We stayed on a Friday night. The parking lot was almost at capacity when we arrived. The room seemed pretty clean and there were no surprises. Noise wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Don't count on the free continental breakfast. It's a cattle call for people who haven't eaten for a week. The dining area looks like a swarming ant hill with folks in a mad dash to grab everything in eyeshot. I had a hard time just getting at the coffee machine. After a long day of driving, we needed a place to sleep for the night. Desk attendants were so nice. Next morning Jessica and Angela had breakfast buffet ready and food was great! We stayed here for two weeks. It was wonderful then. We didn't expect any problems whatsoever when we booked a second time. I booked a week in advance and they called me 3 1/2 hours before check in time to inform me that there was a smell in our previous room. And that they are canceling our reservation and we're on their list to never be able to stay there again. Me and my wife and my 15 year old son are affected by the last hurricane with damage that took out our home of 15 years. Me and my family can verify that there wasn't any smell in the room. The hotel is in a great area with a lot of restaurants. The hotel itself is nice and well maintained. The night I stayed they were having a retirement party and it was loud. I'm sure under normal circumstances it is a quiet hotel. The beds and pillows were great. The coffee must have been good too because my husband kept drinking it. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Comfort Suites, GA491, Valdosta, GA on October 19-20, 2023. We had a two queen suite. When I turned down my bed my comforter had several blood stains on it. I took it to the front desk and the front desk employee was very apologetic, and gave me a replacement comforter, which I had to put on the bed myself. After remaking the 1st queen bed, I turned down the 2nd queen bed. It had blood stains on both sheets and the bedspread had a sticky substance on it. I then went back to the front desk, expressed my complete and utter disappointment! I again was given fresh sheets that I had to put on the bed. To her credit, the front desk clerk did offer to move us to another room, but it was after 10 pm and we were all unpacked, so I declined. Then I stated that I would like full compensation for my stay. She informed me she was going to text the manager about my issue(s) and request for compensation for my room. Upon checking out at 7:45 am on the 20th, the same desk clerk was on duty, and she informed me that the manager compensated me $50! I was compensated $50 for having to go the the front desk twice with blood soiled bedding, and had to make 2 beds when I should have been relaxing and preparing for a good night's sleep. Very clean, staff friendly. However I gave 3 stars because the "hot breakfast" was microwave sandwiches. Not bagels, no toaster, 1 type of cereal. We paid too much money for a microwave sandwich. I could've saved myself $100 by going to the Super 8 and a gas station. read more

I had a great experience at this Comfort Suites! The lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly. She gave us a coupon for Papa Johns when we asked if they deliver to the hotel. The room was cleaner than most hotels I've been to. The comforters are very soft, and the bed is very comfortable. The restroom is very clean. The rooms even have a sofa and microwave. We stayed here during our trip to Wild Adventures. They sell discounted discounts here. The breakfast was amazing, especially the sausage and eggs. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel! read more

The hotel was fine but room 305 could use some mold remover in the bathroom and the faucet needed fixing to stop the dripping. I got a great rate and for just one night I won't complain. Good social distancing practices. Not much in the way of breakfast due to pandemic but that can't be helped I guess. I'd stay there again. read more

We have stayed here several times and everything has always exceeded our expectations; the staff, the rooms, the breakfast, etc. This time it was just slightly disappointing, the cleanliness of the room was not up to my expectations. I like a clean bathroom and when there is debris on the toilet seat and hair in every corner of the bathroom there is no doubt the cleaning crew needs more training and random inspections. I was in the Army and know the basics of a clean bathroom. These photos don't lie, see for yourself (zoom in and you will see what I could see) also the little freezer inside the refrigerator had several long black hairs in it. It was disgusting. Otherwise everything else appeared to be clean. We will go back and hopefully they have corrected this issue, if not we will stay next door at the Holiday Inn Express (I know they have the same owner but it seems a bit cleaner maybe because of the renovations). Nice place to stay. Conveniently located off 75 and plenty of places to eat near by. Super friendly staff and clean rooms. Had to go with 3*'s as being avg though b/c of wi-fi service! Less than 1mbps up/down so if you are like me and need internet to handle business while on the road and away from home I would find another place to stay. read more

Check in today everything was fine needed to leave could not get in my car vehicle next to me was so close I could not open my driver side door neither my wife or myself were going to try to get over the middle consel of the car were in our 70s I would also add a 40 year old would have a problem doing this. Went for help at front desk all I got was attitude being a choice member not for much longer they lost a very good customer. I know hotel staff had nothing to do the way the vehicle was parked I was very nice all I wanted was to get my car out very rude staff I will add the vehicle next to me was a small motor home why he park there I don't know read more

This will be my regular hotel if I return to Valdosta. It is convenient to everything in town, from the campus, Wild Adventure, to the Hooter's which shares the parking lot. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful. Lots of reasons to stay here. a very decent free breakfast and most importantly, they have a fantastic evening reception, 5-7 free wine and beer and light snacks. Anytime you give me pimento cheese and free beer for two hours, you've got a fan! read more

A little bit pricey but oh so worth it. We a the 2 queen suit. Pluse It had a pull out full size couch that my 17 year old said was very comfortable. The 2 queens where pillow tops and had your choice of soft or firm pillows on them. Bathroom was very clean and spacious. Breakfast in the morning is short but very hot and delicious. We had both scrambled eggs and hard boiled sausage links. You could make your own waffle or have a variety of donuts or muffins. All the staff we incountered were very friendly and helpful. This will be my choice of hotels when ever we come back to Valdosta read more

Stayed here a few years ago on our way up 75 to Tenessee. It was fairly new and we just happen to get off this exit. It was getting late and colder out. The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was friendly and very helpul. The room had 2 double beds and a nice sofa pull out ;which is great when traveling with kids.Prices were reasonable. The hotel was quiet. They have free parking and breakfast. The only downfall was the coffee was weak,so if you like a strong coffee, go to a Starbucks to get your coffee. Other than that our stay was enjoyable.Would recommend this hotel and stay there again in the future. read more

We stopped here on the way to Disney and we made the right choice. Great accommodations and one of the few places that could accommodate 5 comfortably in a room. The staff could not have been more responsive, personable and accomidating! My friend and I had driven 48 hours straight and were greeted with smiles and a quick delivery to our room. I have stayed at this hotel many times for work requirements in Valdosta. The staff is very friendly and always willing to accommodate any requests. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. The breakfast is decent and the manager reception (Monday-Thursday) is incredible! Also this hotel is in close proximity to several restaurants and easy to walk to. Stayed in this hotel both to and from Florida. Extremely clean, quiet, reasonably priced and very friendly staffed. Would suggest to anyone
