Stadium 28/30. This was my last stadium on my weekend trip, and it was definitely my favorite of the 3 I went to. As I was walking around the stadium, I loved the Tiger statues all over the place and at the entrances. They had cool statues in the outfield, and era specific Tigers highlights throughout the stadium. I was very impressed that they had multiple kids/family areas, too. They had a little ferris wheel type thing, and games for the kids to play etc. I had a ticket for Section 138, row 3 down the 3rd base line. It was only $11.00! Thank you Tigers, for not being good this year! lol. As I was showing my ticket to the usher, I asked if I could just pull up a seat up near the top of the section. He pointed me to an aisle seat and let me know that if people come, he would move me somewhere. He was really friendly, personable and everything an usher should be at a stadium! Tigers unfortunately lost, but I had a great time. Tiger fans are super chill. The view of downtown is great. I just really loved this stadium! Good times!

Amazing experience, worth visiting, from the entrance to exit you have people helping you and guiding you. Everything was clean and safe, food options are limited and I think management should work on it. Everything else was awesome

Nice park. Sears smaller than they could be and was a bit cramped. Lots of food offerings.

Checking off another MLB stadium ! I throughly enjoyed this stadium. It was amazing and so much fun. We got in 90 minutes before the start of the game. I'm so glad we did. The bag policy is super strict. No food or clear bags. The bag size was a little smaller than my tiny crossbody . We rode on the Ferris wheel $2 and there weren't any lines. They also had a carousel that cost $2 to ride. There's a lot of gluten free options. Look on the website for an updated list. One thing I wished I had known was the intense sun! My home base stadium is covered. We sat pretty low close to 1st base. I could see really well but it was so hot. I would recommend looking for shaded seats. There's so much to look at and lots of tigers! Super fun day. We walked from our hotel so we didn't have to worry about parking. Everyone at the stadium was nice courteous.

A great day at the ball game, I wish the tigers would have won, but as always the stadium always entertains. The tarps off guys were there! We had beer and hot dogs and of course some peanuts. We enjoyed our seats, really wish they could figure out something to block some of the Sun, but I get it right a ball game outside. If there's any drawback to Comerica Park it is the premium seating. They have put in so much premium seating that the regular Joe can't afford it, so the seats sit empty throughout the games. Come on guys, it's Americans past time, give us good seats for a good price.

Comerica is located in the heart of downtown Detroit. A great newer stadium with plenty of options for food and activities for the whole family. There are tiger statues at the entrance of the stadium. You get a great view of the city skyline anywhere in that park. Tickets are relatively cheap and a great way to enjoy the city and what it has to offer.

Great ballpark. Lots of history scattered through the ballpark. Love how you can see the field at all times while walking around. Great ballpark for kids and easy to grab food all around the park. Not my absolute favorite ballpark, but definitely in the top tier. A must visit for all baseball fans. If it's a sunny and hot day, try to grab seats in the shade, otherwise you are in for a little sunburn. Go Mariners!

I just love this ballpark! We had such a blast on opening weekend watching our Tigers WIN!!!! My bf shares season tickets with a few of his friends so we get to visit the ballpark quite a bit. I love hanging out in the Tiger Den and the buffet at the restaurant is outstanding!

