I don't know how much money I've wasted having keys made at Big Box home improvement stores. Their automated machines and not-so-knowledgeable clerks never get them right. Save yourself the aggravation and go to Bill's Lock & Safe first. They've obviously been in the business for years and know what they're doing. Plenty of friendly smiles here, too. read more

What a help Robert was. I lost the only key to my motorcycle and thought I was doomed. I was able to remove the ignition barrel from the bike and drive it down there. Robert being the master he is. He was able to make a rough cut key that worked for the ignition. He told me "I'm not gonna charge you for this. Ride the bike down her and we'll sort out the gas cap." I did just that. He picked the gas cap lock and made me a new set of keys in about 20 min. What a life saver. Very fair price as well. I would recommend them to everyone. read more

Broke my car key in half. Wasn't sure it would be able to be copied. Not only were they able to copy it, but they didn't have me pay until they were sure it would start the car. I've never duplicated a key before, so I didn't know what to expect. I lost my mail key and had to borrow my roommate's key. I tried an automatic key duplicator machine at Walmart first, and it wouldn't accept small keys of that shape. So I decided to go to this store. They have a huge selection of key sizes. I was in this store for a grand total of 2 minutes, and paid something like $3. It was the fastest and easiest transaction ever. Highly recommend! On a typical work morning, I go to put my car key in the door and before my unbelieving eyes it snaps in half! I quickly realize it was my only key, as I lost the copy a few months ago, so I go online for a locksmith. The first place I called said they couldn't make a duplicate from a broken key. They needed to come to the car ($30), get the vin number, and create a new key on site ($120 minimum). I was missing a day of work as it was; I couldn't afford this. I went on Yelp and immediately recognized Bill's Lock & Safe as a place I used to go as a boy living in the neighborhood. I grabbed my key pieces, hopped on my bike, and rode over. Robert was great! I explained what happened and gave him the key pieces. I offered the vin number, but he only needed the make and model. "Well, let's see what we can do." Ten minutes and a fresh cup of coffee later, I was leaving with a replacement key for under 5 bucks! He even sent me off with a few cards for free duplicates in the future. I needed to get a copy of a key made for work. I looked up different locksmith's in the area and this was the closest. Glad I came here. I was greeted immediately by a someone. I told him what I needed he took my key and within a minute was done. I paid and off I went. The key worked right the first time. Beats going to Home Depot where you wait 10 minutes for someone to come help you then have to return twice because the key wouldn't work properly... this happened to me! called bill's lock and safe. gave them 5stars when I used them 12/20/16 .. they came back out 11/2/18 didn't know the name changed to comlock security group. person did the work was very good.. I always try and have work done from businesses that are in my city. the reason for the 1 star I was billed $9.00 for fuel charge .. never quoted fee before work done. and business is on Raymond about 3.1miles from my house . not a happy customer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I used Bills for years and they were always good. However in my recent experiences I am not happy. Twice they put the keyway for my house door upside down. Then I had a car key cut at the tune of $40. They were not happy I supplied the blank. The key only works partially and they made no attempt to determine the problem or fix it. Not my idea of a quality service. read more

Had motorcycle keys for two different bikes that needed the broken keys re-made from the two halfs. The lock smith was able to get the keys to work for both bikes. Great service. read more
