I like to think I'm a person who holds morals and ethics close to their heart. But even so much as…read more the thought of Dr. Paisner puts that to the test. Nothing fills me with more rage than the thought of that man. If I could give one piece of advice to any parent who loves their children: DON'T GO HERE. It's been almost four years since Dr. Paisner caused me to be hospitalized and I'm still dealing with the consequences. When I was 15 going on 16 I had a boatload of GI symptoms. Dr. Paisner was never helpful with them and gave me dismissive advice. My family finally made the decision to see a GI but the first appointment was two weeks away.  We made an immediate appointment with Paisner so we could get a parasite test as soon as possible before seeing the GI. Pasiner didn't bother giving one to us. He dismissed my symptoms, as always, and told me to stop eating dairy for two weeks. I did. And my symptoms didn't go away. When I finally saw the GI the first thing she gave me was a parasite test and told us we had to wait for blood tests till it was back. While waiting for the test to come back, my symptoms grew worse. The blood work indicated I had crohn's so I got scheduled for a scope so the insurance company could approve medication. But I didn't even make it to the scope. Three days before I could barely walk because of the inflammation. I got sent to the hospital and it turned out there was a massive fistula growing from my colon to my thigh area. This meant that I had one of the more rare and painful cases of crohns that Paisner so gladly dismissed. To this day I sometimes still suffer from symptoms and think about how my crohn's could've been reigned in sooner. The days I spent in between the blood work and my medication were the worst of my life. If I could turn back the clock and choose a different pediatrician, I would in a heartbeat. There's still hope left for you and your kids. Aside from his sexist moral failings, he was always a bit of an invasive creep. He once held us up for a visit because "I was too quiet." Wow I wonder why a teenage girl would be quiet around her weird pediatrician who doesn't believe her? I've never written a Yelp review before but there is not a single person on this planet I despise more than Dr. Paisner. If hell is real I hope there's a special place carved for Paisner in it.

Dr. Hung and Dr. Paisner have been responsive, open and complete when answering our questions or concerns. As first time parents, we often jump the gun after hours if our daughter is sick or has a fever and not wait for things to work themselves out. The guidance we have received has always been effective, and you get the sense that they know my daughter. My daughter, now that she watches Doc McStuffins religiously, loves to come here too! The receptionists have addressed our questions and scheduled appointments in a professional manner.

Ok, long review... sorry... but important…read more.. Both my children (daughter 10, son 10 months) see Dr. Soto. She is absolutely wonderful, very thorough, resourceful and gentle! My daughter has also been seen by Dr. Tokat and Dr. Rahkimova. Both are excellent doctors as well!! Saw the male doctor 3 times (Sutter) on sick appointments, his bedside manner could definitely be improved and he should try to be less dismissive. Wait times? Not too bad. Anywhere between 5-30 minutes (except on one other occasion, 1hr) Once intake is done and you're put into an exam room, it can take 5-20 minutes for the doctor to come in. Front desk/other non-doctor staff? Could be way better! I wanted to give 5 stars to the doctors, and 2 or 3 stars to the staff, but instead met in the middle and gave 4 bc I want others to know that this practice really has excellent pediatricians. I mean what parent doesn't want their kids to be seen by the best possible doctor?! But the other staff (I would say specifically the clerical staff) is subpar. Sometimes difficult to make appointments, call backs are never done, don't successfully change pharmacies and continue sending to the other location, do not triage (which was MAJOR when my daughter was close to having anaphylactic shock (!!) and left us waiting in the waiting room for almost an hour). Nobody behind that front desk is on the same page. These are issues that HAVE TO be resolved bc honestly FOR ONCE the game is flipped here. I've been to and seen and heard of many offices with great staff and terrible doctors but this one just has to get its staff in line. Better training. Better judgement. Be better prepared and on the same page. Better overall experience for both the parent and patient. Besides that side note... Consider coming here, really! The female doctors will NOT disappoint. Your child will have the best doctor, that's promised. If you ever have an issue with the staff (even if minor!) I'd say mention it to the doctors. They have to get better training or different staff. They've got great potential!

I called because I was having trouble where I live now finding a pediatrician. I called to see if my kids can go back there and the young lady that picked up the phone said that he doesn't take old patients back, which is weird because when I called the insurance and they said it it shouldn't be a problem since the kids were already going to him. And they treat you different if you choose not to vaccinate, which is not fair because if that is a personal decision, why would you be upset on what a family chooses that is none of your business and we have all these reasons why. Like I said before, the doctor is absolutely great. He was really good with it my son who has a lot of medical conditions and because we choose a Holistic lifestyle they prefer you don't come back even though the doctor was fully aware that I do not medicate my child because he had many reactions. We eat healthier and it has helped tremendously. I really wish the doctor would teach staff that when it comes to personal family decisions, they shouldn't treat families different because they choose to do things differently. The young lady stated that they are a pro vaccine office and I needed to look somewhere else if that is what I choose to do with my family. Not right at all. Dr. Rivera, please take a look at your staff and please teach them to be kind to people