Stadium #21/30 for me, and I have to say that I was delightfully surprised by how much I enjoyed the stadium. I'm not a Tigers fan, but you don't have to be a fan of the home team in order to enjoy Comerica Park... especially in a year where they've now made the playoffs and Tigers fans are having all kinds of fun! Obviously, you've gotta love all the tigers around the stadium and how much they've integrated tigers and other shoutouts to Detroit into the stadium design and experience. Very walkable stadium with plenty to see, from the carousel to the tiger sculptures or baseball ferris wheel to the various concessions. Also, the neighborhood the stadium is in feels fun and welcoming... before visiting Detroit, I wasn't sure what to expect (though did have friends who spoke fondly of the downtown area and how much of a turnaround its experienced). After visiting, I honestly have to rave about the neighborhood. We walked from our hotel (a bit over a mile away) to the stadium & back after the game... never once did we feel unsafe. Detroit has come a long way, baby! With that in mind though, I didn't drive to the stadium/game, so I don't really know what to recommend for parking. Ford Field is right next door though... and I'm pretty sure there was a parking garage on one side of Comerica Park? Might be worth doing some extra research if you're driving to the game though. Or just walk from your hotel if you're able! :) Anyway, I also want to add that the staff all around the stadium were fun, welcoming, and just absolutely lovely. My travel buddy ended up asking one of the stadium staff near a certain concession what his favorite item was to eating during the game, and he was more than happy to share his faves with us. My main qualm about Comerica is that it's hard to find seating in the shade during a day game. Listen... I'm of Irish and Scandinavian ancestry, so I've gotta find some shade or I'll probably burst into flames after being out in the sun for more than 30 minutes. I had done a bunch of research BEFORE buying tickets about what seats in the stadium would likely be in the shade during the game, and it seemed like the best bet was going to be in the very back rows along the first base line. I guess I didn't pick seats far enough back though? Like, I would have had to sit in the concourse. There just weren't really any options to keep this delicate little flower out of the sun. Lol My only other real complaint is that they have a pretty strict bag policy. I have a cell phone case that can hold a couple cards, but I had to give a bit more though than normal as to how to prepare for the game because I was flying into Detroit that morning, checking my luggage at the hotel, walking to the game, and I had my MLB Ballpark Pass-Port Book page and everything that I wanted to get stamped. Would love if the policy was loosened up a bit so a small, clear purse could be easily used... and I did see a person or two with fanny packs at the game. That said, the online bag policy on the Tigers website has pretty strict info and I didn't want to press my luck. So anyway... something else to be mindful of! TL;DR Comerica Park is a winner as far as MLB stadiums are concerned. Had a great time and would happily recommend anyone and everyone get there to see a game. :)

Today I learned that my company has a suite at Comerica Park and my director was able to get tickets for the team to enjoy. We didn't do the "catered" thing - we had dinner earlier outside and a few of us bought ice cream or beers for ourselves. Still, great to have a suite to enjoy a long defensive match between the Houston Astros and the Detroit Tigers! Comerica Park opened its gates on April 11, 2000, ushering in a new era for Detroit baseball after the Tigers left their beloved but aging Tiger Stadium. The park was built on the former site of the Detroit College of Law and became a cornerstone of downtown revitalization alongside Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions. The park has a great view of the Detroit skyline and there's plenty to see and do when you need a break from baseball. There's a carousel, they have statues in the back of Tiger legends Ty Cobb, Al Kaline and Hank Greenberg. There were multiple concession stands and several selling mementoes. I was able to get two very expensive beers and no fridge magnet. The guy said it was "tariffs" preventing acquisition. (I got it later on eBay.) A fabulous ballpark with great seats and a great game. Tonight, it was a 1-0 victory in the TENTH inning by Detroit! [Review 985 of 2025 - 464 in Michigan - 24539 overall]

Comerica Park is a beautiful ball park and a must see if you're a baseball fan. The place has a lot to do too if the ballgame is not going well for the home team such as a merry-go-round, small baseball Ferris wheel, and things to see like statues of former great Tiger baseball players. As for the seating I've been all over the stadium and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The vibe a a Tigers game is always fun one and the organization does a good job of keeping the fans engaged. The food situation is pretty good for a ballpark. They have a lot to choose from. You can get something traditional like having a hotdog, pizza, nachos, or something else like some barbecue from Slows or one of the foods offered in the restaurants that reside in the ballpark. I will say though like all places where you are a captive audience (like an airport) that the prices are high and can add up quickly for a family.

