They came out the same day, gave me estimates for both repairing and replacing the system, and helped me weigh my options. Since my unit was 18 years old and had needed more service recently, I decided to replace it. Their team came out the next day and, even though I wasn't home, replaced the entire unit with an Amana variable-speed inverter AC unit and compatible heater in one long day. Dylon returned the following week for a quality-control check, and the system has been very quiet while keeping the humidity in the low 50s. All this to say, on pricing alone I would give them one star. They grossly over priced the services they provide. Paid almost $600 for simply a capacitor. That is $100 part AT MOST. Our AC system needed to be serviced and one unit was making noise. I was actually able to contact and make the appointment ALL via Yelp within minutes! That was awesome! All of my initial questions and possible pricing scenarios (of course, they could not quote an exact price) were discussed on the Yelp platform. The technician who showed up is Rueben and he was fantastic. He examined the systems and then explained all work that needed to be done and gave specific pricing for the work. The hubbs and I only had a specific amount to spend at this time on the system, so Rueben let me know what had to be done immediately to ensure we'd have AC throughout the summer, and then what we could wait on, but need to have done by early fall. We had to wait on some parts, but Rueben gave us a realistic time frame and let us know when he'd be back to install the parts. He was very thorough and I sincerely appreciated how well he explained everything he did. I will definitely be scheduling my follow up appointment in the fall, and I am now using Comfort Masters for annual maintenance on my ac/heating systems. I have really struggled with how to rate comfort masters. First of all: they respond super fast. If you call on a Sunday in a panic, they will answer your call, talk you through it, and offer to send someone if necessary. Their staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I even really liked the technician they sent. That said, he pitched a cheaper alternative to what we needed done and we ok'ed it with the caveat that price was less important than the job being done right and not needing constant attention (water leaking through the ceiling from the ac). The job was not done right the first time. It was not done right the second time. And by the third time, we were given an estimate for our initially requested repair that was TRIPLE the initial quote (informal ballpark- but not really in the ballpark). They didn't charge for the follow ups to fix the original issue, so I didn't feel like they were gouging us or anything, but the solution was misrepresented as final until the third visit when he said it was only temporary. And now we need to find someone else to do the job. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company's work, but i do appreciate the things they are doing right. read more

Outstanding service. When I replaced my A/C in 2013, I had 3 bids. They were the middle price but unlike the other 2, they provided a 2 page list of everything they were going to do for the money. This included re-sealing all of the ducting for leaks. They finished in one day doing everything they promised. I signed up for their service contract. They have been on time and very thorough in maintaining the system. The techs are friendly and competent and the office staff is responsive. I have enjoyed my Trane air conditioner since 2019 and have it serviced for routine maintenance twice a year. I especially like controlling it from my smartphone! I did have some issues in the beginning, but they were immediately corrected. Jamarcus is the technician that was sent this year for both spring and winter maintenance. Very quick response when A/c wasn't working. I knew it was a capacitor, asked them to check system and they agreed it was the capacitor. I was offered a lot of items to enhance the capacitor, which I chose not to take; lowering the price considerably. Not pushy selling just offering. So with that all said an educated consumer is best and this company is a good one. Loved their receipt with pictures etc. I know technology Costs a lot as well as all the operational costs. We have two separate units in our home. In January 2022 our main unit went out. Comfort Masters did a fantastic job for us and super quality work. They moved the original inside unit from a closet into the attic and added two new return air vents. They had our heat running again the same day, and except for the two new vents you would never know they had been here. They wear shoe coverings inside and remove them when they are outside. They cleaned up everything and left no trace! We were so impressed with the quality of work and equipment that we decided in December 2023 to replace our second unit before it went out on its own. We welcomed Comfort Masters back and had an equally happy experience. We have service contracts with both units. We couldn't recommend Comfort Masters any higher!! Technician arrived toward the beginning of the service window, was very courtesy and put shoe coverings on before entering the house. He was knowledgeable and did a full assessment, inside and outside, for the AC system that was having problems. He provided a good explanation of his recommendations, including which things were the most important. In my opinion, the important things were the only ones that were really necessary. Other recommendations were things like surge protectors, which are a great idea, but is not why my AC unit froze. Necessary repairs were $800, with all their extra recommendations the invoice I was shown was over $2k. Giving a customer sticker shock isn't a great sales tactic. However, they weren't pushy, so it wasn't an issue in the end. read more

We initially had a company called royal heating and air come out to diagnose our ac unit. My unit was dripping water through the rusted drain pan onto the floor leaking into our master closet and they told me it was low on Gas. Long story short their management mocked me and proceeded to hang up on me. Needless to say Geno with comfort masters was a breath of fresh air! He told me my drain pan was rotten and then found a leak in my evaporator coil! Thank you my man for coming out and helping us diagnose this problem professionally and correctly! The technicians were very nice and respectful so I want to give them that... however I now sit in my house burning up because they disconnected everything and didn't hook it back up. Which makes me wonder how they even checked to make sure what they did worked. Summer of 2018 my a/c bit the dust :( i called and had someone come out and they told me how much to fix my 30 year old system. They also told me that the freon that my ac used would be discontinued in 2020. Ugh so then i had to weigh my options fix or replace. I decided to get a few quotes to get a new system installed. Comfort masters was one of those quotes. They came by to give me a quote and take a look. Gave me the pros and cons of my options. There wasn't a pushy sales pitch and i felt like they understood it was an financial option that most arent prepared to make even when they are sweaty and miserable in the house. Soo here we are a year later and yep last summer we had comfort masters install a new system. BEST DECISION EVER! After getting a new system installed it has cut my electric bill in half and that pretty much pays the loan i had to take to get the new system! My house stays cooler than it ever did before! This SUNDAY of labor day weekend we woke up and there was no power to the ac, we troubleshot the prob and couldnt figure out so we called comfort masters and they came out the same day!
