Comfortable and quiet. Good nights sleep and great hot breakfast a little bit pricey at $174/ night but recommend staying here!

I chose Super 8 by Wyndham Chillicothe @ $74, noticing "No prepayment needed - pay at the property" I entered my AMEX no. to hold the room. Entered address into GPS and learned this wasn't in Chillicothe, OH. It was in Chillicothe, Missouri! An hour later I called the Super 8 to cancel. I couldn't understand the woman who answered the phone very well, but told her i needed to cancel. She said some things that I couldn't understand, but thought I had cancelled. While I thought she agreed, I wasn't totally sure, so I called back to clarify and then understood what she actually said was that I could NOT cancel because I needed to cancel at least 24 hours before. I pled my case that I had only placed the hold an hour or so before and what she was asking was impossible. Still I thought I'd be okay, because I was to "pay at the property". Upon returning home, I checked my AMEX to find that I was in fact billed, $84.65 for the room in Missouri, as well as a room we eventually stayed at in Circleville, Oh, the Hampton Inn. Still I wasn't overly concerned, foolishly thinking that Booking.com, would certainly correct the error, but instead more frustration ensued.

Plenty of clean towels and we appreciated the liquid hand wash (rather than the wrapped bar of dry soap), and plenty of lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was provided. A shower cap and makeup remover wipes were also provided. We were there with our dog and I love that the door to go outside has a giant window beside it so you can see if someone else with a dog is coming and can give them space to pass. Plenty of close grassy areas for your dog to go potty, as well as grassy areas a bit further away for more privacy. Also I love that the dog rooms were all on the first floor. The front desk staff were so friendly and professional. Our keycard wasn't working at first and before we even asked for another one, he already had 2 more for us! The breakfast was impressive- there was REAL bacon, mini cheese omelets, tater tots, delicious fresh waffles, and a variety of juices and other baked goods. Also, oatmeal with toppings. There were also a variety of condiments and spreads to choose from. In our room, we were surprised to have a Keurig with good-quality K-cups, Green Mountain brand. Our room was so quiet and we could not hear any talking from other rooms, except doors closing but it wasn't as loud as it usually is when we've stayed at other hotels. There is a Wal-Mart that is walking distance from the hotel which was very convenient. We would definitely stay at this specific hotel again next time we are passing through!

Quaint little casino with lots of parking stalls in front and an overflow off to the side. I'm not much of a gambler but my mom loves the game, especially the slots. She did not come up this time, but she had a great time. For me, being a non-gambler, I brought my laptop and settled in the tables near the casino's entrance. Hooked up to the wall outlet and did my thing. Watched as people queued up to receive their free gift for playing. They were handing out air fryers. They have eliminated almost all table games and the few that remain are never open most of the time. Only thing good is that it's not too far of a drive from anywhere in central Missouri and with Vegas now a place only for rich people it's about as good as it gets these days. Don't expect to win any money here though! They have the machines locked down tight as they seldom ever payout anything worth talking about. Oh , sure $20-$30 here and there on occasion, but who goes to a casino to win that small amount of money considering 90% leave poorer!
