They discharged my wife from care the same day of emergency tooth extraction surgery because Dr., or Dentist I should say, Stephen didn't call my wife's medications in that he said he would. When I called him out on it, he tried to make it seem she has medications already, even tho those are for her leukemia. He never called in the scripts, refused to show me any logs of him calling them in, blamed us for already having a script, but it's for a different disease and diagnosis, then kicked my wife out of care. I chose this dentist because of good reviews so I am shocked at my experience. I just moved to CO so this was my first visit and I was scheduled for a cleaning and exam. I have never had problems with cleanings and exams. The receptionist was courteous and the waiting room was ok. The assistant brought me to a chair and took at least 12 X-rays, which seems like a lot more than usual, then after a while the dentist came in. I think he was the dentist, he didn't introduce himself, he quickly lowered the chair and jammed his fingers and what I assume was a mirror into my mouth, and very roughly banged on one of my teeth with something, then asked the assistant for scrapers. He "scraped" the inside of my lower teeth, made my gums bleed and now they are swollen. The whole "cleaning" lasted less than 5 minutes. He didn't touch any other part of my mouth. Then the assistant came in and polished my teeth. That was pretty awful, too, because she didn't rinse til the end then sprayed it all over my face. The dental asst told me I might be sore from the dentist's "cleaning". I truly wonder if the guy was a real dentist. I've only had hygienists do cleanings and I don't know why they didn't have me see a hygienist. This whole experience was super upsetting. I've never been treated so poorly or had pain with a cleaning, never had bleeding or swelling. I will be filing a complaint to whatever agency needs to be notified and I would not trust the positive reviews. read more

The new address is on Hover though! everything was clean, sanitized and all the staff we dealt with was friendly. they were able to get my sons tooth pulled same day for us and get me a referral for my daughters molars to be worked on. i had an appt for today at 1145. checked in at 1130 ans told them to make sure the back knows i need nitrous (i do every visit). after waiting an hour (45 min past mt appt i wqs called back. sat for 15 min before dentist came in. intold them i needed nitrous and have my whole life and they didnt have itbready because "rhe front donesnt know" when i told the front to tell the DR. I had to call out of work for the rewt of tbe day bevause i was late for our trips, so someone else has to do them and i dont get my 170$ for the day (as long as i get app my pickups i get 150+20$ bonus). and now i csnt get ab appt until mid month In JUNE. this is crazy and they even gasloghted me. hopefully they are better in the future. i was also told i have to call every day to see if new opening , they could just call me. read more

Horrible experience! I made an appointment for a cleaning and had to wait an hour. I felt like I was just a number sitting in a chair. Ridiculous! I chipped my tooth over the weekend and the nerve got exposed. I called first thing Monday morning. I was told to call back between 8 and 8:30 on Tuesday and I 'might' be able to get in. I called back between 8 and 8:30 on Tuesday and was told the same thing. To make an appointment, I would have had to wait until the end of May. Even more ridiculous! I called the Boulder Comfort Dental and they got me an appointment the next day. I do NOT recommend the Longmont Comfort Dental. They are individually owned. This location is terrible. Try Boulder. Ten stars for EVERYTHING especially, polite staff! Dr Bradley and his Assistant Sam were incredible! EXPECT doctors who take the time to explain procedures and treat you with respect. My last Dentist (down the road) would sit behind me while talking, so I was forced to uncomfortably turn my head, he RARELY looked at me, and to top it off did an unnecessary procedure on a healthy tooth. i had to cancel two appts here because of my anxiety, both within the aloted time frame of 24 hours. i went in the other day and after waiting an hour they didnt have the nitrous ready so they rescheduled me for tomorrow the 11th. i just called to verify mt appt and they won't schedule me because i gave them a bad review after last visit. they even said i was being ressceduled, but 3 days later after they read my 1 star review, they canceled my apt and banned me. and in the chart it says from missing appointments, when i called ahead EVERY TIME. It was Comfort Dental that didnt give me notice either of these times and i had to call out of work. Comfort Dental is a franchise and it is only this specific facility that has issues. read more

I have been coming here for my dental works since 2015. I don't have any complaints, I like my doctor and he does a good job with my teeth. I see the majority of the complaints are related to the rude staff. I would recommend going elsewhere for dental services. It's a shame because I like my dentist here but the administrative staff is not professional and I'm taking my service elsewhere. I changed insurance and called to see if they still took it, and the receptionist asked me to "come in and drop off my paperwork." Really? I said no and to take my info over the phone and to call me back and let me know. Nothing. The following week I get a call from them asking to confirm my appt (I was trying to figure out if they took my insurance so I could keep or cancel my appt). I told them they were supposed to let me know whether or not they took my insurance. I was on hold for over 10 minutes for her to check. I called again and just told them to cancel because the follow through is horrible. She didn't even apologize. Get some better administrative staff, because these people don't care. read more

Depending on who's working, they never seem super friendly. I usually have to wait a little longer than my scheduled time by 10 min or so. One of the reasons I gave it a 1 star is because I'm not sure they know what they're doing.. I went to get my wisdom teeth pulled (unnecessarily) and they didn't even put me under. So the whole time i got to hear the crunching and scrapping and drilling of them taking them out. And the best part is, they were supposed to do all four of them and they were only able to do the bottom 2. So I got to experience excruciating pain in the roof of my mouth from the local anesthetic and they didn't even need to..... On top of that. My husband got a root canal there and got an infection because they didn't finish it properly. So now he gets to have 4 teeth pulled. The experience there wasn't the greatest and I feel weird when I go. Not sure if it's just because no one likes going to the dentist or if it just puts off a weird vibe. read more

This person got my fiance mixed up with a different customer and was very adamant that my fiance owed this store money. I am very unhappy with Comfort Dental of Longmont. They are only concerned about money. I have good insurance and they charge extra for people with insurance so that you have to pay more. Also, I got my teeth cleaned and they never scraped one tooth they sprayed my teeth with a water pick. I was told the day of the cleaning I would need to pay 179.00 aside from my insurance. I did not have the money then and said I would have to reschedule. I rescheduled only to be told I owe 266.00 now. I told them I would not be returning and would need to get a second opinion. Don't go here! They quoted me a price on a procedure, they removed my tooth, and before they replaced my tooth, they changed the price. They admitted it was their fault, but I was responsible for fixing their mistake. They are untrustworthy. They did acceptable work and were polite and nice, but they changed the cost by 57%, and that isn't acceptable. There's better, more honest dentists in town. read more

The dentist, Dr. Aaron seemed genuine and helpful when offering his expertise. I live up in Fort Collins and find it well worth the 45 minute drive to come see Dr. Jolly in Longmont. I've had everything from cleanings to wisdom teeth removed at his hand. I studied biology so I'm always eager to hear specifics of procedure and anatomy and Jolly is eager and willing to explain. I've always had an overactive gag reflex and hated going to the dentist growing up because of it, once you throw up on a dentist you never really want to go back... Jolly is very specific with you at the beginning of your procedure that if you are feeling uncomfortable or need a break to let him know- he's very accommodating in that way and I really appreciate it. He's always discussed options with me before we start a procedure like an extraction, given me tips on how I could improve my daily oral routine, and recommended products I could use to help even more. With any dental procedure there's going to be a level of discomfort, no matter the dentist, and even with the most healthy of mouths. I think some of these reviewers probably need to change their expectations; if you have tartar, they have to use a metal tool to scratch it off- you're not going to the spa, haha. Jolly is a great dentist, and like I said, I drive a ways to be able to receive his care because it's worth it. read more
