I switched from Verizon Internet and cable to Comcast. So far I have been completely satisfied with switching. Comcast gave me a better price. They came out to set it up and even helped me set up my new smart TV. Customer service was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time explaining their services and helping me find the right services for me. Their channel selection is amazing and I am watching all the new episodes of shows that Verizon never gave me. I highly recommend switching. read more

If there were zero stars I should give Comcast Annapolis a huge zero. After one week of no-show Comcast service staff I still have no internet however I must pay for it. Repeated phone call requests for help were answered by robo responses at first and then an appointment was again made and later cancelled without notifying me as I continued to wait for the arrival of help. Never again. Will find a new provider. Comcast customer support is extremely ineffective and I do not recommend it in the Annapolis area. read more

The system does not allow you to give zero stars...or this review would be a zero!!! This company is terrible! It feels like every interaction is worse than the one before. The system hangs up on you. It is nearly impossible to get an agent on the phone. The technicians do not bring the correct equipment...and the systems do not work after they leave. Unfortunately...we have limited options. If you can find another provider....use them!!! read more

I wish I could provide a zero star rating. I have been trying to get Comcast service connected for a month. So far after five phone calls to customer service over the past four weeks, three sites visits at my home, and two no-show appointments for final connection, I not only don't have Comcast service, they severed my existing service, and I am left with nothing. I decided to switch to Comcast because I got tired of how Verizon continues to penalize Netflix users simply because Netflix provides a better service than cable companies that overcharge for content you never want to watch. I had read reviews that Comcast had enabled the connections/bandwidth for its users that did not generate the buffering delays that Verizon users still encounter with Netflix. I wish I had looked more for Comcast service ratings. As frustrating as FIOS might be, don't switch, because it will only be worse under Comcast if my experience is an indicator. Clearly there is a complete disconnect between company management and what is going on in the field. Or perhaps they just don't care. Very poor service! When can I cut the cord! Was looking to change provider from Verizon but Comcast is higher priced than Fios. I put a order in for what I thought was cheaper service so I canceled it. Now I'm getting abusive robot calls from Comcast asking to reschedule my installed which I previously cancelled! Only one office in Annapolis and it's on an upper level in a building without an elevator so those of you who are handicapped as I am are screwed. Not a welcoming office area, dirty, a long wait, and CS is poor. I have to use these guys because it's the only internet/TV service for my apartment building. It's a monopoly! Internet is hit and miss so I have to use a Verizon Mifi hotspot as a backup or my cell phone to conduct business through internet. read more

I have been a Comcast customer for several years and grew up with this service. However the problems I have experienced over the last 2 weeks have been so infuriating that I decided to switch to another cable provider. I have been experiencing slow speeds and choppy service and have not been able to activate a second box. I would be more than willing to stick it out until Comcast resolved these issues if their technicians and other representatives had more respect for my time. I schduled an appointment when the problems started and was given a 2 hour window. The appointment was confirmed through an automated call and through a customer service representative twice. The Comcast technicians did not show up or call to cancel. I was not given an explanation. They simply dropped my appointment. I considered closing my account at the time but decided to give Comcast another chance since I have been with them for so long. I continued to troubleshoot on my own and reported my experience to customer service. A second appointment was scheduled. While waiting for the day of my next appointment I went to their Bay Ridge location in Annapolis to exchange a box (just in case it was the cause of my problems) only to find their door locked and lights off during morning business hours. There was no sign or notice on the door. It just looked like no one showed up for work. I had to go to the Severna Park location and after switching out my box the problems with my service continued. Even worse the technicians did not show up a second time or call to cancel. Who has 4 hours to sit around waiting for Comcast? I have wasted even more hours troubleshooting over the phone. After the second no show I asked to speak to a supervisor and he forwarded my complaint to a technician. After speaking to the technician it became very clear to me that Comcast is unable to resolve the problem with my cable and internet any time soon. They could not even give me a date or time. The technician didnt have an explanation or even seem to care. His tone came off as if he would be doing me a favor whenever he got around to it. They can keep their crappy service. I will be going over my final bill from Comcast very carefully. Im not paying for service I didnt receive. read more
