It's why we reserved the place. They also need to remove the signs in the pool area that indicate a "pool & spa." The manager was less than helpful, refusing to remedy in any way even after I offered to check out (I checked in only 2-3 hours earlier). She placated me by handing me the general manager's business card & to call on Monday. RUN from this place, as there are better options available in town.

The light switch as you entered the room didn't work, the AC was at its lowest settings so the room was freezing the little bottle of shampoo they offered wasn't even full, the furnishings were very low budget and there was only one little piece of art work on the wall, way in thr corner. Let's just say, I'm glad we just needed a few hours of sleep and get back on the road.

I didn't want to judge a book by its cover but I was right to do so. With the $20.00 pet fee our room for one night cost $130.00. The front desk clerk was friendly and took care of me in a timely manner. After getting our room keys we walked towards our room and right off the bat I didn't like this place. All the doors looked to be in rough shape, the walls and carpet were dirty, and there was a musty smell in the air. But after driving for 12 hours those things were no big deal. Upon entering our room the musty smell definitely got stronger. It doesn't smell like they clean the place more than once a year. The first red flag for me was that my cat HATED this place. The previous night we stayed in a different pet friendly hotel in a different state and he made himself at home right away. It took him hours here to stop being so skittish and actually relax. I trust my cats opinions lol. Wanting to get comfortable, I got into bed (which smelled like baby puke after they drink a bottle of formula) and went to turn on the tv. No signal. Messed with it for about 10 minutes until finally giving up. I decided to just connect to the wifi instead. Didn't work. Okay...I guess I'll just use the restroom and go to sleep. Flushed the toilet and it wouldn't stop running. It ran ALL night. I kept the bathroom door shut and could barely hear it so I didn't end up complaining. You're probably wondering why I didn't complain at all during my stay. It's only because I really just needed a place to sleep. If I was staying more than just overnight I definitely would have compiled a list. Overall I'd only recommend this place if you are desperate for a place to stay, but try all the other places first. It would even be worth it to drive an extra 20-30 minutes to a neighboring town.

I woke up the next day all good and didn't sleep that night, but trying to go to bed today a monday Nov 4th, I was once again bitten up by bed bugs, I will not be staying here ever again and I recommend everyone stay as far away as you can.

Several hours after I checked out they charged me $700…read more they scammed me out of $1,150 total in the month I was there and that includes what they charged after I had checked out but I finally got $700 back after gigantic efforts on my part.. They refuse to refund the rest of the money they incorrectly charged me. The air conditioner was broken in the 1st room so they moved me to another room. The fridge was broken in there. they brought a different one but the freezer part never froze anything and they never would change it. The carpets have stains all over the insides of the rooms and they smell strongly of stale cigarette smoke. The owners own 3 hotels all together, the Super 8, Days Inn and Econo Lodge, all in Lexington Nebraska. I work in construction and travel for work. i had left after I worked all day and drove several hours to Nebraska and was exhauste. I have a dachshund service animal. She is fully federally registered. I went to econo lodge first and the husband Nick refused me a room due to me having a service animal. I tried to explain the laws after saying ok that's fine but in the future you should know it is illegal to refuse service due to service animal and he said he did not care. So I went next door to days inn, not knowing the owners were the same people. Rita said I was welcome to stay but then quoted me a completely different rate which was $30 extra per day for a service animal and I was only allowed to stay for 2 days. Like with the husband, I said that's fine but in the future you should know it's illegal to do that and I explained American laws for a service animal. I did not throw any fits or get hateful with these people. I was so tired I just wanted a room not a fight. So I went to the 3rd hotel which was also owned by the same people. I did not know that yet. i spent a month at super 8 and I. that month, only one week was I charged correctly. every single week other than the one week, I was over charged and all they will tell you is they have fixed it and you should wait on the money but the money doesn't come. If you get a refund it's very likely to only be a partial refund. I would never stay here again considering it cost me an extra weeks worth of money after I had checked out and they refuse to pay me back. They keep saying they have paid me and on their end of things it shows we are even. since their systems are so trustworthy, there is no way her records could be wrong even though it is the exact same system that charged me all these charges. I even sent these people screenshots of my bank account showing the charges and where I only got a partial refund but they absolutely refuse to see that the math does not add up correctly and I have not been refunded. It's been a nightmare to get my money back.
