Nice park. Sears smaller than they could be and was a bit cramped. Lots of food offerings.

Comerica Park is a beautiful ball park and a must see if you're a baseball fan. The place has a lot to do too if the ballgame is not going well for the home team such as a merry-go-round, small baseball Ferris wheel, and things to see like statues of former great Tiger baseball players. As for the seating I've been all over the stadium and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The vibe a a Tigers game is always fun one and the organization does a good job of keeping the fans engaged. The food situation is pretty good for a ballpark. They have a lot to choose from. You can get something traditional like having a hotdog, pizza, nachos, or something else like some barbecue from Slows or one of the foods offered in the restaurants that reside in the ballpark. I will say though like all places where you are a captive audience (like an airport) that the prices are high and can add up quickly for a family.

I just love this ballpark! We had such a blast on opening weekend watching our Tigers WIN!!!! My bf shares season tickets with a few of his friends so we get to visit the ballpark quite a bit. I love hanging out in the Tiger Den and the buffet at the restaurant is outstanding!

Stadium #21/30 for me, and I have to say that I was delightfully surprised by how much I enjoyed the stadium. I'm not a Tigers fan, but you don't have to be a fan of the home team in order to enjoy Comerica Park... especially in a year where they've now made the playoffs and Tigers fans are having all kinds of fun! Obviously, you've gotta love all the tigers around the stadium and how much they've integrated tigers and other shoutouts to Detroit into the stadium design and experience. Very walkable stadium with plenty to see, from the carousel to the tiger sculptures or baseball ferris wheel to the various concessions. Also, the neighborhood the stadium is in feels fun and welcoming... before visiting Detroit, I wasn't sure what to expect (though did have friends who spoke fondly of the downtown area and how much of a turnaround its experienced). After visiting, I honestly have to rave about the neighborhood. We walked from our hotel (a bit over a mile away) to the stadium & back after the game... never once did we feel unsafe. Detroit has come a long way, baby! With that in mind though, I didn't drive to the stadium/game, so I don't really know what to recommend for parking. Ford Field is right next door though... and I'm pretty sure there was a parking garage on one side of Comerica Park? Might be worth doing some extra research if you're driving to the game though. Or just walk from your hotel if you're able! :) Anyway, I also want to add that the staff all around the stadium were fun, welcoming, and just absolutely lovely. My travel buddy ended up asking one of the stadium staff near a certain concession what his favorite item was to eating during the game, and he was more than happy to share his faves with us. My main qualm about Comerica is that it's hard to find seating in the shade during a day game. Listen... I'm of Irish and Scandinavian ancestry, so I've gotta find some shade or I'll probably burst into flames after being out in the sun for more than 30 minutes. I had done a bunch of research BEFORE buying tickets about what seats in the stadium would likely be in the shade during the game, and it seemed like the best bet was going to be in the very back rows along the first base line. I guess I didn't pick seats far enough back though? Like, I would have had to sit in the concourse. There just weren't really any options to keep this delicate little flower out of the sun. Lol My only other real complaint is that they have a pretty strict bag policy. I have a cell phone case that can hold a couple cards, but I had to give a bit more though than normal as to how to prepare for the game because I was flying into Detroit that morning, checking my luggage at the hotel, walking to the game, and I had my MLB Ballpark Pass-Port Book page and everything that I wanted to get stamped. Would love if the policy was loosened up a bit so a small, clear purse could be easily used... and I did see a person or two with fanny packs at the game. That said, the online bag policy on the Tigers website has pretty strict info and I didn't want to press my luck. So anyway... something else to be mindful of! TL;DR Comerica Park is a winner as far as MLB stadiums are concerned. Had a great time and would happily recommend anyone and everyone get there to see a game. :)

