Great service. Work is done well, and in a good time frame. Honest service too. No BS about things you don't need. I approved an additional repair [$40] and the old parts were retained until i picked up my vehicle so I could see for myself how badly worn they were [and yes for what I was getting done the job wouldn't have been 100% without these 2 parts, as the old parts were just done]. Seems this probably isn't the place for grandma to stop in because she hears a "noise" [though I'm sure anyone is welcome] but rather for someone who knows they need work done. Been to Canadian Tire and they told you that you need this and that for some ridiculous amount of money? Well maybe stop by this place and have a talk with the guy who runs the shop. He'll definitely tell you whats really in need of fixing in regards to your problem and give you an excellent price. He doesn't seem to follow those "book" rules on labour costs [ie: you go to Canadian Tire they will tell you this part requires 1.5 hours labour, this part .75 hours and so on at a cost of $70 an hour] but rather gives you a good price on labour that reflects his time and a fair deal for you. Hell, two extra parts installed on my car and I only paid the cost of the parts. He stuck to the price he gave me on the labour despite the extra work. There doesn't seem to be any mark up on parts either, you just pay the cost that he gets them at from the wholesaler and he makes his money on the work he does. Straight up honest. I recently bought a 2008 BMW Z4 that I thought was in immaculate shape, and after a few weeks, started hearing an engine noise that I was concerned about. I didn't know any mechanics that worked on BMWs, but my research identified Ivo as a reputable and honest mechanic. Given the reviews, I made an appointment to have Ivo look at my car. He could have told me anything, but what he did tell me, was that he hadn't seen a car that had been so well looked after in a long time.
