He does sod installation, grading, seeding and all aspects of lawn call. I initiailly called him about sod installation but he explained that sode would not do well in my HEAVILY SHADED lawn. He recommended adding topsoil with some peat/compost and then seeding the lawn and covering with straw/ He showed up ON-TIME with a crew of 3 (plus himself) and knocked the project out in under 2 hours. Very professional, knowedgeable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend John to anyone needing lawn work.

After only completing a portion of the work and trying to exhort us on permit fees and other items that could not substantiate when asked, they disappeared. Despite us paying them per our contract, they did not pay for the equipment they rented for our project, which caused a lien to be put on our home by the rental company - we are also uncovering several other vendors they did not pay either. The Premier crew inconsistently showed for work, worked extremely slow and spent more time sitting around smoking and playing on their phones then doing actual work (we had one crew show on a weekend to "work" but rather spent the time drinking beer). We also caught them in multiple lies, including saying that they had ordered materials when they did not, which caused our project to be delayed. I would avoid this company at all costs. Very shady group of folks that have caused us unnecessary heartache and money. We have been contacted by the OH attorney general regarding possible criminal activity associated with this group as well - super sus!

His crew spent three days doing about 80% of the framing. Steve then asked for a second check to purchase and install a new tankless hot water heater the next day. We gave him $8750.00 and he has since never showed up again. He stopped returning our calls and we have since learned that Steve Matheny has several LLC's that are currently being sued or have been sued and a verdict has been issued requiring Steve to pay tens of thousands of dollars to labor unions, iron workers and individuals.
