After the technician left, I viewed current online pricing for R22. I found prices for a 5 lb cylinder of $200 and 10 lb. cylinder for $350. In short, I was way overcharged. Never again White. I went with you because you're the largest company in town and figured I wouldn't have any issues using your company. Folks, steer clear of White Heating and Air. I had it done about 4 or 5 years ago and never really saw a big difference. He discovered that the main duct was blocked so did not get cleaned last time. He cut a hole and cleaned it out, then patched the hole with screws that can be taken out next time we need them cleaned in 7 or 8 years. We could not be happier. He said the vents that were cleaned 4 or 5 years ago were pretty clean, the problem was in the blocked vents. I used to have to dust every single day, now I can go 3-4 days without noticing much dust where it used to be thick every morning. I highly recommend COMET AIR DUCT CLEANING! They have cameras that show before and after cleaning and they give you a copy at the end. They also disinfect the vents they clean. I figured, okay it's a Friday so things must be hectic. Over the weekend I saw that he had an online contact form so I filled that out and anxiously waited until noon on Monday with again no response. If he was too booked to do the job, I understand but what I don't understand is not having the courtesy to call to let me know that I should be looking for someone else. I was fortunate to find another company that was prompt, professional, and fairly priced so my issue has now been corrected.

This was a $130 bill for less than a half an hour. My pilot light continued to not stay on so I called Bob and asked him if he'd check the thermacouple. He said no need since it lit. I went to the hardware store and bought a new one for $12 installed it less than half an hour in my water heater works fine now. I'm concerned about his thoroughness and his suggestion that I just replaced the water heater.
