Monika's Come Heal Yourself Review Part 2 10/19/13 Received evening phone call from a Valley Medical Center physician regarding labs I had taken earlier in the day. My potassium levels were low and needed to go to ER. My older sister drove me to the hospital where I was admitted. They gave me potassium IV transfusions and more medication until I was discharged on Saturday, 10/19/13. 10/22/13 Emailed Monika to let her know I was in hospital. She was sorry to hear I was unwell and prayed that I'd feel better soon. Here's my response: Don't worry. I'm doing fantastic. My physical body is acting like this because I haven't taken care of my health responsibly in the past. Now that I'm being responsible, it's letting me know all the things I need to work on. Inside, within me, I am smiling and dancing and singing. It is going to take time before my inner joy is reflected on my outside. As you told me before, how could I remember my medical assistant course when my mind was overloaded all these years. I know that it will take time before it's reflected on my outside. I have held in years of fear(I jadded fear today), guilt, shame, depression, jealous, envy, low self-esteem, anger and worry. It has left me with a frozen face but now that face is softening however; it will take time. There is nothing instantaneous that happens. It's a gradual realization that becomes more concrete as time passes.(I've come to some life realizations about myself which has changed me. That's why there's a disconnect/gap in my timeline. But you don't want to listen to my boring story:) and I've already dragged on long enough w/this review:). 10/25/13 Monika at Come Heal Yourself is one of those people that really, genuinely cares about the people who come to her for help. She's not some slick, smooth talker who becomes your best friend while he's trying to get you to sign on a dotted line for a car you can't afford or the latest technological gadget that you don't need. She's real. However, don't come to Monika for fun as my friends and I used to go to fortune tellers. If you really have an issue and want to get some help, Monika can help you. Remember, her business is called, Come Heal Yoursef. She can give you healings, regression therapy and other things but she will not heal you. About two months ago I became interested in Reiki energy healing. I learned that Reiki treatment involves transfer of energy from the practitioner to the patient to improve the body's natural ability to heal itself through balancing of energies, so I found it imperative to be very selective as whom I will chose as my Reiki practitioner. I attended various meditation/healing Meetups and stumbled upon several people that offer Reiki treatments, but it wasn't until I met Monika during her "Come Heal Yourself" meditation session that I knew I found the right person. Day one I felt a warm and loving connection from Monika - not only towards me, but towards other participants as well. Monika emits amazing positive energy that's totally contagious, and her soft and soothing voice is made perfect for guided meditations. I instantly knew that I'd like to work with her. Being very new to this type of alternative healing, I honestly didn't know what to expect from the Reiki treatments, but I decided to go into it with open mind and good intentions. The first session was unexpectedly intense for me - lots of energy flowing from my head (I guess I had lots of blockages that needed to be removed). The second session was not as intense, and I was heading home very much at peace and relaxed. When attending the third session, I went into the treatment with an increasingly growing migraine (and from my previous migraine episodes I knew it would only get worst as time passed). After the one hour session was over, and as I was heading towards my car, I could not believe that I was totally pain free and in a complete state of contentment. I met Monika about 5 years ago where I received Reiki for the first time. Despite not having any physical pain or discomfort at the time, the experience was still magical as I felt a strong, smoothing energy washing over me during the session. I could feel my heart being healed and something was lifted from my chest. After Reiki, I asked Monika if there were other presence in the room during the session; it turned out that Archangel Michael and my two guides were there too! I want to recommend Monika to everyone. When you approach her as a spiritual healer,you get a friend & a guide along with it. She is a very compassionate being, and you can sense healing is her purpose of living. It was an amazing experience to attend a Reiki class in July 2011 with Monika. As she guided me through a healing meditation in the beginning of class, I felt darkness leaving and pure light entering my body! Since my little angel's birth in 2008, I was having severe back pain and during the class itself 85% of my back pain healed instantly. I just wanted to give an update. I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and had to have radiation every day for 7 weeks. I have also been seeing Monika for weekly Reiki healing. Even though I did still experience some side effects, they were very minor. Monika worked on removing the harmful side effects of the radiation. Reiki has been a true blessing through out my ordeal. My radiation oncologist even commented on how well I was. His exact words were, "Wow, I can't believe how well your doing! Monika is my Reiki guru and has given me attunement for Reiki I and Reiki II just recently this month March, 2012. After Reiki I attunement, I felt healed in many aspects of life physically, emotionally and spiritually. She was a good mentor also, during the first 21 days heal period.
