Staff was friendly upon check in. $150 a night was a little steep though, they have a heated pool that is open 10-10 and a hot breakfast from 6-9am. The elevator had a weird smell and our room was even worse!!! Smelled like mildew:( There is a fridge in your room as well as a tv and microwave but u have to go to the first floor to get ice and the vending machine only had water and orange crush. The bed was extra firm, but the pillows were fluffy but it's hard to get over the smell, had to run fan all night because it was so musty. Woke up early to try the breakfast, not bad , they had 2 different kinds of waffles, eggs sausage and biscuits & gravy, it was a little salty in my opinion. They also had fresh fruit, pastry , bagels and toast. And finally the most annoying part is there is NO cancelation after you book your reservations!!! Location perfect. Couch outdated and stained. Didn't use it or notice it at check in. It looked like it was cleaned but stained. Wore white socks during stay and remained clean. Lots of small issues followers by the worst when I went to check out the lady at the front desk asked if I wanted it printed, I said yes. She then spent 10 min clicking away at her computer and said it was emailed to me which it has not been. I said I needed it printed and she told me I did not need to be rude..... I was like I asked for a copy of my bill you told me I could have one and I need one to get my money back from my company. Talk about rude this lady.... wow. And no idea how to do anything and I am still at the front desk waiting for it. Hopefully this other lady is able to figure it out. Do not stay here. Rooms have problems, they tell you they will fix things and they don't do anything. Then they move you to another room that has issues as well. Stopped after a days drive. Well lite parking. Front desk very nice. Went up to room and bed was messed up and used tea bags were on the dresser. Changed rooms as I wasn't sure how well the room had been cleaned. Tv had issues kept pixelating. Breakfast in the morning was ok. The orange juice was watered down, didn't even look like juice. Had to ask for sausage only 1 pattie was in the warmer. Overall an ok stay. Not sure I would stop again. read more

We stayed over 11/1-11/3/19 and had two rooms. Neither room had hot water, to which the hotel's answer was to run the water for 15+ minutes. So, hotel staff wait to wash their hands in warm water? I think not. Also, that means the laundry is done in cold water. Yuck. Breakfast - they served rancid sausage and then blamed us for them throwing it out because we said it tasted bad. My ice bucket lid had mold on it, and they were not concerned. Both rooms had garbage in mutiple areas. Showers were nasty. Pool looked like the sides hadn't been cleaned, but was okay. Go elsewhere, especially for breakfast. There is a Waffle House just down the road. read more

Traveling through the area we needed a place to lay our heads after a long day of driving. Little did we know that every hotel was booked in a 100 mile radius of Indianapolis due to a National Firefighter's convention. Except this particular hotel had one room left. So we drove an extra 25 miles east of the highway we were traveling on to sleep. Front desk clerk was very friendly and inviting. We were just happy to find a room after searching in every little town from Louisville, KY until we got here. Hotel was older and under construction, but at the end of the day as long as the room was clean we were happy. It was, we would gladly stay here again or another Comfort Inn if needed. We got the room as a blind buy. We arrived and parking was very limited. The lady at check was very friendly. They were under remodel. The elevator was scary. We refused to use it and walked up the stairs to top floor. Luckily it was only 3 floors. The 3rd floor was finished with the remodel. The doors gapped about 2 inches at the top. The rooms were clean and comfortable. New bedding. Walls were paper thin. We heard someone yell come on jack for about ten minutes. Apparently jack was in no hurry. Contacted hotel prior to making reservation to find out pet fee and was told by Martina that it was $30 for the entire stay. After making reservations contacted the hotel to let them know we made the reservations so that they could reserve pet friendly room and was told by Beth (Manager) that Martina was incorrect and pet fees is $30 per stay and she would not honor Martina's commitment. Beth was very rude and unprofessional and actually hung up during the conversation. Update: My wife received a phone call from the new owner (who has only owned the hotel for 3 days) and he was very courteous and apologetic for the customer service experience we had.
