When…read morethe Navy recently moved me from San Diego, the movers completely demolished my teak chest of drawers and a lamp that my grandfather had made by hand (among many other less egregious damages). I thought the former was utterly irreparable: the base had been torn off, the drawers' slides had lost their ball bearings, and the whole thing looked ready for the dump. Enter Pat. He's friendly, professional, and extremely good at what he does. Moreover, he went absolutely above and beyond in making sure that I was happy with his work. He not only fixed my grandfather's lamp, but also sanded the base and restored it to better than its original, pre-move condition. As for the chest of drawers, the man works miracles; he put Humpty-Dumpty back together again. A few days after he delivered it, unfortunately, I discovered that two of the drawers were slightly out of whack. When I told him about the issues, he came over the very next day and spent nearly three hours making sure that every slide of every drawer worked perfectly. I would cheerfully award Pat more than 5 stars, and really cannot recommend him enough.

The crew that we worked with was ah-maz-ing! Ed, Joanne, & Wayne gave us such valuable information and helped turn the 17 of us into skilled carpenters that can hammer nails with the best of them, put windows in a house, and lay a roof down in four days! Four days! All we started with was the cement slab. What I really like about the program that they have is the homeowners (not necessarily of the house you are building) have to complete so many 'hands on' hours before they can move in. It was pretty neat to see a couple of them right there next to us. Don't know about Habitat? Here is a little information. Habitat builds houses in partnership with low and very low income families in need of decent shelter. To keep the cost of our houses affordable, Habitat uses the labor of thousands of volunteers. Habitat's partner families pay for their homes. Partner families invest more than money, they offer their own labor - sweat equity - into building their own homes and the homes of others. Their goal: To witness to the Word of God and the love of Jesus Christ for all persons through our words and actions. We moved to Panama City area last year. While living on and restoring an old sailboat some of our…read moreparts and tools were a kept at an indoor allegedly secure unit. Recently the unit was broken into and expensive boat electronics and many tools were taken. The security system had been non functional for over a month allowing thieves to easily steal our belongings. The facility had previous theft on exterior units yet ignored the security breakdown. Many attempts were made to recover our items or funds to replace them. Storage King refuses to make this right. I am stuck here without parts or funds for my home/boat. I highly recommend anyone to consider another storage facility. It is unfortunate I must suffer due to incompetence, neglect, and disregard. Corporate once again cares little for average consumers
