We utilized Wishbone Pet Boarding for a daily day care, five days a week for six months while we were working in the area. Our dogs enjoyed the affection and nature walks provided by Wishbone Pet Boarding. Each morning the dogs would jump out of the truck, ready to go on their walk around the grounds.

We recently boarded two dogs at Wishbone. When booking the Kennel, I told Henry not to put the…read moredogs together and that they were not to interact as they did not get along with each other. When we dropped off the dogs, my wife spoke for 30 minutes about keeping the dogs apart. On the second day, we had a phone call from the kennel stating that the larger dog had attacked the smaller dog and it had to go to the vet for a minor puncture wound but everything was ok. Unfortunately, when we picked up the dogs, the smaller dog had three puncture wounds and a 3" cut on its neck. We learned that the owner of the kennel had been walking the dogs together and that the larger dog turned and attacked the smaller dog. Instead of trying to separate the dogs, he hit the larger dog until it let go. As a result of this incident, we were forced to euthanize our larger dog. I feel that our decision to euthanize our larger dog was hastened due to the kennel's neglect in following our clear instructions.

In what world does using a dremel justify and additional $14. At no point was such a gross additional fee ever mentioned. They didn't even get the front nails on my dogs paws evenly cut. Reasonably priced, excellent staff, good food or bring your own. I have trusted her with several daycare 11-4 p.m. Just to see her getting used to the other dogs, kennel and owners. She's highly sensitive husky mix. It took a few visits. We got to a weekend, a week and one ten day stay. When the last thing you want to worry about on vacation, on a tight budget, is your dogs well-being ... I trust Nopawblems. She's is a little highly stimulated each time. She prefers home. But she's not upset or frightened. I am secure with my choice. If anything comes up she is in the best hands.

I took one of my young dogs to a session with Joyce for help with his aggressive behaviour. I had sought help previously from a series of recommended trainers and vets. In one session,Joyce provided me more help than all the others combined. One of my very old ( 16+) dogs refused to eat one day. Realizing that this was not normal for him, and knowing his age, and after trying unsuccessfully to reach me, they took him into their home and sat with him. He passed away peacefully in a few hours, in the company of loving humans. After speaking to me, they took him to a local vet and had him cremated and gave me the ashes. It was a hard sad time, and I cannot imagine a better way to end a long life. This is absolutely the best place for a dog to be. The only drawback is that they are so good- and it is not easy to get a space.
