One week ago my nurse called Hart and Dilatush Pharmacy and told them I was i n pain and I needed my Rx filled. Now, over a week later, they still haven't filled them and I am dying from pain and lack of sleep. Know why they refused to deliver my pain and sleep meds today? Because I did not have $37 to pay the copay. They told me I had to pay the copay before they would give me my drugs. I am 84, kids never call and I am ready for hospice. I've had enough of the Hart pharmacies of the world. If you need meds do not go to Hart and Dilatush downtown without a pocketful of cash. I had spent my Social Security this month and I have 15 cans of corned beef and chili, my allotment of one can per day until I get my next check. Hart didn't show any shame about withholding my meds even though I told them I had spent my last dollar on cancer care (an electric blanket from Target because I'm freezing all the time). My review is based on my experience at the photo counter. When I walked up to the photo counter, the employee greeted me and I told her I was there to pick up a free 8x10 photo (if you're a Walgreens rewards member, every so often they give you an offer code for a free 8x10 photo with no purchase necessary) and also to drop off my FedEx return. She completely understood the 2-part mission and quickly retrieved my photo. Then, she asked me to input my phone number on this hand held scanner type thing, which I did, then she scanned my return and I was all done. I immediately received a text acknowledging my return and it gave me tracking options. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. Being this is considered one of the drop offs for FedEx returns, I found it really simple and easy.
