It was a busy weekend for them, but we still received outstanding service from check in and the valet. The staff seemed truly eager to assist with anything we needed. Our room was nicely updated, spacious and comfortable. The food and drinks at the restaurants (Rare and Goat) were amazing and worth the prices. It was a short stay, but would like to return for a longer visit to check out everything else the resort has to offer. I recommend this place to any out of towners!

The property is attractive, clean, and generally well maintained. However, my experience as a…read moreresident included several issues that prospective tenants should be aware of. The first issue involved the lease termination terms. When I signed my lease, I was offered a move-in special that included one month of free rent. However, no one explained that if I decided to terminate the lease early, I would be required to repay that free month's rent in addition to the standard lease-break fees. When I provided notice that I would be moving out, the Property Manager informed me that I would be responsible for paying two months' rent, as required by the lease, plus reimbursement of the free month that had been offered at move-in. When I explained that this requirement had never been disclosed to me, he acknowledged that it was a newer policy and suggested that it may not have been clearly explained at the time I signed the lease. I asked whether he could discuss the situation with the property owners and request a reduction of at least part of the additional charge. A few days later, he informed me that he had spoken with the owners, but they declined to make any adjustment. The second issue involved access to my garage. On numerous occasions, a truck with an attached trailer was parked in a manner that blocked access, making it impossible for me to park my vehicle inside my garage. After I raised the issue with maintenance staff, the truck was moved to a different location. Unfortunately, a large dumpster was then placed directly in front of my garage and remained there for several weeks, again preventing me from using the garage as intended. One final observation: if you need assistance from the office, I would not recommend stopping by on Fridays. In my experience, the office often closed early or was not open during posted business hours.

Multiple complaints have been made through resident portal tickets, phone calls, and in-person conversations with management about the unsanitary conditions around Building 5705 near the dog park, yet little to nothing has been done. The hallways and carpets are often covered in a buildup of pet waste, urine stains, spilled food, and other debris, creating a serious health and sanitation concern. Dog waste is regularly left throughout the community, sometimes for days. On my most recent visit, I witnessed a large pile of dog waste near the pool area that several maintenance staff walked or drove past without addressing. The community has a lot of potential, but the lack of accountability from both residents and management is disappointing. Prospective renters should take the time to walk around Building 5705 and other less-visible areas of the property rather than relying solely on the buildings shown during tours. At this point, the complex should invest in adding cameras in this area and rewarding tenants with $500 off their rent if they snitch on tenants who leave poop and throw up around the building. I hope this review receives more attention than the calls, visits, and maintenance requests that have gone unanswered. On top of the the maintenance staff that wear blue constantly do nothing. They ride around the golf carts having their conversations on blast or playing music and get paid to maintain nothing because they don't clean or maintain and they damn sure don't even take the time to raise the issues they witness to the office. For several years, a maintenance employee has made me feel unsafe in my own home. At first, I didn't recognize the behavior for what it was. He initially entered my unit a few times for repairs and came across as "friendly." Over time, however, I noticed that he consistently appeared whenever I stepped outside, whether I was walking my cat, checking the mail, or going to my car. He would sneak glances at me, and his work always seemed to take him wherever it needed to in order to keep me in his sight. Even after I changed my routine, he would eventually reappear at the new times. He began spending long periods near my patio, frequently looking in my direction. If I went inside and closed my blinds, he would leave shortly after, but as soon as he saw me again, he would reappear and linger. The pattern became impossible to ignore. The situation escalated when he began showing up at the community gym during my workouts, staring until I caught him doing so. Once, he even appeared at a children's pool party wearing only swim shorts and sunglasses, watching me again--this time much more openly than usual. I didn't even realize it was him at first because he wasn't in his usual uniform. This happened a few more times where I felt eyes on me, grew uncomfortable and then realized it was him again just not in uniform. I felt nauseated thinking about how many times this might have happened without me noticing. I eventually adapted my life to avoid him: I stopped sitting on my patio, stopped walking my cat, and kept my blinds closed almost all the time. I reported his behavior to management three times, explaining that I no longer felt safe. Each time, my concerns were brushed off as him being "friendly." I never asked for anyone to be fired, only that he cease unnecessary contact with me and receive harassment-prevention training. I was told that training was already planned due to a previous incident involving another staff member. Still, his behavior continued. Finally, I installed cameras outside my patio. As soon as he noticed them, his behavior changed completely--he stopped lingering and only appeared when doing actual work and did not look at me. This made it clear to me that he was fully aware of how inappropriate his behavior had been. Months later, during a community road project, I parked in the wrong area by mistake. That same employee knocked on my door early in the morning to tell me to move my car. When I couldn't find it and went to the HOA office to ask if it had been towed, he appeared again and while we all figured the situation out, said in front of management, that he "knew me" and therefore knew my car, confirming that he hadn't received that information from them. To my knowledge, there is no legitimate reason he should know which car, out of thousands parked in the community, was mine. We have never had a personal or friendly relationship. Later that day, I asked management to confirm what he said while it was still fresh in everyone's memory. They refused to record the conversation, declined to meet formally, and then claimed they couldn't recall him saying that. One manager went so far as to say that my complaint was "because he smiled at you." Reducing years of harassment and stalking to a "smile" was not only dismissive but cruel. I left in tears. Regardless of whether they personally believed me, their lack of professionalism and empathy was appalling. This is not how safety concerns should ever be handled. To anyone considering living here: if you are a single woman or have daughters, please understand that management will not protect you. You will be left to defend yourself, and your safety will not be taken seriously.
