Our appointment was scheduled for 4:00 PM, and we were instructed to arrive 15 minutes early. We arrived at 3:45 PM as requested, yet we were not seen until 5:00 PM. However, I'm certain that if we had arrived even a few minutes after 4:00 PM, our appointment would have been canceled. To make matters worse, my daughter suffers from allergies. The staff told us they would not see her because of her allergies and requested a doctor's note. I provided the doctor's note, but then they told us it was too late and that they were about to close. After making us wait that long, that response was unacceptable. The staff was extremely rude and dismissive throughout the process. As a parent, I expect professionalism, clear communication, and basic courtesy -- especially at a children's dental office. Dr. Lugo is so soft spoken, so caring, so calming to children and totally informs parents about office and home care for the child. My child loves going to Dr. Lugo. At 12 my son asked Dr. Lugo if he could have an oxygen mask that smelled like oranges like the one that had been used in a procedure when he was three. Dr. Lugo gave him one. He will be one of my child's fondest memories forever I'm sure.

I got a refund after informing the practice that I wasn't informed of this procedure beforehand. Apart from this, Doctor Seri's advice to use my custom-made mouth guard turned out to be very helpful--she kept forgetting that I already had one and was suggesting that they make one for me, but she allowed herself to be corrected when I told her I had one already. I also took offense to some things the hygienist said, even if she was comforting at times and gave me very helpful suggestions for home care. She even told me "you don't have a bad mouth" which relieved my anxieties. All in all, it's an okay clinic but a little big.
