They have gone…read morefrom an average of $120/night a few years ago to an all time high of $179/night when it is high demand. Which is crazy expensive for the area. They are a decent hotel, with a good breakfast, and they are clean and well kept up. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. The hotel can be noisy when it is full - they have a lot of sports teams staying there at times. The WIFI is not great - so bad in fact that my ipad didnt even recognise that it was even there. Since this is the only option in Napanee, there isnt much choice. But if the prices get any more expensive, I'll switch to Masterson's, which I have heard isnt too bad since their renovation.

Of all our Hilton stays, this felt the most not-up-to-standards. The staff are really nice though,…read moreespecially the young lady that worked the 3-11pm shift while we stayed there. There were issues with room cleanliness, quality of the supplies (bedding and towels), and noise. When we got into our room, we realized it was incredibly dusty. The TV, the counter, the beside tables, lamps... all coated in dust. The drawers hadn't been cleaned and there was still dirt from the last guests. The fridge still had a bottle of half drunk juice from the last stay and the shelves were sticky and had some food residue. The floor also had some dirt, small rocks from someone's shoes, and a dead bug we had to clean up. We were told theres been some complaints about the housekeeping standards and ....well... I can see why unfortunately. It also seems this hotel hasn't received updated bedding and towels for some time. The bed seemed somewhat clean, but the pillows seams were open so the feathers were just puffing out every time we lay down. I flipped it in the case so I wouldn't need to deal with it. Hilton pillows are usually the BEST but these were so flat and dull. I was really sad cause that's usually a highlight of a Hilton stay. I wish the corporate team would send this location some better, new pillows. The bathroom was clean, thank goodness, but the towels were super rough. They kindly gave us additional ones since we weren't given a floor towel and need an extra body one, but they were also really rough. Again, they sorely need new towels supplied. We were offered to switch into another room, but given that this was not a surprise to the front desk staff, we felt another room won't be much better and opted not to trouble her further for the night. She had no other staff with her so she was offering to clean the room herself. She was so sweet! Another thing is, we were woken up around 8am with kids running up and down the hall talking. We thought it was a neighbouring room and weren't sure why they were just hanging out in the hall. It was so noisy we couldn't sleep in, despite having planned for a relaxing morning. We realized that they were children of the staff. I really love that this hotel is providing employment for local parents, and ok with letting them bring kids along instead of having to find babysitters. But I don't think it's ok to let the kids wander all over the hotel. They were running around the breakfast area, going into the pantry space (which is where they prepare food), walking around the front desk looking at rooming information, and in and out of the rooms while staff were cleaning. That's not alright. There are guests trying to get some much needed rest. Again, I know for a small town, it's more relaxed sort of rules, and I really do love that they let staff bring kids to their shifts to help avoid needing babysitters. They should just provide the kids with a quiet space to play or watch tv without disturbing the guests. They had a nice pool to swim in. The whirlpool was not working, but I've read a few reviews that it hasn't worked in the past. Breakfast was great to have available. Loved being able to make our own mini waffles, and they always had cereal, oatmeal, egg, and sausage options. There's juice and coffee/ tea too. They tend to leave the coffee and tea available all day too so that's a nice touch. Staff are really friendly here. There's not really any other hotels in the area so this is probably your best bet for a decent stay with breakfast included. Wifi was also great. We were in the middle area so not near any corners. Signal was nice and strong enough to even stream movies.

I had no problem finding this location. It's across from a gas station that is still being built. There was plenty of parking. I parked, hauled my luggage and computer bag out of my car, and headed in to check in. I had a wonderful woman with a British accent at the check-in counter help me get all set up. I am a platinum elite member, so I got points as my welcome gift. I got my room cards and was shown where the elevators were. I love TownePlace Suites because you get a kitchenette. My room was compact. If you like roomy, perhaps this place isn't for you. It was roomy enough for me. However, it didn't have a luggage rack. It wasn't a big deal, though. I ended up placing my luggage on the floor and unpacked that way. Anyway, the kitchenette was stocked with an entire full bottle of dishwasher liquid soap. This is rare and a first for me. I have either been happy with a tiny bottle or had to ask the front desk for a bottle. I loved the generosity! I fixed myself snacks and made my smoothie drink with my personal blender. Breakfast is served downstairs. Otherwise, you can always make meals in your room for variety. I slept extremely well. I was on the top floor, which was quiet. The bed was comfortable and spacious. I watched TV from both my bed and the sofa. I was extremely comfortable. The washroom was clean. The shower was great. The water pressure was perfect. Housekeeping did a great job with my room. I was pleased. This hotel is within walking distance from Shoreline Casino, which is next door. You can roll out of the bed and then roll dice at the casino in two minutes tops. I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. I would come back again when I am in town. (338)

The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and well appointed. Great amenities and even a kitchen (full size fridge, dishwisher) that has all the utensils needed to prepare a light meal! 24 hours tea and coffee set up in the lobby area. A nice self serve breakfast which includes hot food. Ample parking and located right next to Shoreline Casino. (You can just walk there!) Highly recommended if you looking for a hotel if you in the area.

I CAN ONLY WISH THE NEW OWNERS THE BEST…read more So my mother and I went this year because we had a rebate (from old rsvp) we needed to use before the end of the year, due to the fact they are changing owners. All I can say, it was probable tim for this change. This will be taken over my Choice Hotel group (Comfort inn, quality inn, etc). You can see the potential of this estate, but yes, with years, they did nto keep up with the needed maintenance and lots of things getting broken or rotten. Our room was ok, except for the more than old sofa that kept itching my skin and making me cough. And when I opeend it, omg, did not want to sleep in it (pictures). Found an old cot bed outside the room and took it. The personel was really nice though. But this is a site for families and groups. We stayed at the lodge 1, in one of the suites. I would not call this a suite, but hey... I appreciated the inner patio with view on the lake. This was perfect to just sleep in, but I wouldn,t stay here for a logn run. Again, liek I said, it might all change with new ownership. Truly, so much potential...

The interior hallway with windows into your room is not only invasive, it allows light to shine in the room all night. No need to turn on the bedside table. Also poor water supply, sometimes very little water. No way could I have a shower this morning. Yesterday I didn't have hot water. Yes it got fixed but I had to leave for the conference without a shower on a hot day. The carpet is well worn and the rooms smell stale. The air conditioner works well, like a jet plane. Oh did you want to sleep. Not in room 226. Friendly helpful staff, but come on owners!! Do some updates. PS no breakfast and its 20 minutes to Timmy's Find somewhere else if you can

The room itself didn't have a fridge or a coffee pot, but right outside of our room was an area with coffee, ice, refrigerator, toaster, bagels, breads, yogurt and more. The location of this Inn was super close to restaurants and the Harbor(right in front of the Harbor), Sackets Harbor village is lovely also! I would definitely stay there again. We weren't expecting an incredible experience but we certainly got one! Judy was wonderful managing our reservation and warmly greeted us when we arrived. I like the concept of boutique hotels but sometimes find they can be too cramped or stuffy, not the Harbor House Inn. It's intimate but rooms are spacious so you feel like you can breathe. The room was absolutely amazing, farmhouse chic with a splash of coastal aesthetic. The soaking tub was to die for! The bed was very comfy. All the staff were friendly. Our room had a partial view of the lake, was a welcome surprise. The hotel is right in the center of town, perfect walking location to the battlefield, shops and eateries. All we wanted was a night away from the little ones but Harbor House Inn delivered a sweet experience. Highly recommend and will definitely return. It was worth the money spent!
