If you are a fan of a brewery experience, then this place is top notch. You have the open space with the shared big tables. You have the TVs to watch sporting events. You have the expansive beer menu. You have the cool ambience, the shared events like trivia nights to draw in the crowd, the great service and the food truck nearby to provide the complimentary food. All in all what a fun experience to be at during the World Cup. Soooooo many people. What a vibe.

What an amazing place to spend time with friends and family I've been here a few times I live in Hawthorne the food and variety of trucks are great and I usually do for the the vibe and beers. The service is exceptional. I recently celebrated my brother's 37th bday during a World Cup game we had a great time. I love Cheeto & puff gotta get the merch as well.

I bought tickets from a party promoter online. Dj's were going to perform on a Sunday. ISP and Beatjunkiz! I got there and I hear no music. I asked the bartender, I am here for an event. The bartender responded and was regretful that the event was cancelled. I was dissapointed, the bartenders gave my wife and I free drinks on the house! They did not have to do it but the did it anyways. That was definitely a nice gesture from this establishment. This location has plenty of parking and the brewery itself had an awesome vibe to it. Lots of room! Indoor and outdoor. You can even bring your dog or cat to this location. Big amenity to animal lovers. Overall, this place is a go to spot to watch sports. They focus on Dodgers, Rams, Lakers, Kings and Galaxy, nothing else!! My type of bar. I am definitely coming back. The name Common Space is actually catching. Since there are so many Aerospace companies near by.. the name itself fits the area. Cool place. Cool bartenders and good vibe.

The Common Space Brewery has pretty solid beers. Their IPA'S and Hazy's are pretty good. Not to to heavy easy to drink. Brought a 4 pack of the Wider and Awake Hazy and thier Chubby Unicorn POG Milkshake hone. The Brewery itself is pretty cool and huge. They have a fantastic huge outdoor seating area and as well indoors. The vibe is fantastic and service was friendly. It's also kids and dogs friendly atmosphere. So go ahead the whole family. The brewery is also a great place to watch sports. They also have rotating food trucks or vendors everyday I believe. When we there, the food vendors was Freddy's Birria. We ordered a couple of their steak quesadilla to share and it was good. Parking was simple, they have a private lot that had plenty of parking. Overall, it's a cool brewery with good vibes.

One of my favorite breweries with plenty of options for anyone. Been going for years, and surprised I still haven't reviewed them. Large brewery with plenty of parking, close to some other breweries as well. Aside from service delicious beers, their staff is one of the best. Pet friendy, kid friendly, and while they don't serve food, they'll usually have a food truck on-site I think they serve what I consider to be the best entry point beer when trying to get someone to try beers and IPA in their Chubby Unicorn line (Guava milkshake and POG are delicious). It's what I always try to recommend to someone to try when they don't like IPAs. Sweet and refreshing before you go into more hoppy flavor profiles. Their variations on the Chubby are also great with them having spicy guava, berry, and even glitter variations in the past! They have a great rotating tap list and they'll often do a lot of collabs. They don't just do one type of beer, you can have something light and refreshing like their Sonrisa, hoppy, hazy, fruity IPAs and even seltzers. Some of my favorites are the Food Fight IPA, Chubby Unicorn. Some of their other ones from the past when they have it like Dogtown, What a nice surprise! And Dealer's Choice. With how often I go and take home from their canned selection, I never run low on Common Space beers. They'll also host a lot of events for local vendors, sports, art, kids, etc. The venue has plenty of space, sometimes it's just fun to watch a Dodger, Rams, or Laker game. The crowds and vibes are excellent. At some point, I had the best vegan Philly cheesesteak fries I've ever had, just don't remember the truck.

I visited this venue for a college roommate's wedding and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. The layout made it feel open and comfortable, especially for an event with a lot of guests. Parking wasn't the largest, but we were still able to find a spot without too much difficulty, which was a relief. I'm usually not much of a beer person, but the one I was served here was surprisingly light and refreshing. It was easy to drink and actually quite enjoyable, even for someone who doesn't normally order beer.

I did not try the food, but the place was really cute. I like the aesthetics of the place in the ambience, but I wish I had more haze because hazy is the type of beer that I have but this place only has two one of them is really really good. The other is OK. The service was excellent. Everybody was nice. They gave me their opinions on stuff but only complain I have is bring more hazy

Vibes are great here. Service is friendly. We didn't get a chance to try the food truck, next time. Chubby unicorn was my favorite! Stress dissolver 9/10. Close encounters 7/10. Food fight 7/10. I'd come back to try more and the match is super cute. Huge plus.. dog friendly!

What a great place to pre-game before THE GAME! I cant wait to visit again and try ghe rest of their flavors . Service was amazing.. I completely trust their recommendation. The ambiance was so homey... its like chilling in the backyard with your friends and family. Can't wait to go again!

Came here with my bff after a nice walk in Manhattan Beach. I first had their Chubby Unicorn at a local SGV eatery, so took the opportunity to visit the source of CU while in a neighboring hood. First and foremost, I love the open floorplan and it's clean and well-kept. Secondly, ordering was breeze. We tried a few brews, but CU still remains my favorite even with a 8% ABV. There was a food truck there, so we were super happy because the food was tasty! My bff ordered the mole tacos and I ordered their quesadilla with carne asada thinking it'll be an average quesdilla. My bff is Latina and we both agreed it was the best quesadilla EVER! Why? The ingredients inside weren't over cooked, they didn't cram a crazy amount of filling inside (causing the tortillas get soggy/mushy), and I love the fact that they used al dente grilled green bell peppers in it. It came with a side of queso and salsa, but it was so flavorful, crisp, and hot, that it did not need any sauces. The mole tacos were good, but that quesadilla. I would come back again if I'm in the hood. We purchased a 4-pack of the CU to go. They had some board games and I got to teach my bff how to play Cards Against Humanity. LOL. There were a good amount of restrooms that were clean and the staff was very approachable/chill. Their music selection was awesome. It had an eclectic mix of 80's and 90's.