Excited that a work trip allowed me to cross another ballpark off the list. I'm going to be honest- I didn't have high expectations for this one. As someone who spends their time predominantly following the NL West, the central teams take up little of my brain space. But, I left with a little special place in my heart for the Tigers! The ballpark is located in downtown Detroit. It's easily accessible and I was surprised that traffic around the area isn't horrible after game days. I had an easy time grabbing an uber to drop me off at the main gate and walked back to my hotel afterwards. The views from the park are superb. Sitting above home plate, I loved looking out at the skyline and taking in all of the views. One big pro about this park are the prices. I paid $12 for my ticket and had great views from above home plate. The park was comfortable thanks to the overcast sky. Food itself did have a ballpark markup but it wasn't anything crazy! They had a surprising amount of options beyond the usual favorites like pierogis and greek food. Weekday games can be a little tough because it felt like there were so many school groups there and students were racing through the walkways. But, it was a really enjoyable game and I had a blast! Comerica isn't the best ballpark I've been to (Dodger Stadium for the energy and Petco for the food), but it definitely breaks my top half!

As someone who grew up going to Tiger Stadium and now, Comerica Park, this is a great baseball field. It's in the heart of downtown Detroit close to many attractions. The park has many good features and most every single seat is a great view. First pointer is the park is cashless! Bring your visa, as cash isn't welcome here! Ok, now that I got that out of my system, let me write some more. There's plenty of entertainment so I get there early to see what's going on. They have historical statues of past players, the team and much much more. You can walk around and look at all the cool stuff they've put throughout the park to really see where the teams been over the years. They have a Tigers shop full of merchandise, but it's crazy expensive. I know they only promote authentic licensed products, but most of its so marked up I don't bother to purchase anything here. They do have security here and the past few times I've been they prefer you don't bring bags, purses or anything of the sort in. I understand why they do it but that also means I have to leave stuff in my car when I go here which is weird for me. I can't remember the dimensions but you are allowed a small bag that they search when you enter. The parkings good but it's all owned by Olympia entertainment. You can pre purchase through an app but the prices keep getting more expensive as time goes on. Such is life, right? Just factor that in when coming here price wise. The park itself is clean and has so many good food and beverage options! The alcohol can be expensive if you're a drinker, and most beer and such is about $12 to $13 dollars. They also have different seat upgrades and you can sit in the shade in a recliner and have food delivered to you personally. The screen at the park is new this year and makes following the game easy and fun. Overall, a good park with lots of amenities!

The big screens, lighting, and overall setup make it easy to see what's going on no matter where you're sitting. It's definitely one of the nicest venues I've been to in Detroit. The food options were also pretty good for an arena. There were plenty of choices around the concourse--from pizza and burgers to other snacks and drinks--so you're not limited to just one stand. Of course, the prices are what you'd expect at a stadium, but the convenience and variety made it worth it. Everything we tried was fresh and hit the spot during the event. The staff and organization were also solid. The employees were friendly and helpful when we had questions, and the arena seemed very well managed. We got there early enough to park in one of the several lots close by. It was $20 cash to park but that's what I expected. The lines were long and we weren't quite sure which one to get in, since there were at least two branches that we saw. I think we figured out that they all led to an entrance, and the line actually moved pretty quickly. They had people going through the line checking vaccine cards, so we just had to get through a bag check/pat down right outside the entrance. I wish they had checked IDs and given wristbands in line too, because the bar lines were long and very slow. I feel like that would have helped speed things up a bit. All the staff we encountered were friendly and nice. We did find someone to direct us to our seats, which was helpful. The seat numbers are a bit hidden and definitely not that visible when it's dark. The seats were comfortable and we were mostly shielded from the blowing storm that came through right before the show started. It was so cool to see Canada and be on the water. I loved that aspect of the venue. There were a few bars, but again the lines were really long and they were out of two things we tried ordering initially. The menu was also confusing as it listed prices for some drinks but half the menu was just bottle service - I don't think anyone at this show was doing bottle service, but I guess it was an option? The restroom lines were long but moved pretty quickly. They did have restroom attendants which helps with moving things along. If you have a couple bucks, be sure to tip them. They keep the facilities clean and have mints/candy/gum and other supplies for use. The main complaint I have is that the parking situation after the show was a nightmare, with no one directing traffic at all, either in the parking lot or on the street. Probably not any fault of the venue but it took us about half an hour of just sitting in standstill, gridlocked traffic before we figured out we could turn around and get into a line of traffic that was actually moving. I'd be interested in seeing another show here in the future. We did mask up the whole time because it was pretty crowded, looked to be sold out even though we were outdoors I just felt better wearing a mask.
