I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone I like... It's nice…read moreinside but when it comes to billing you have to watch out and ask before they do anything. And most people will say that "Oh well a dentist will do what he sees if needed", and I believe in that to some extent, but also I believe in getting what you ask for and if there doing anything different from what you ask for then they tell you!! I asked for a cleaning, (because I know my insurance covers one a year),I was getting married in a couple weeks and didn't want any extra bills and when i'm leaving they give me a bill for $110. I asked what is this for and they say "oh we did a debridement". There argument was "Well how are we supposed to know what your insurance covers", you don't I do!!!!!!!! Oh! And trust me they argued with me for 20 minutes, I was amazed how rude and right they thought they where, like oh where a dentist office your not going to tell us what you want we tell you!!! I don't doubt that I maybe I need one but inform me that you added that, maybe I would have wanted to do that later. Don't just do something that i didn't ask for.....say this is seperate from a cleaning. Just rude and disrespectful, tired of these types of business, just upselling there service.

Overall, this is a really great practice. I have been a patient for years and continue to go back…read morefor the quality of service, the level of knowledge and the beautiful office with updated equipment. The key to any good patient-doctor relationship is communication. I've learned to ask questions...not only of Dr. Perry but of his staff and I always end up with the information I need. I've read some of the other reviews and it seems like they just needed to ask questions. I'm not going to buy something without knowing how much it costs, so I would ALWAYS ask the front desk about my insurance and my co-pays, etc. In this way dentistry is a purchase and it needs to be treated as such. Dr. Perry's office staff is very, very knowledgeable and works well with insurance and provides plans to make dentistry affordable for me. I recommend Dr. Perry for his skill, his great office staff, his attention to detail and his patient care. I never feel rushed. I always feel empowered to ask questions. I have never had a problem with the services rendered and I've never had a problem with my billing. Going to the dentist is never fun but Meridian Dental makes it as pleasant as possible and provides a lot of education.

What has happened to Weymouth Dental Associates?…read more I used to be a patient at Weymouth Dental Associates years ago when I lived in Weymouth, and I remember having a very different experience. Because my mom lives nearby, I recommended this practice to her, so I was extremely disappointed to hear about her recent experience. From the moment she arrived, she was met with what she described as a very cold reception from the front desk. If you work in a healthcare setting, greeting patients with kindness and professionalism should be the bare minimum. Going to the dentist can already be an anxiety-inducing experience, and patients should feel welcomed and comfortable and not like they are an inconvenience. Unfortunately, her experience with Dr. Lin was no better. She felt that the bedside manner was lacking and that she was made uncomfortable during her visit. I understand that people come from different cultural backgrounds and may have different communication styles, but when you work in healthcare, you have a responsibility to make your patients feel respected, heard, and at ease. It took everything in me not to walk into the office after my mom told me about her experience. I recommended this practice based on my own positive experiences years ago, and I regret that my recommendation resulted in my mom having such a negative experience. Please do better. Patients have choices when it comes to their healthcare, and there are many other dental practices that understand the importance of treating patients with kindness, respect, and compassion. Especially elderly patience. Never forget that the way you treat people can determine whether they choose to return.

Stay far away from here. I went here since I was very young, over the years Dr. Burt certainly made…read moresome questionable choices during that time. Most recently, they messed up on my out of pocket $1050 mouth guard and so I had to come back and get the scan done again, they messed that one up too and since they didn't want to pay for another Dr Burt basically forced it in my mouth, it hurt. I told him I couldn't really close my mouth with it in, something my last mouth guard did not do. He said "well then just sleep with your mouth open then" with an irritable tone, extremely inappropriate. It is always NOT healthy to sleep with your mouth open if you can help it. Of course it will fall open sometimes but it is not good for you mouth, already have a slight issue with dry mouth, something they knew about and I wake up every morning with a sore throat. And my jaw is now in even more pain, pain constantly and when eating, and obviously Dr Burt doesn't care. I wasted $1050 dollar out of pocket when I'm already struggling with finances. Now I will need to get a new one at another dentist office, which I can't afford. When I was a teenager he pressured me into a procedure he sprung on me, with severe anxiety as a teenager I wanted to schedule a time to come back when I had properly prepared myself for it but he pressured me into it anyways and at the time I hadn't learned I could push back. Im going to a new dentist who actually cares about their patients. It was also a nightmare to get my medical records sent to me, in the end I didn't even get them sent to me they stopped responding and then sent it to the dentist office directly. They couldn't tell me the dates of the X-rays.. Horrible place, they'll trick you into thinking they care by having their adorable service dogs walking around the office.