Today I learned that my company has a suite at Comerica Park and my director was able to get tickets for the team to enjoy. We didn't do the "catered" thing - we had dinner earlier outside and a few of us bought ice cream or beers for ourselves. Still, great to have a suite to enjoy a long defensive match between the Houston Astros and the Detroit Tigers! Comerica Park opened its gates on April 11, 2000, ushering in a new era for Detroit baseball after the Tigers left their beloved but aging Tiger Stadium. The park was built on the former site of the Detroit College of Law and became a cornerstone of downtown revitalization alongside Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions. The park has a great view of the Detroit skyline and there's plenty to see and do when you need a break from baseball. There's a carousel, they have statues in the back of Tiger legends Ty Cobb, Al Kaline and Hank Greenberg. There were multiple concession stands and several selling mementoes. I was able to get two very expensive beers and no fridge magnet. The guy said it was "tariffs" preventing acquisition. (I got it later on eBay.) A fabulous ballpark with great seats and a great game. Tonight, it was a 1-0 victory in the TENTH inning by Detroit! [Review 985 of 2025 - 464 in Michigan - 24539 overall]

Excited that a work trip allowed me to cross another ballpark off the list. I'm going to be honest- I didn't have high expectations for this one. As someone who spends their time predominantly following the NL West, the central teams take up little of my brain space. But, I left with a little special place in my heart for the Tigers! The ballpark is located in downtown Detroit. It's easily accessible and I was surprised that traffic around the area isn't horrible after game days. I had an easy time grabbing an uber to drop me off at the main gate and walked back to my hotel afterwards. The views from the park are superb. Sitting above home plate, I loved looking out at the skyline and taking in all of the views. One big pro about this park are the prices. I paid $12 for my ticket and had great views from above home plate. The park was comfortable thanks to the overcast sky. Food itself did have a ballpark markup but it wasn't anything crazy! They had a surprising amount of options beyond the usual favorites like pierogis and greek food. Weekday games can be a little tough because it felt like there were so many school groups there and students were racing through the walkways. But, it was a really enjoyable game and I had a blast! Comerica isn't the best ballpark I've been to (Dodger Stadium for the energy and Petco for the food), but it definitely breaks my top half!

My family enjoyed a Sunday kids day visit to watch the Detroit Tigers! Tigers Den was 100% worth it. We visited the Tigers den lounge and ordered nachos (and beer). Excellent and fast service! Parking was easy, security at the Meijer entrance was fast and efficient. We will be back!

As someone who grew up going to Tiger Stadium and now, Comerica Park, this is a great baseball field. It's in the heart of downtown Detroit close to many attractions. The park has many good features and most every single seat is a great view. First pointer is the park is cashless! Bring your visa, as cash isn't welcome here! Ok, now that I got that out of my system, let me write some more. There's plenty of entertainment so I get there early to see what's going on. They have historical statues of past players, the team and much much more. You can walk around and look at all the cool stuff they've put throughout the park to really see where the teams been over the years. They have a Tigers shop full of merchandise, but it's crazy expensive. I know they only promote authentic licensed products, but most of its so marked up I don't bother to purchase anything here. They do have security here and the past few times I've been they prefer you don't bring bags, purses or anything of the sort in. I understand why they do it but that also means I have to leave stuff in my car when I go here which is weird for me. I can't remember the dimensions but you are allowed a small bag that they search when you enter. The parkings good but it's all owned by Olympia entertainment. You can pre purchase through an app but the prices keep getting more expensive as time goes on. Such is life, right? Just factor that in when coming here price wise. The park itself is clean and has so many good food and beverage options! The alcohol can be expensive if you're a drinker, and most beer and such is about $12 to $13 dollars. They also have different seat upgrades and you can sit in the shade in a recliner and have food delivered to you personally. The screen at the park is new this year and makes following the game easy and fun. Overall, a good park with lots of amenities!

Enjoyed a baseball game here with some friends. It was a nice stadium with a lively crowd. Prices were on par for "stadium prices" but they had a lot of options for food and drink. We were up on the terrace which was a fun time, a lot of people socializing and enjoying being outside :)

Baseball park and home of the Detroit Tigers. Tonight they are playing in the Bronx against the Yankees. We wandered through the gift shop & admired all the cats.

