Had to jump through hoops to get this removed. Cancelled my cards and am waiting for new ones to arrive. Similar experience several years ago while trying to close out a family member's account. The account was charged after MONTHS of close and personal talk via landline. I don't wish to get into the deets however the employees of this company lie to suit their quota needs. File a complaint with the FCC. Next on my list.
