The small store has a great look & a nice feel & seems fully stocked with all you might need. As an IPA only drinker, the small beer case did have a few 6-packs of a handful of IPA brands, which was nice... didn't expect that in such a small town, as in personal experience, most I know aren't IPA drinkers... we're more an oddball, niche enclave of the beer drinking community at large. Also, prices were very reasonable... $10 for a 6-pk... I pay $13-15 for IPAs in most states I've lived/visited. There are another 1/2-dozen liquor stores in the area, which I didn't visit... I was only in town for 4-days, so just needed 1. They might be great, as well, but this place is definitely worth a look. Note: There are a few other shops nearby on Main St., as well. Misty's Coffee is a few doors down. Haven't tried them, yet, but will before I leave. I'm always game for a good, strong cup o' boot glue. 5* out of 5.

MOST liquor stores in rural CO tend to stock the wanna-be beers....Coors, Keystone, Bud, Miller, etc. But Choice gives you....well, choice. A VERY solid beer selection includes Grolsch (yeah!), Stella, and a few other Bavarian hops. The wine selection is about as good as you'll find anywhere in rural CO, and the spirits selection is excellent...including aged rums and even a 30yr port! Only ding is the pricing - wines are more than (way more than) double the price of what they are in CA. Near Walmart, the ONLY shopping choice in Rifle. Definitely a fan.

Alarming Behavior on Wednesday, June 11 around 5:20 p.m. A…read moregroup of people at Rio Grande Park watched your employee (husky men, tall, dark hair, heavy accent) empty his pockets of small liquor bottles and cans onto the ground at the Rio Grande picnic bench. Some of the bottles shattered, leaving broken glass. When asked to pick up his trash he put his earphones in and walked away, ignoring the situation. The group discussed that this man works at Aspen Wine & Spirits. One witness discussed calling the police. Very disrespectful to our community. Children play at the picnic table - Especially this time of year. Please talk to your employees about respecting our community.
