They called me and gave a generous two weeks to come pick in up. When I did pick it up, staff again were so friendly and helpful. I love supporting local and this place is just wonderful. Good selection of books and they make it so easy to order anything they might not have in stock.

While I should probably get a library card, when it comes to books by my favorite authors, I prefer to add them to my bookshelf permanently. I've known about this book store for a while, but I'm never in the area and I have another one a block away from where I live. That being said, I was nearby, and wanted a coffee so I swung through Kitties. That's when I realized Gramercy Books was connected by a shared wall. I love it! I browsed around, fell deep into their nice selection of plant focused books, then hunted out my favorite authors because I've been in need of a great book that I know I'll love right off the bat. That's when Kurt Vonnegut and Malcolm Gladwell come into play. Lucky for me I hadn't come across Malcolm's newest book yet and they had it. That was a must, as I have almost every other book he's written. I go back and forth on Vonnegut, non-fiction is an awesome way to escape. Being that he's from the midwest (Indy to be exact), a lot of his writings are based in the area which is fun. I was directed to the section he was in by a wonderfully helpful staff member. They had several of his writings I don't already have so I swiped one of those up too. If you're like me and prefer the OG way of diving into a good book, this book store is a lovely choice. It's definitely a locally owned one that's worth the drive.

The second you walk in, you can tell so much thought has gone into the space. It has such a good vibe, cozy, welcoming, and beautifully put together without feeling overly staged or generic. There's so much to look at. Every section has something different, from home decor and little accent pieces to unique finds that you don't typically see in the big box chain stores. It's the kind of place where you can walk in just to "look around" and somehow leave with a bag because you keep finding things you love. It makes me wish I had 4 different houses to decorate. Definitely worth stopping in even just to browse because the place is genuinely just IT

That day the owner, Andrea, had given out succulents to each customer and it was such a gracious idea plus got me back into trying out the house plant thing (proud to say I have now successfully kept a plant alive in my home lol)! Last week, we returned while out for a stroll with my cat and Andrea was there stocked with The Purfect pillow on hand! It's an amazing eclectic shop, & always an enriching/inspiring environment courtesy of Andrea!! If you're in the area, or looking to explore what Columbus has to offer, this shop is a MUST see! Also, doesn't hurt knowing that each purchase is supporting a LOCAL, MINORITY-OWNED, WOMAN-OWNED Business!!!

Stop by if you can and support this local business while you can. Online announcement: After much reflection, it's time to announce that our shop is closing. This year has been tough, and despite hoping things would improve, we've reached a point where both the shop and I need a break. I'm beyond grateful for the incredible support over the last five years, both in-store and online. To show my appreciation, we're kicking off a 'closing sale' this Saturday with 40% off storewide (excluding A.J.Soseby The Scent Collection). Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Excited for what's next! Keep following us for an exciting '25. We have so much more coming. -A.J. SOSEBY

But while shopping…read morein Clintonville today I saw the High st store and we went in to see what it was all about. We were greeted by a knowledgeable gal who told us that location had been open three weeks. It is a very narrow shop but so exciting to see. Your eye takes in so much. I'm not sure how to describe what they have so I am relying on their own description. Cleaning in style. A collection of home, kitchen and found objects. Lots of wonderful candles. I needed a push broom so that is what I brought home. I intend to visit the Parsons store tomorrow because I like to shop local. They have limited hours but visit either shop if you can. You won't be disappointed.
