I called Xfinity to try to get a lower cost option for my internet service. Service keeps going up…read moreyear after year. The service agent, David, was not knowledgeable and took forever to answer simple questions. After being on the phone for 40 minutes and having the call dropped 3 times, I got my answer....they could not reduce the cost of service to a lower cost option. Lesson learned, don't waste your time with Xfinity customer service; it's a total waste of time!!!

For me it's those two things that really stand out. Customer service and "it just works." In terms of customer service, it's hard to do better. The company's response time to questions is very fast. That's pretty much what you want. As for "it just works," the Alarm.Com system and equipment they are a dealer for really gives you peace of mind. It's actually secure. In spite of what they told me two months before upon an inquiry I made. Instead they continued to debit my account. There is no way to stop it from your bank. Be aware of the scam and of their lies. When I cancelled with a form that I have to fill out, there was no acknowledgement. They still debited my bank account. They argued that there was a 3 days cancellation policy; this 3 months after my 3 year contract has ended. I have to yell for them to promise a refund for only 1 month. I am holding my breath. If this goes on, I will take them to court.
