We only got two towels per room, couldn't get any more unless you turned in those two. During breakfast in the lobby, my son had to use the restroom so he tried using the lobby bathroom, but apparently that one is only for employees on some days.. weird because the day before we used that restroom all day because the one in the pool area was absolutely disgusting ALL day. I could go on and on but I'm just letting you know, customer service at this location is just absolutely awful and I wouldn't waste my money! I know I will not be returning.

The owners name is David Stephen's and he doesn't do any maintenance at all. There are 10 rooms and the showers didn't work in 3 of them. There are exposed wires and smoke detectors with no batteries, just plenty of cockroaches in them. The motel is ran by a couple who live there. There are drugs in most of the rooms. I would strongly advise anyone with children, or decent folks to avoid . We had lots of breathing problems while we were there, probably because the walls are full of black mold. Elevator was a little slow, but the stairway didn't look like a great place to commit a murder, unlike most hotel stairways (don't ask me how I know ). Clean indoor pool. We tried taking one cookie each, but tuat didn't go over well with the staff. Here's how that conversation went. "Caleb, did mom and dad want a cookie?" "No, Braden, they did not." Hotel staff replied, "Please! Take some extras anyway! We just baked them and we only have one more arrival today!" Can you believe that? The tv was actually larger than my 50 inch at home and had great channels. This one hotel has messed up my entire theory of hotel cable. Maybe it's an anomaly, but in all the years I have been traveling for my career the equation has been the better the hotel is the shittier the cable. They gave me a handicap accessible room on the first floor and it was the first room when one walks in- as all handicapped rooms should be. My family and I booked the room specifically so our children could enjoy the pool over the weekend. We are local, so the pool was the only reason for our stay. When we arrived, the front desk staff completed the check-in process and only afterward informed us that the pool was closed. Had we been told this before checking in, we would not have proceeded with the reservation at all. Because the pool was unavailable, we stayed in the room for less than an hour while trying to resolve the issue. The front desk told us they could not cancel since the booking was through Expedia, so we contacted Expedia directly. Expedia reached out to the hotel, but the hotel declined to issue a refund even though we did not stay and primary amenity we booked for was unavailable. Charging nearly $300 for a stay we could not use is unfair, especially when the lack of disclosure prevented us from making an informed decision. We would have never checked in had we been told the pool was closed. I have stay at this hotel many of times and have never had issue this time however was different. The pool was the reason i left however, i was upset already because when we arrived she said there was a 250 deposit which I have never had to pay all the other time we stayed and she was going to cancel then and I said no ill figure it out however if she would have informed me the pool was close before checking us in I would have let her canceled. To my surprise, there was still an available time slot so I quickly booked it and waited with anticipation for our time to arrive. We checked in at the front office where we were greeted politely and were given instructions on how to get to, enter and use our sauna pod. The Pods are located right across the street from the Chalets so I was worried at first about having adequate privacy but once we entered the Pod I felt I was transported to the middle of the woods. My favorite part of the Pod was that it was Bluetooth equipped so I was able to play some folk music over the speakers to enhance my woodsy experience. Towels and bottled water are also provided for you in the Pod. We booked an hour, which I thought might be too long in the heat for me personally but after taking the recommended breaks, it didn't feel long enough. We emerged from our Pod soaking in sweat but refreshed and with every endorphin in our bodies firing. It was a fabulous experience!

I couldn't figure out what it was but the entire building was just loud. Like so loud, I couldn't sleep. Had I known, I would have brought ear plugs and trust me, I have them thanks to living in the city. Despite not being able to sleep my two nights there, and constant loud ass humming all throughout, the rest of the experience was solid. The space was comfy, included all the necessities, and they even plowed the driveway after the snow. I love coming here and the Chalets are a great choice. I just might ask about the sound issues on my next visit.
