We celebrated a 30th birthday here with a private party on the launch pad, and it was INCREDIBLE! Such a perfect space for our party of around 30 guests (it could hold up to 50). The staff was kind enough to let us set up some decorations before the party started, and we were there for about 4 hours hanging out! Pitchers were a must . This place is pretty legit. Got to love an LA Galaxy bar. They have some cool food trucks. The staff seems good and the line always moves fast. The overall feel is pretty comfortable, a lot of wood picnic tables and an actual bar and some tables too. A lot of good t.v. screens, a few big ones both indoors and outdoors. They're always hosting some fun event. The only complaint I can make is that they're fairly pricy, if you want to get drunk and get food expect to spend about $100. read more

I found out about Common Space Brewery through a spooky market they were hosting and though I'm not much of a beer drinker I do love some spook...needless to say I headed to Commom Space. No worries about finding a place to plop here. Now the event I went to also had vegan food vendors...trucks right in their parking lot so I was able to grab some yummy vegan grub before I hit the spooky vendors. But...before I hit the vendors I had to grab myself some beer right? So as a non beer drinker I was looking for something maybe sweet and it just so happened they had this Sunrise drink that was beer, grenadine and I forget what else....maybe pineapple. I know sounds kind of sketch but baby...it tasted so flipping good! Almost like a Mai Tai. As I was walking away with my drink several people stopped to ask what I had ordered and then I spotted them walking around the event with the drink. Ayyyy...I started a trend. Anyways I hit the vendors, made some purchases and then grabbed a table, chilled and then eventually went up for another one of those Sunrise drinks cuz why not right? Went to this place during the Super Bowl game. This place is very spacious and has an awesome venue in case you want to rent out. I do wish they had a bit more of a variety of ears because of the location but nonetheless their options are very good. Beer quality is top-tier and the service is very efficient. Been coming to common space since it opened, I live about 3 minutes away and I have been to ALL kinds of breweries and this place falls into my top 3 of favorite places. Huge parking location though it does get harder to find parking during special events. Food trucks provided on the daily and a wide selection of beers and some seltzers. The beer line took about 15 minutes, as did the food line, the bar felt understaffed. AMBIENCE (5/5) - Industrial complex, 24,000 sq, large outdoor patio with plenty of picnic tables, modern indoor lounge, with a big bar and 4 unisex bathrooms. Amenities include a dog-friendly environment, Wi-Fi, board games, corn hole, even blankets in a basket near the door in case it gets chilly outside. BEER & FOOD (4/5) - Our group ordered various beers which were solid, not a giant selection, but I was happy with what I tried. While Common Space sells chips, pretzels, jerky, and almonds, I was stoked to see a burger cart. My group mowed down the California burgers and a basket of loaded fries. The perfect stomach coating before a few beers. 5 stars for taste, the burger/fries combo was about $20/person, but it took about 30 minutes from the time of ordering to get the food, and the food line took 15 minutes to get through. I've been a big fan of Common Space for years but this was my first visit to a physical location. A lot bigger than I thought it would be. Spacious outdoor area, plenty of indoor seating, open indoor/outdoor floorplan. Parked in a lot in the back of the building. Seemed like a shared lot with the warehouse next door. Showed up super hungry after Wrestlemania. Happy to see a food truck. Staff was super friendly. Plenty of merch available for purchase. Cute unicorn cut out to take fun photos. Bathrooms were clean..always a plus. We tried a couple brews. I always choose by highest percentage. Yum! We weren't there too since it was already a late night. Finished our beer as the brewery was closing and purchased a 4 pack of our favorite to take home. Common Space Brewery is definitely on my list of places to revisit and maybe even host an event at. read more

I've been to Common Space a handful of times and have always had a great experience. I used to come for trivia frequently but have significantly cut back on that. Regardless, it was very fun while it lasted. The service is great, order at the counter, take a number/get your beer, and find a table type of situation. In terms of food, they usually have some sort of food option outside ranging from food trucks to tacos to pizza, etc. Prices are reasonable. There is a parking lot in the back (you also enter the brewery from the back of the building) but there are some times when the lot is full - just keep circling until something opens up. So I dropped by Common Space once to pick up some beers and leave with a mental note for myself to come back and actually sit and enjoy. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy but not so packed that a parking spot or a table couldn't be found. I called my buddy over to come meet me for some tacos and beer. We ended up sitting at the bar and bartender service was lopsided. We had a great guy who sat there and spoke with us for a bit and when he wasn't around we had to flag down someone-my friend had a bit of analysis paralysis. I tried their flagship IPA, but they had a sour that was ok. What I found odd is that a couple of beers they listed were can pours which I always find a little odd at a brewery. I guess it's hard to forecast what they want to package and what they think can be kegged. Overall, I'm glad to have checked this brewery off the list of LA places to come visit and they had some pretty good beers and it's easy to find a space whether you're with a large group or just by yourself. read more

Common Space is one of my favorite breweries to visit across LA. While I enjoy their beers (that's important for a brewery, right?!), I love the space - it's bright and airy with a cool vibe.
