I went back to the yard and got specific numbers and went to a different cashier because she took people in front of me purposely. The new girl Jill rang me up and I asked for my 10% military discount that the guy in the yard wrote on the paper. Jill refused to give a military discount and also refused to give me the girls name that started all this negative chaos in the first place. Don't say you give military discounts for good publicity when you dont. If you dont support us fine. Don't say you do. Ill drive to Deer Park or Spokane from now on. Prior to writing this review, I removed what was a 5-star review from my past experience. The…read morereason for this is that my sister deposited a check at the bank and wrote a check at Selkirk Ace an hour later that morning for $48 and it did not clear. So why the problem? Well, Selkirk Ace filed a "fraud" complaint in less than 72 hours with the Bonner County sheriff department. I was at my sister's house visiting when the sheriff arrived. Keep in mind that my sister has a 5-year customer history with this store and the check was only for $48. If she were actually someone trying to commit real fraud, I'm pretty sure that she'd have written a check for a lot more than $48 measly dollars. My sister went to the store to pay the $48 cash +$20 for the returned check and again they persisted in accusing her of fraud. What it came down to is that the store filed the fraud complaint because they didn't want to bother with the trouble to handle it in a normal manner. They would rather file a bogus complaint with the sheriff because they don't care that our county's law enforcement personnel have *actual* crime to deal with. The only real "fraud" committed in this case was by Selkirk Ace claiming fraud was my sister's intent. I (along with the rest of our family) will never spend another dime with this store and all of us will be telling this story to all of our neighbors and friends.
