I have been a loyal (and patient) RCN customer for 13+ years for cable and internet. My bill is…read morewell over $200/month for basic cable and 300mbs internet which is completely ridiculous. I have until now overlooked the increasing random fees and surcharges and their suggestions to call back repeatedly to try to negotiate a better price. What I cannot overlook is the horrible internet speeds we get. I call and complain to an Rcn representative almost on a daily basis. Every time I call and I run a speed test all of the sudden I'm getting crazy high speed internet. Then a few hours later I'm lucky if I get 5mbps connection. Attached are some examples. I have much more documentation of this phenomenon where one wonders if they're running a "rob Peter to pay Paul" scheme and don't actually have infrastructure to support all their customers. I am so frustrated and unless performance magically improves I will be actively looking to switch to another provider. If anyone has suggestions please message me.

I did have a concern regarding my purchase. On the receipt it states the activation fee and a Magsafe case for Apple Iphone 17, which i do not own. I called the store and Mohammed said it was actually a registration fee to set up the account and there is a glitch in the system so they don't have the choice of choosing that line item. I hope the glitch gets fixed immediately because I would like my receipt to display the services i actually paid for
