It's the only sandwich she will order as a roast beef purist. She ordered the rare roast beef sandwich today at Gelsinger's and was impressed by the look of the sandwich and even more impressed with the first bite. Sadly she informed me that we no longer needed to go to Canters. That won't happen and I can enjoy both places. I ordered the roast beef dip and it was delicious. The onion rings were high quality with good flavor and crunchy. The place is very clean and inviting. The customer service was great and very friendly. There are multiple types of salami, with the German style being my favorite. I really enjoyed the imported caraway crackers which was a lighter alternative to the more solid breads. On top of that I find a spot that has cart in the way so I go to move it and the manager comes out and tells me I can't because the spot is reserved for an employee that is on their lunch break. So I asked if as a paying customer with no other parking spots available but that one, I could not park there and he said no because it was for the employee. I told him that he was a horrible manager for denying a paying customer a parking spot to ensure an employee gets it instead of taking up his parking issue with the school next door. Horrible horrible horrible!