We went for a book event and it was really cool. They had amazing vendors. Next time I'll go there to eat!

    Micheladas are excellent!
    Cenllase E.

This brewery not only has really good beer, their Chubby Unicorn flavor is one of my all time favorites, the space itself is great. Tried their micheladas with two different beers and they were both delicious, and I tend to be quite picky with those. We went on a Sunday afternoon to watch a Dodger game and the space was sparsely packed. There was a food truck and a coffee shop set up, for the non beer people. The duo indoor and outdoor spaces were adequately equipped for optimal seating, and there was even a Photo Booth in the back! Excited to go back and try the rest of their beers and attend the many events they host throughout the week.

I love common space because it's such a chill family-friendly space. It feels safe to go with big groups without worrying about being too loud or disruptive because the place is always poppin' and the staff is so chill. There's always a food vendor outside (check their website to ensure what is being sold that day), and they also have candy, snacks, and juices for the kiddos. I do wish they'd have board games for rent or borrowing. The chubby unicorn is bomb! Common space is a staple brewery of LA. Check it out!

The crew behind the counter is always welcoming, knows their beer, and actually remembers people and what they like. It has that rare neighborhood feel where you don't just grab a drink and leave. You feel like part of something. The rotating food vendors are solid, and being able to bring your own food is a big plus. The space itself is great. It's tucked right off Rosecrans with both indoor and outdoor seating. The garage doors open things up so you still get that beach breeze even if you're inside. Only real downside is parking right in front can be tough, but if you're willing to walk a block, Hawthorne and Rosecrans usually have spots. We even hosted a party here in 2025 and the experience was smooth from start to finish. Chris made everything easy. Communication was mostly over email, super clear and responsive, and they took the time to walk us through the space in person when we had questions. The upstairs area is very nice though can run a little warm. Thankfully, they have fans! We opted for the patio since I like the open air and it gave us extra room. Very helpful and accommodating and a super reasonable minimum spending amount. We had around 30 people and it never felt cramped. A bunch of our friends have come back on their own since, which says a lot. And yeah, the beer. It's that good. There are a lot of strong breweries around here, but this one hits different. The Hazy Lil Daisy IPA is a go to, and their seasonal and themed releases are always fun and creative without sacrificing quality. They also make it easy for non drinkers to feel included with solid options like NA seltzers, sodas, and juices (which works great for my wife)!

Of course, I kid, beer can be a wonderful thing, I just rather do cocktails and shots. So I went to Sugar Monkey Brewing because of a different pull: a power point slide show where friends pitch their single friends to strangers for a chance at love or romp. So I went in not knowing much of Sugar Monkey Brewing and I left with clear understanding that this place is an industrial beer oasis near the beach. The contrast of sand and blue on the horizon and the present aluminum lining made me feel like I was seeing a new uncommon mixture that proved that clashing environments can gel to delight. I found parking easily. It was a Saturday early evening, and about a 5 minute walk was where I discovered my spot. I honestly hated that I had to walk those 5 minutes but the walk uplifted my spirits for the weather was California crisp and the air and sky and atmosphere felt safe and proper. I wondered if i had the right place? The streets looked like too industrial. Like I had gone to one of those places that had a lot of factories in rows, but not much else. But I turned a corner and there was Sugar Monkey. Then I realized that a brewery would probably look like a beer factory so this place, with all its steel and pumps, had found its home amongst beach skies. As I walked back to my car, later that evening, I was in slight awe at the pale light blue and orange sky. It was serene, and vast and somehow beach appropriate. The water tower iin a picture I took was a nice touch as it reminded me of the Animaniacs, especially Wakko and Dot. I arrived after the first presentation was on its way. I started to listen intently to understand the dynamics because this all seemed so weird yet plausible. Like a dating auction turned fun not hokey or corny? The person was hyping up her friend J. Apparently, he spoke many languages, and hiked and did all these other stuff that were meant to induce attractions. Then she asked, What can he do? And she then explained how she was going to make a joke and that no one needed to fear going to hell if they laughed. And she then reveal that the thing he can't do is SEE because he was blind. The joke was in good taste. The joke, at least to me, carried disability pride. She had revealed that he was different because his sight was different to a crowd of would be judges and suitors. The strength of the duo was refreshing, dare I say, more than the beach breeze. Being witness to this moment made me feel like I had seen a beautiful moment and one I never imagine I would see. And for this reason alone, my trip to Sugar Monkey was more than fun, it was heart-opening. The place itself is cool. Their outside was a huge garden like setting. The place had pool, however, the patio is crowded so I am not sure how people can play if too many people are there. Another thing I saw- that is a credit to this place- is that it had a wheelchair elevator. So if someone was chilling in the patio and wanted to chill in their wooded floor area- where the bar was they could use the wheelchair lift, if they could not use their legs. The place had also had kind of like an off-beat personality. It had a British phone, an astronaut that seemed to have hit a space that painted him with grafitti flare, and beers with names like green means go. I think I would go to this place again, for the beer and the air and to Karaoke. I loved this place and the activity it hosted!
