owners are working to fix. This wasn't a big deal to us but it would have been nice. Restrooms are dated but clean, landscaping could use sprucing up. Garbage area could be moved out of sight but overall we a great stay. Choose this over TT because they had sewer sites. People in the office were extremely nice! We would stay here again. read more

We are new to rv camping. Stayed here last weekend. Lady that checked us in was very nice. First thing we checked out was the rest rooms. Looked very clean, although we didn't use them. Rest of park was nice too, not too close together. We were next to creek,but was hard to get to from our site (over grown naturally) but we didn't need to go there anyway. They were doing some other construction, but didn't start working too early. It was true our tree need a little trimming, but our motorhome fit. Just had to watch backing in. read more

If I could give this review a zero I absolutely would. I understand it says no tents and we weren't looking to pitch our tent. The office had just closed so we went to speak to a young couple and asked their situation. They stated they paid $38 to park their car and use the restrooms but they were obligated to sleep in their car. This would have been fine, they had 12 free spots surrounding them. Out of nowhere an old woman approached our vehicle and told us we had to leave and that we couldn't just enter the campsite. Again, we were willing to pay and sleep in our vehicle but she stated we couldn't stay at the rv park. She was very rude and if you ask me she was definitely racist. The young couple stated people were just pulling up to the sites and a person would come up and charge them. Very disappointed and actually quite disgusted. read more

We've been regulars every summer at Circle Creek since 2007: always secure; easy access to Cannon Beach, Gearhart, and, of course Seaside; and the facilities, as well as the full-hook-up RV sites, are always clean and well functioning. Easy access with three or four pull-through sites. We will return often! read more

I have stayed at this rv park several times a year for the past 10 years. Sharon, the owner has always been very polite, helpful and a great host. Many of negative comments are caused because they decided to discontinue tent camping and people just will not accept "no tent camping". This place does NOT even deserve a single star!!! I am not one to write negative reviews or say negative things but I am so DISGUSTED and in awe with this place because of the way we were treated. We pulled over for safety to this circle creek park when our SUV transmission went out; the customer service we received from this place was absolutely terrible!!! The elderly lady at the store right away with an attitude told us our car needed to be towed and was so RUDE!!!! I tried explaining to her we pulled over for safety into the park because we have two children and didn't want to be on the highway with them until the tow truck arrived and she just didn't care and proceeded to say it needed to be towed immediately. We have an RV and were excited to see this place when we pulled in to spend a few days there but after this experience we will NEVER come here again! TERRIBLE customer service! mean and rude attitude as soon as we walked in. She must really hate her job to be so rude and not even consider our two children with our car just broken down and new in town just needing some advice. Simply stated, the lady who seems to work the front desk most of the time is the absolute rudest service person our party has ever encountered at an RV Park!! First of all, we mentioned that we'd gotten a new RV since we made our reservations. It was a few feet bigger than our last one. She exclaimed we could have called and told her this. She then put her hands on her head in the most flustered tone ever and said "I just want to run away!!" (The last RV was a travel trailer and this is a fifth wheel in which we backed the under the truck so it made absolutely no difference.) The other party with us asked how the satellite reception was in their spot and again, very rudely she responded she had no idea. Finally, when we gave her our Good Sam card different than the one she was used to, she was all up in arms about that. When we left the office, all four of us were in disbelief at the rudeness of this woman. When we got to our spot, we couldn't back all he way up like she has told us to due to tree branches dragging the roof. Our neighbor suggested we ask the office to have someone trim them. Reluctantly I went and asked and she was so rude and put out by the request. Someone with such a lack of patience and people skills really shouldn't be working in customer service. According to many reviewers, she made their experience with this park terrible and she tries to cover up her rudeness and disdain with her snide laugh. Some other friends happened to stay there in the overflow/dry camping. They asked the same lady if anyone cancelled with full hookups, if she could let them know. She rudely told them that never happens. Our stories are minor in comparison to some others. Additionally, the place was not very well maintained. Trees need trimming and grass mowed. If Good Sam monitors these reviews, they're best off removing this Park or finding new management. read more

After reading the reviews we were worried about staying here, but I have to say we really enjoyed the 3 nights stay and will be back. What we loved was large camping spots, lots of trees and open areas. Bathrooms decent enough for us, and trash receptacles included recyclable containers. Very convenient in-and-out from highway 101, but set far enough back that noise was never an issue. They have rules, but I cannot argue with that--visitors have to check in before entering the park, no tents are allowed, etc. An important issue for us was that there was no rule regarding the size or style of RV allowed. We had a pop-up tent camper next to us with a really great family, and a very large diesel pusher on the other side. We have a 12 year old class A with a tow car. Some RV parks have a rule preventing any RVs over 10 years old from camping, but our RV is in excellent shape and we happily avoid those parks. read more