Love coming to watch the Tigers! Ticket prices are reasonable but drinks and food are outrageous. They raised the prices a hot dog is $7.14 now. A beer is $ 14 and bottle of water that we use to think was outrageous at $5 is now $6.75. I suggest eating and drinking before coming here. The atmosphere is great, there is a lot to do for the kids. If you are baseball fan it's a great night out especially in Friday night with the firework show afterwards.

I love coming to Comerica Park! It is my favorite in the city of Detroit! Always a good time! Centrally located, nice staff, plenty of places to eat at and every seat is enjoyable! I always look forward to coming to Comerica Park!

On a mission to go to all the parks. Only at 9 now but this was one of my favorites! Beautiful park and so different than others with the carnival rides l. Didn't know they had a Ferris wheel and merry go round. How fun is that. And only 2 bucks to ride. Cool layout and spacious with so many bars. Only down side is that there's not too mush shade, so go at night!

    Any suggestions regarding accessible seating?

The staff and organization were also solid. The employees were friendly and helpful when we had questions, and the arena seemed very well managed. After graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in business and accounting, Boring nearly hit big as an owner of a professional basketball team. Boring, who was nicknamed (the legaly changed to) King because he took on and beat the school bully growing up, purchased the Detroit Gems in an era when pro basketball did not have the appeal that it does today. The Gems were a barnstorming team that played in cities across the country. The Gems struggled to make a go of it financially. In 1947, Ben Berger and Morris Chalfen bought the financially strapped Detroit Gems from C. King Boring for $15,000. After the sale was complete, Berger and Chalfen relocated the Detroit Gems to Minneapolis. Their home games were played at Minneapolis Auditorium and the Minneapolis Armory. The Detroit Gems were re-christened the "Lakers" in reference to Minnesota's nickname, "The Land of 10,000 Lakes". Berger and Chalfen hired Max Winter to become the Lakers' new general manager. Max Winter later became a founder and owner of the Minnesota Vikings franchise of the National Football League. Winter bought partial ownership rights of the Minnesota Lakers, but later sold them when he left the Lakers in 1955. We now know the Gems as the Los Angeles Lakers. Basketball was not the only place Boring made an impact. He also made his presence known in baseball. Boring served a scout for both the St. Louis Browns and Detroit Tigers. Boring also coached a Class A level team in Dearborn, Michigan. On four occasions his teams reached the Class A national finals. The last came in 1978. Fifteen future major league players played for Boring. Perhaps the most famous was former Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres first baseman Steve Garvey. Boring was elected to the Dearborn Sports Hall of Fame in 1978. The city's softball complex is named after him. Boring first got into sports while growing up in rural Salem. He played basketball, baseball and track in high school. Boring recalled when he went out for the high school team as a freshman, competition was very stiff. He noted 93 boys were out for the team, but he overcame the odds and made the varsity. Boring died in April, 1996. Close to the courthouse, police station, the Henry Ford Centennial Library, and is part of the Dearborn Community and Performing Arts Center. The indoor area features a swimming pool with a lazy river, a gymnasium with full basketball courts, a climing wall and a fitness center. The outside area is complete with two full-size baseball diamonds, including King Boring Field, a full soccer field, play areas and a concession stand.

The cobblestone streets are probably the leading factor, but there's just a lot going on here that says you're definitely in Ford Field and nowhere else. The negative about the concourses? They are far too small for the sellout crowds the Lions have. I love to walk the entire lower and upper concourse in a new stadium I'm visiting so that I can see everything. Here, this took me the better part of an hour just because I was essentially in rush hour traffic the whole time. Within the actual game itself, it's kind of a nice change of pace that there isn't an emcee screaming in your face about t-shirt tosses and other in-game entertainment during every whistle. That's a thing in live sports these days, but I actually liked the very throw back feel here. The fans knew to be pin-drop quiet durinng the Lions possessions and insanely loud when the defense was on the field. I appreciated that aspect too. Other than the concourses being way too narrow, this was a great place to watch a game.
